"My mom is in the memory care unit of Provision Living at West Clermont. We chose it for its location and facilities. The facilities are topnotch and they offer activities like crafts and ice cream socials. The staff are all extremely nice and attentive. The food is also very good."

"We visited The Kenwood in person. We were very happy with it. We chose it more for convenience and familiarity. We lived very close to it and we knew a lot of people that go there for one reason or another. We felt comfortable with that. We like the location and we like the views. As far as the caring goes, it's definitely top of the line. The facility was top of the line and very beautiful. The people were very knowledgeable, caring, and professional. We knew people that lived there, so I have dined there previously. I haven't eaten in their memory care area. I think the menu may be slightly different, but I dined at two different restaurants in the place."

"Harmony at Anderson seemed like a very nice facility. It's clean. I was just concerned about the ratio of caregiver to residents, and they don't accept Medicaid. Everything looked pretty new there."

"I visited this community looking for a friend to provide feedback. I was more than impressed. All the staff were so helpful and genuinely looked happy. It was comforting to see that all the residents looked happy and enjoying themselves. You can tell the staff here go above and beyond to make this community as much like home for their residents as possible. I highly recommend checking this community out. "I visited the independent living community of The Summit of Blue Ash, and I liked it a lot. It's just that their 1-bedroom with a den is not really a 1-bedroom with a den. It was more of a 1-bedroom with a small corner that you could do something in. It wasn't even a room, but just like a larger closet. My siblings are literally down the road from where the facility is, so it's convenient for all of them. I like that it's centrally located. The facility is brand-new, so it's nice inside. Meals are all included, but they have a full-size kitchen in the rooms. They also have room for a dining room table and a living room area. I would prefer to have their 2-bedroom apartment because I want an office that is also a sewing room, so that's what I need the second bedroom for. If my kids also come, I have a second bed that they can sleep in. Even though the facility provides an apartment-type thing that they could stay in, that's on a first-come, first-served basis, so if somebody else has it reserved at the same time, then one would get it, and one would not."

"It is extremely nice. The facilities are beautiful. The grounds are beautiful. The dining area is extremely nice. The staff we met were extremely nice and friendly. I only saw 2 rooms that were like studio rooms. They have a dresser, closet, and space for a TV. They have a theater room and a lot of places to just sit and lounge. Everything is very bright,.The furnishings are relatively new. They have an exercise room with exercise things in it. There's also a salon inside."

"My stepmom is now at Traditions of Deerfield. It's very nice. It's decorated great and very comfy. Everyone has been nice, and because she has Alzheimer's, they are working with her. She has some behavioral issues, too. They call me every day and they let me know how she's doing. The interaction with the staff has been good. It's great. Her room is very bright and comfortable. She has her own bathroom, which she'll need help with, but that's okay because they help her. They do a survey, so you tell them what your loved one used to like to do, and so they try to do fun things around those. They have activities every day. They even take them on outings, but my stepmom has not been out. They have a movie theater that they take them down to. I don't know the staff well, but when I met them, they were very friendly and they offered to help. "

"The facilities there are great. My grandmother has developed Alzheimers, and had to be put in the home. She seems to be happy there. The staff are always kind and friendly when I go to visit. The bathrooms are kept neat and tidy as well. One thing I like about Cedar Village is that they have activities for the residents. Last weekend, my grandmother participated in karaoke. They also have frequent bingo games. So far I do not have any problems with the Staff or facilities. My only concern is that the residents might wander out of the complex and into the streets, as the gate is always open. The fitness center is great for the younger residents. It is not used that often, but all the equipment is safe and kept in tip-top condition. There are also trainers there to assist the elderly or impaired that might be working out. Their laundry and housekeeping services are good as well; they have same-day pick up and delivery right to your room. Overall, I am very pleased with Cedar Village. "

"Brookdale Place is very nice, I was actually inquiring for myself, and it was not something that was suited for me, but I like the facility. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was great, and they served us a coffee. They had an old jukebox. The only problem was it was a little bit loud, but other than it was great. "

"Brookdale Springdale (Formerly Sterling House of Springdale) was a nice facility but it wasn't appropriate for my mother-in-law. It was more of an Alzheimer's type facility and she wasn't needing that type of care, but they were very warm, very friendly and helpful there. It was a locked down facility. Some rooms were apartment style but there were others that were more just like a room and they didn't have as many amenities. They did have areas where you could sit and visit but everything was on a smaller basis because there were fewer residents than the other one we visited. For a locked down facility, it seemed very nice. "

"They are very good. As far as I can tell, the staff is great and everybody is wonderful. My mother-in-law has a room there. The place is very clean and only a year old. They always get her out of her room, and they do all kinds of activities in the activity room. My husband and sister-in-law have eaten there, and the food is good. They also have a courtyard that they can go out into when it's warmer, and grow vegetables and flowers there."

"Covington Ladies Home is small and personalized. It's been a lady's home for 125 years. It's a big old mansion, but it's very well kept and updated. It's beautiful and they keep it very clean. The staff is very caring and that's the most important thing. My mom has been there for almost five weeks now. She loves the food. The staff everyone I've dealt with is very friendly and on top of things. They call me for every little thing. The only drawback for a 125-year old building is there are no individual toilets in each room. There are sinks, vanity mirror, but you have to go two doors down for a toilet and shower. I thought that doesn't really bother her or me much. But it would be great if they could get modernized and put in bathrooms in each room. "
