"I was at Arbors for a week for rehab a few days ago…if i didn’t have a cat, as I told Admission person, I’d move right in to one of their assisted living rooms…food good, staff, at times, great but all staff, housekeeping to management friendly, caring and helpful. I had a room to myself, which was fantastic. My view out my window was of trees and bushes and I got to see all kinds of birds and butterflies, as there is a nature center nearby. My favorite person was admission woman who was quick to answer my questions. I liked sunflowers resident had planted."

"My tour experience at the rehabilitation facility of The Atlantes was great, but as soon as they found out that my mother had Alzheimer's, they were leaning towards not being able to accommodate her because they had no locked unit. They seemed to be fine had they been able to accommodate her. It was a very quick, basic tour of showing me the room, which seemed to be a nice-sized room. It's a private room with a bathroom attached. It had a closet, a desk, a bed, a nightstand, and your own bathroom. They had a small refrigerator, too, although I wouldn't consider it a full apartment. The staff who gave the tour was very helpful. She has worked for the company for a very long time and was very knowledgeable, and was able to recommend a place that could accommodate my mom. The place seemed to be nice, the way they set it up. The halls were very wide and very open, so you could maneuver easily through them. They seemed to have a lot of activity going on, too."

The staff was fine, except for the finances. They kept pushing for more money, but still it was a good place. I would choose it if it was OK for me."

"My father was at Venetian Gardens. He liked the nurses there. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly. It was set up like an Italian hotel, and it looked nice. The upkeep was good, too. They had a podiatrist, physical therapy, a beauty salon, and a very large dining hall. They should improve their food because it wasn't quite as good as it should have been. I think it would be better if the food was prepared on site."

"I was recently admitted after ankle surgery as a rehab patient. I was presently surprised how beautiful the facility was and my large spacious room with bathroom. the staff was great but the rehab therapists were outstanding . When my 20 days were up with insurance the therapists had me ready to go home, they taught me so much so i was ready to go home. I am diabetic so my only regret was the food, but i survived. all my visitors were greated by super friendly staff. "

"My friend really likes The Mariemont Care Center. The staff is very attentive, very friendly, and very efficient. They do a good job. Her room is a lot smaller than what she's used to, but she's really turned it into her home with her art and her furniture, and that has a gorgeous view of the valley because it sits up on a hillside. They're renovating a lot of spaces, so it's kind of like a work in progress, but the parts that I've seen that they've completed are really lovely. There's plenty of parking. The patio is nice, under a roof, and spacious."

"My mother is at The Glen. It seemed like the most appropriate place for the needs of my mom at this time. The staff has been very helpful. The room is set up really nicely. The bathroom really accommodates her being able to move around in a wheelchair. So far, everyone has been extremely helpful, and always courteous and kind. The dining area is very nice, but due to the COVID situation, they're not actually eating in the dining room. She says the food is very good. It's kind of hard to rate the experience in the dining room because they are just trying to get back to being able to actually use it. There is an activity program, and they recently had a Chinese New Year party. It's kind of hard to rate what it would be outside of the COVID situation because they're limited on what they can do at the moment because of the restrictions in our state due to COVID, as far as taking the seniors out on trips. The activity director has plans for outdoor gardening projects, and trips, and entertainment coming in. My mother has only been there a little bit, so I don't really know what all has happened. She was just getting settled in, and due to the COVID situation, so many of the things they would be doing, they can't do at this time. I know they are doing craft classes, and having some entertainment streamed, and small group parties. I believe everybody has done the very best they can to try to make my mother feel comfortable and welcomed. She says the food is good. Everything's very clean and nice looking, and seems to be kept up well. We had a few issues when she first moved in. We had a door that had to be fixed. It's not actually their fault, they can't do a lot right at the moment. Price is pretty comparable to other places in our area. As she declines, they actually have the full skilled nursing side of their community."

"Twin Lakes is over-the-top and in a very exclusive part of the Cincinnati area. The people who live there have lots of money. It is very expensive to live there, and it didn't feel as friendly. Everything we saw was very clean, fairly new, and nice. Everybody seemed very nice and were having a good time. The staff seemed nice too. The dining area was pretty small, but the food looked expensive. They have a swimming pool and a health club. It seemed older and extremely busy. The equipment didn't look nice."

"I was just at Montgomery Care Center for 2 months after my knee surgery and hip fracture for rehab. The staff was very caring, facility was clean, food was delicious. Very surprised how good the food was for a nursing home, spoke with the chef and he comes from fine dining. I would recommend this facility to any friend or family member. "
