Hillebrand Nursing and Rehabilitation Center was the last place my dad went to. The staffing was nice. I liked the nurses; they were good. But I thought the building was old. It was nothing to write home about. It hadn't been redone in a long time, and my dad's room was kind of junky. It was kind of like odds and ends that they stored in there or something like that. His room wasn't good, and the TV was very small on the wall. With regard to dining, my dad seemed okay with the food. He liked the food. The staff was nice and sweet, but they didn't come all the time when you called. And it was hard to get in touch with somebody over the phone. If you tried to call and talk to a nurse, that was pretty much impossible. The elevator kept breaking down, and there was only one elevator, so you had to use the stairs sometimes. What they could improve is updating their facility. They could renovate it, maybe get some new furniture and put a bigger TV in the bedroom.

The staff at Hillebrand try to match residents that will be compatiable. This helps when in a double room situation. If there is a conflict, the staff is willing to make changes so it works for everyone. There are several options daily for meals. The meals are different every week. The staff is wonderful. They are very caring and address the needs of the resident. There are activities daily for the residents. My Mom especially liked bingo and the concerts on Friday. There are also a special trip for the residents usually once a month. There are van services for doctor appointments. I highly recommend Hillebrand. It was like family there.

Been very disappointed with numerous things with Hillebrand. The lacking of staffing I am sure they pay sub-par wages, which doesn't get the best help. My loved one has been there a little over a month. The things my family has seen and I have seen has been very disappointing. The icing on the cake is when someone at the facility stole my uncles ring off his swollen ring finger. They either cut it off or took off with force. Very, very, disappointing from a facility you pay $13,000 to take good care of your loved one and have high hope for good care.

My ex-mother-in-law lives in Hillebrand Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. We visit there once a week. She's in long-term care. We're happy with it. The staff is caring. They know how to deal with memory type care things. She has dementia, and she's unable to walk anymore. She also has hospice coming in and visiting her there, so she has a little extra care. It's very clean. The food is fine; they have a good variety. They have different activities. They have an activity crew who keeps them involved in different things. They try to keep them entertained and preoccupied. There is a beauty salon.

My mom was in Hillebrand for rehab following a stroke. She received physical and speech therapy. They worked well with her, very empathetic considering her fear and some confusion. She made great progress and was able to her assisted living facility. The nursing staff was great and assisted her with all of her needs. She had plenty to eat which she enjoyed! My mom enjoyed the music and bingo. Her room was great, very roomy. Facility very clean.

The staff, kitchen and nursing staff are excellent. Dad is happier and seems healthier since going to Hillebrand. Dad took temporary residency just before the pandemic after a bad fall at another facility. Our family feels blessed dad was at Hillebrandt for re-hab at the time he was admitted. We decided to keep him at Hillenbradt because of the professionalism of all the staff. Thank you!

My sister in law was there for 20 days... She came out with a pressure wound as large as a basketball and contracted C-diff. She couldn't get anyone to come help her at night at all, though she said the day shift was pleasant. I'd sooner place her bed on the hwy before letting her go there again.... save your family and leave there if your there... But i pray you don't go there at all..

I was at Hillebrand for Rehab. I honestly didn’t know what the outcome would be before I was admitted. Because of the wonderful Rehab and fantastic therapy, I am now back home with my husband, which I didn’t think would be possible before. There were very few things that weren’t wonderful about my stay. Hillebrand is now like a second home for me, I will definitely be back for visits and if I need skilled nursing again! This place is the greatest thing since sliced bread!

I recommend this facility for anyone looking for great customer service and a caring environment. My grandmother has been to the facility twice for rehabilitation and we are extremely happy with the services provided. She was very happy with the single person suites, which appeared recently renovated. The admission staff, therapist and nurses were a pleasure to deal with.

My Mother was a resident of Hillebrand off and on for 10 months due to multiple medical issues. The staff at Hillebrand treated her like family and they were genuinely interested in her rehabilitation. My siblings and I were overwhelmed by their concern and care of her. Previously, she had been in a newer, state of the art facility where we had to constantly stay on the staff to take care of her medical needs and dietary restrictions. This was never the case at Hillebrand where my Mom's care and needs were always attended to and always with a smile. Although my mother has now moved on to a new senior living facility as her rehabilitation was completely successful, we are so grateful for Hillebrand for the very important and highly professional care she received. Should she require nursing or rehabilitation anytime in the future, Hillebrand is our only choice.

The entire Hillebrand operation is first class! The employees are smiling and caring. PT and rehab department were very encouraging and helpful too me. I would not hesitate to return for any reason. I loved and appreciated all the help I got there.

My mom was a resident for a couple years. We loved everything about this place! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was always delicious. My mom was not someone who would attend activities, but they had a variety of options available. My mom was very happy when she was there and never had a bad thing to say!

We would like to take the opportunity to thank the staff of Hillebrand for the great care our mother received. The nursing assistants and nursing staff were aware of all of our mothers needs and treated her with such kindness; for that we are eternally grateful. They gave our family peace of mind. We left after each visit with that feeling.

My family’s experience with Hillebrand was phenomenal. There is such a stigma associated with the words “nursing home” but this facility works very hard to create a culture of change, kindness and positivity. You can tell that they are different from the moment you walk through the door. We knew that our mom/grandmother was being cared for and treated with dignity. From her admission, nursing care, to discharge, each member of the staff gave us guidance and advice in an area we don’t have much prior experience. We are eternally grateful for the care she received, and wouldn’t consider any other facility on the west side for nursing or rehab!

I am skeptical of their claims of “Perfect Surveys” as my parent survey came bearing the name of another individual and would not have been delivered correctly except for the mail carrier asking. They have activities and that’s great until your parent gets sick- when they act like they need real care: whole new ball game. There have been infections that were perpetuated by dereliction of duty, but given that their staff is dwindling like an ice cream cone on the driveway in July: I’m not surprised. Communication is certainly in need of review. The nurses barely speak to the AIDS and the higher ups don’t even make eye contact with them in the hallways. It’s pathetic that the AIDS are changing colostomy bags and having to take family aside and say- your parent is getting cleaned properly. It’s not uncommon to have 1 aid for the overnight shift and we wonder why our Mom sits in a wet diaper? No lift for patients so you can imagine. Some families have to put up signs to make sure proper care is given. Full wardrobe of clothing lost twice, lost hearing aids, lost jewelry, lost dentures, lost hosiery, and the SMELL of the third floor is atrocious. Go elsewhere. There’s no doubt that they make everything LOOK nice to con you in. You’ll get Neosporin faster from the drugstore than through a report with these folks.

My mom returned to Ohio and is in Hillebrand Nursing & Rehab Center. We were familiar with the place. They were very good and easy to work with. Mom had no complaints about the food. It was a good place for Mother, and I would recommend them.

My brother is at Hillebrand Nursing & Rehab Center. The staff seemed very caring. They have a rehab facility there with excellent physical therapists. They have lots of activities for people to do. Currently he is in a private room with a private bath. Windows that are bright that brings a lot of sun into the room. I felt very safe with him in there.
