My stepmom is now at Traditions of Deerfield. It's very nice. It's decorated great and very comfy. Everyone has been nice, and because she has Alzheimer's, they are working with her. She has some behavioral issues, too. They call me every day and they let me know how she's doing. The interaction with the staff has been good. It's great. Her room is very bright and comfortable. She has her own bathroom, which she'll need help with, but that's okay because they help her. They do a survey, so you tell them what your loved one used to like to do, and so they try to do fun things around those. They have activities every day. They even take them on outings, but my stepmom has not been out. They have a movie theater that they take them down to. I don't know the staff well, but when I met them, they were very friendly and they offered to help.

We toured Traditions of Deerfield and I remember how spacious it was and how friendly the staff there that I'd spoken to. It was spacious where mom could go to different places and do different things, whether playing games here or watching TV over there. They didn't have a stove, but they had a refrigerator and a microwave. Everything seemed pretty nice and relatively new. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It's a good experience.

We toured Traditions of Deerfield. The person who took us through was very pleasant, and it's a very nice environment. Everything seems to be very congenial. It was nice, neat, and clean, and the whole nine yards. The rooms are nice size. We looked at a one-bedroom. I guess you call it an apartment, a living room, and a bedroom. They have a place where they have happy hours. The dining room was nice. They have a library and a nice courtyard. They have a menu, and whatever we saw looked like it would be good. It was a nice variety of choices and whatever.

Traditions of Deerfield was nice, but not as nice as the others that I've toured. It didn't have that wow factor, it feels different. The staff who gave me the tour was nice, but he wasn't as personable nor as friendly. In terms of facilities, they didn't have much to offer. They had an activity room, it was smaller, it didn't seem like they had much going on compared to the other places. They had a gym, a chapel, and a salon. It's clean and it's new, it's only 4 years old. The rooms were nice and they seem smaller, but the pricing was a little higher, so I wasn't quite sold on that.

I went to Traditions of Deerfield. The layout was very nice, and it was very clean. The memory care unit seemed to be pretty well staffed. It's just a brief walkthrough. I was talking to the sales guy and then I got introduced to the director, and she was very nice.

Traditions of Deerfield was very nice. Everything was very clean. We were there for a luau and different things. They were very pleasant in showing us everything. It was one of the first ones I have visited, and it's been three years since I was there. The staff was very helpful, and the food was very good. We were looking for a place that had a garage because at that time, both my husband and I were driving and we had cars. They didn't have garages there. It was very nicely kept. They had the fitness room and three levels of care there: independent, assisted and memory.

The staff at Traditions of Deerfield was very, very friendly, and very welcoming. They posted, "Welcome to Traditions," for my parents, which I thought was really nice. I took pictures and they gave me that paper. They did not come to the tour, and I guess they weren't aware of that, so I shared that with my parents. They gave us dinners to try out. Their pricing was very decent, and the assisted living facility was very clean, updated, and just beautiful. I worked with Ted, who is the community relations director, and Karen, and they were just very personable and very attentive. I really enjoyed the staff. We're Jewish and they are looking to invite more of the Jewish community into their facility. I just loved everything about it. I have followed up with them as well and told them we're gonna put this on hold. They offered incentives prior to moving in by accommodating us, that we would have to pay more out-of-pocket until the VA benefits. I met the activities director. Everybody was just very warm and welcoming. It was a great atmosphere, and I shared that with my parents. It's a nice facility overall. Great satisfaction with my visit. I visited during COVID times, so the activities were very limited. I met the activities director, and I looked at the schedule of events, and it's nice that there are things there like muscle strengthening, and that's great. The dining area was very elegant and very inviting. There were no tablecloths on the table because of COVID, and two people were seated at the table versus four now. Everybody is vaccinated. It's a clean facility. They have a pub and that's where they carry a lot of their different activities and happy hour. There are a lot of things that they can engage in, and I've talked to my parents about that, too, quality of life and enrichment of life.

