"Had two friends who stayed there long term. Wonderful caring little place. Small but staff really cares about the patients. Personal touch for sure. Clean and beautiful. Activities are second to none. Highly recommended. "

"We put my husband in a home called Meadowbrook Care Center. It's a memory care and a clinical care place. So far, it seems like he's getting excellent care as far as that goes. I talked to the nurses when we left, and they said they would keep an eye on him. He was a little agitated this morning when he woke up because he was in a new place and he didn't know exactly where he was. His sister got over there about 10:00 and she says after she was there for about half an hour, he calmed down. They said he didn't eat that much for breakfast, but for his lunch, he ate it all. The building is probably about 40 years old, but the rehab part where he's in is about two years old. It's very clean and the rooms are very large. He has a small round table, a bed, an armoire, a dresser, and a chair. If he wanted anything else, he could put it in and there's a TV up on the wall. The staff seemed to be quite well, because when we were there, they came in two or three times to check on him, make sure we had enough water, and that he ate his lunch and they took his lunch out after he had finished. It's only been a day, so I hope it keeps going that way. They were very caring and wanted to help and offered anything that we needed and anything that he needed to make him comfortable while he was there. They had egg salad, some potato chips, some tomatoes, and some ambrosia, and he ate all of it, which I was surprised about. I've only gone down two halls. It was very clean, and it didn't have any odors to it or anything like that. The patients that were walking around were well cared for and dressed. Some of them were in wheelchairs, but they were getting around fairly well. I'm hoping that he'll get the care that he needs. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it's about ten miles from the house."

"My mother is currently in Maineville SeniorLife Neighborhood. Her room right now, I'm very, very happy with it. We've been able to decorate it in our own way to make her more comfortable and they let us decorate it with her things from her home. The staff is friendly. Their long-term skilled nursing facility is very nice. I have not tried the food, but it seems like a well-balanced diet that they provide. They have people come in and they do occupational therapy, and speech therapy and she gets exercises. They walk her around with a walker. But there's kind of a staff shortage. They try their best, but there's not as much staff for the people that are there. But they provide good services. If they had more staff, I would give them a higher rating. The occupational therapists are wonderful."

"Twin Lakes was very clean and bright. It's all enclosed. You can get to independent living and assisted living without going outside. The tour was lovely. The staff was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They have all the appliances you need, and you can make changes to your apartment. They are very customizable, which was nice. They have a refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, and dryer."

"My loved one has been at CareCore of Montgomery for almost four months and I have visited often at vsrious times the day. So far, after the normal adjustment period of getting used to this facility as well as them getting to know my loved one, I have been pleased with the care they are receiving. I know my loved one is safe with an ankle alarm in case of wondering, they are well cared for, well fed, offered activities to participate in if they choose, and receives physical therapy, and proper medical attention as needed. I have had experiences with four other nursing homes in this area with other family members in past years so I feel experienced in my assessment here. As of this writing, I find the staff at Carecore of Montgomery to be very accommodating, willing to please to individual needs of the many different personalities. I find them to be very open to family suggestions, or requests and do whatever it takes to make being there as pleasant an experience as possible for both the residents and Carecore of Montgomery. I will continue to update."

"Venetian Gardens have really nice rooms very spacious and clean.We had good interaction with the nurses they were all very nice and very professional . From what I could see there plenty of activities for the residents to enjoy , I just visited my son there. All the staff were great and helpful it is a5 star to me Thank to you all."

"We went to the Christian Village at Mason. I liked it because everything was all on one floor. They had cottages for independent living. We saw a two-bedroom cottage, and it was very nice. The staff was very professional, showed us around, and toured the whole place. We had a nice tour."

"Margret J. Thomas Inpatient Care Center was generally fantastic. Once we decided to transition from the hospital, they were super helpful when trying to listen to what my dad wanted. They also trained me and helped me understand what to expect, how to care for his body physically, how to listen to him emotionally, and how to attend to many of his needs. It was extraordinary. They also offer food service and it was decent. My dad wasn't eating a lot, but they were trying to get him to eat as much as possible. I was flabbergasted at how beautiful the rooms and grounds were. All the rooms had huge bay windows that looked out on beautiful landscaping. It was just lovely."

"In 2011, I had to have emergency surgery shortly after my husband had had a knee replacement. While I was in for surgery, my husband was taken to this facility since he couldn't be alone, not able to walk yet. I was in the hospital for 4 days and was brought to this facility for recuperation and physical therapy. We were there together for 2 weeks, in separate rooms. We were able to eat meals together, watch tv and just be together during this traumatic time. We were treated extremely well. The staff is very caring and if you rang for someone, they were there immediately. High praise for this facility!"

"Mom has been with Mason Health Care Center for quite a while and doing quite well. The place is very clean. I think they're probably a little short-staffed like a lot of places that I've seen (we've been through a few places), but they managed. I think the nurses are very good. They do pretty well with the activities, external and internal. They have bingo and different events, and they also go out to places. The only negative is their food. They need a cook, a chef, or somebody who knows how to put food groups together. Sometimes they don't even have food in the full food groups. They just put something together that doesn't make sense. Mom might get pasta, jello, and pie or something like that at dinner. You need your proteins."

"The staff at Cottingham Retirement Community is excellent. They're very on the ball. My boyfriend's mother is always very clean. Her room is also cleaned. The food is excellent. The activities that they do there are fun. It keeps them busy and keeps her stimulated. It's very easy to get to. They are very friendly and very hands-on, too. A family member brings her dog over there to visit and there's always a dog around for somebody to pet. We've been over there for birthday parties. They have a room available for the seniors to have their families to bring in cake and have parties and stuff. It's just a very nice atmosphere. I haven't found anything that I don't like about it. It's always very clean. There's nothing on the floors. I have not eaten their food, but my boyfriend has. If his mother doesn't want the food, he tastes it and says it's excellent. It's a good place."