My dad stayed in Traditions of Deerfield for three weeks. The place was very nice and the room was very accommodating. They have a chef, which I think he appreciated because he's finicky about food, and getting him good food was important for his particular situation. He wasn't mobile and couldn't really get up and ambulate on his own, but they were flexible and made different things for him. I have no qualms about their quality of food or the chef. I just had a couple of drawbacks about them. The food given to him was cold upon occasion, and when my mom went there to visit once, there were a bunch of dishes piled up in the sink. That was a little troubling. The staff was very nice, though. They were responsive, and they worked with us on price. The biggest drawback was what happened during Christmas. Nobody could come in and visit there and we get it, that it's because of COVID. I dropped off some Christmas gifts for him so he could have something to open, but we came to discover that several of the Christmas gifts were just put over on the side of the room and weren't even given to him to open until two days later. That just bothered me, because that was just a simple task. It drew my attention to the level of care that was going on there. Overall, it was about as we expected. He was getting physical therapy to come in, since they don't have any physical therapy folks onsite, so they had to outsource them. We had fun, and I had good communication with them. I wouldn't say I don't recommend the place, but price-wise they were comparable to the other facilities he ended up with.

My mom has moved into Traditions of Deerfield in Loveland, and she's been there for a month now. It's a very nice place and she feels safer. She gets a lot of the necessary attention she needs and she seems to be pretty content. Her room is a pretty good size, it's a studio and it's pretty big. She has a big size bathroom. A lot of others we saw were pretty small and the showers were very narrow but hers are wide and easy to get in and out and to accommodate handicaps. They're very attentive to her. She seems to be satisfied with the food and she has good choices, too. She likes it pretty well. They're very personable and professional. We get calls if there's any concern, and they keep the family informed. They have a lot to offer to residents when it comes to activities. These places are expensive wherever you go but I'd say this place is worth it. It's very wide open and it's secured too.

There is a disconnect between the Marketing people and the workers providing actual care. Their medical care resulted in my loved one getting a raging infection. I feel treatment should have been much more agressive however the Medical team is run by an LPN, not a registered nurse and no Doctor saw our family member, Only a Physicians Assistant. In Less than two months at this facility, our family member was hospitalized for this infection, which I feel could probably have been avoided. Apt. cleanlness and personal hygiene was an issue also. Seems like employees are lax in many areas and don't really know what the proper care should be. We were charged for the maximum level of care but I feel did not receive it. If you don't need any medical care, nice place. Extremely unhappy with the facility

My mother has now been a resident of Traditions of Deerfield for nine months. She has received excellent care. The staff is wonderful. They know all the residents by name and are constantly looking out for them. It took a while to get a good staff, but things have settled down and are running smoothly. The care staff is especially kind and thoughtful. The food is very good. My mother hasn't complained about it once. I'm so happy we chose Traditions for her new home. I would highly recommend this facility.

This is a beautiful facility and although new, it has been steadily improving in the care of my relative who resides there. It has a friendly atmosphere and the administrator and staff is very helpful.

Traditions of Deerfield is very nice and wonderful. The person who gave me the tour was wonderful and even though she just filled in for someone, she did a great job. The place is brand new and immaculate. There were a lot of activities going on and there was a gathering in the pub and there were beer and wine. They were having a great time. They're dog-friendly and were willing to provide solutions. It would be a viable option and I didn't think the price was out of line.

The staffing is horrendous. Constantly understaffed. As soon as you meet the new staff they are gone. The call lights do not get answered timely. The food is less than desirable. Very over priced for what you get. New Management in place that seems clueless. You don’t get what they sell to you...buyer beware!

My dad just moved into Traditions. The staff has been amazing. The move in process was simple and my dad was comfortable in his new apartment right away. It is perfect for him. The food is wonderful. Our family has already joined my dad for lunch and dinner several times as well as for a fun summer barbecue with live music. He has already made friends and it is nice knowing that he has good company and is already more active. Having and excellent nursing staff has also been very helpful.

I love the Traditions of Deerfield. I would go there in a second, but I can't afford it. They were very welcoming and almost bent over backward when we came in. I liked all their amenities. They have a nice gathering room for everyone to get together, and they have a nice library, an activity room, and a chapel. The rooms were very pleasant and the food was good. I liked everything about this community. They had a lot to offer. It would be nice if they could come down a little bit on the cost.
