My mother-in-law is now in Majestic Care of Cedar Village. I like it. It's very clean. The staff is wonderful. They're very kind and patient. Those are the two main and important things they have. They provide bathing care, haircuts, and all of those kinds of things. I've been there during mealtime, and they provide nutritious, good meals. So those are the things I'm happy about the most. I don't remember all the different activities, but they had a schedule on the wall, and it was just full of activities and full of options. They had a variety of activities. My mother-in-law's room is not too small. She's got a nice window with a decent view, and they keep it clean. All of her items and stuff are marked with her room number and her name. They seem to do a good job of managing it all. Their food looked good, and it looked like they provided plenty of food. My mother-in-law likes her food, and she was very happy with it.

Rooms are plain, food was terrible and the nurse was rude. Very understaffed. Nurse said she has a 4 hour time frame to get to 18 patients so it is hours before you get checked on. My Dad was served food with no drink at times. He missed 2 Doctors appointments, first one just didn't bother to take him, second one said they were lost and took him back to their Facility but the truth was they took him to UC Hospital and they just sat in the vehicle which he was supposed to go to Fairfield behind Mercy. We took him out a day early which wasn't soon enough and the nurse had the nerve to tell us how important it was to get him to the Doctor which they were incompetent to do. The rehab staff were super nice but the Head Nurse has an attitude. Someone fell across from my Dad's room and my Mom had to find someone to help or else they would have laid there for hours. Thank goodness my Mom heard it. I advise you to not take your loved ones here if you want them properly cared for. The place smells like mildew as soon as you walk in. We witness another lady that they took downstairs in her wheelchair still sitting in the same spot when we left asleep. They left her there all day. This place really needs looked in to. They should not be caring for people.

I toured Majestic Care of Cedar Village Assisted Living. It was very well structured. The rooms were very nice. It was open. The lobby and the entryways were very nice. The staff was very helpful. It was very well-built and ornate. I mean, the decorations and everything. The room size was good. The private rooms were laid out very nicely. The atmosphere was very inviting.

My friend lives in Majestic Care of Cedar Village Assisted Living and from what I saw I thought it could be cleaner. They needed to run the vacuum. The staff was very nice. They had bingo.

I thought Majestic Care of Cedar Village Assisted Living was very nice. I like them. The rehab seemed quite good. The staff members were nice and attentive. They're very knowledgeable and caring. The rooms were lovely. Upkeep was very good. They have outdoor spacious and they're very nice. Very nice patios. Everything was nice. That's a neat little community, and I like that. My mother-in-law probably would have stayed there if they would have had availability for her.

My mother will be moving into Majestic Care of Cedar Village Assisted Living. We chose them because it was a well-kept facility and we kind of had an instant connection with the staff. When we took the tour, we were impressed with how they handled the tour and their communication level. The rooms were brand new. They had done some recent remodeling and moved people into newer rooms. They're very clean. The semi-private rooms were not like the old hospital rooms. The semi-private room still offers some value versus a private room, but it's more affordable. I like the layout of the room and it has a window. We saw a schedule of events, but we didn't participate. The connection was what sealed the deal or really made us feel comfortable. The facilities were top-notch.

My father-in-law has moved to Majestic Care of Cedar Village Assisted Living. The staff there had been nothing but helpful. They've got a schedule of activities. The facility is very nice, it's not the newest but there's nothing wrong with it. It's located near everything, it's a built-up suburb in Cincinnati. My father-in-law's bedroom is large enough.

We chose Cedar Village for my mom and dad because of the combination of all facilities. They have retirement, assisted, and long-term care. My dad was there for rehabilitation and we're in the process of moving my mother now. My dad has been there for 30 days. I give them a 5 because of the care and the consideration that the staff there have. I took a tour before I decide on that one, and the staff and the facilities are top-notch. Dad's not much of an eater, but what I have seen on their menus, as far as the menus are concerned, I would rate it a five. As far as dad's eating, I would have to say a three. They have all kinds of activities. Dad was there for his first week during Rosh Hashanah and they had services for the folks of the Jewish faith. Yesterday, when we were up there, they had a little concert band that was playing for the residents. They have bingo and cards, and they bring people in. I looked at three other places and from the staff, the facilities, and the activities, I would rate it above any that I wound up seeing. It is definitely within the financial range. There was one instance, though, as far as financial that was a little disturbing, but it's what everybody is having to pay. A friend recommended it and I went over to see it. I also talked to the physicians about it and that's one place that they were all sending patients to.

Cedar Village is a good place, and we chose it for mom. Their grounds looked nice, and their food is good. The staff are nice and caring people, but they don’t follow through in what they do. They also need to improve on their procedures.

The facilities there are great. My grandmother has developed Alzheimers, and had to be put in the home. She seems to be happy there. The staff are always kind and friendly when I go to visit. The bathrooms are kept neat and tidy as well. One thing I like about Cedar Village is that they have activities for the residents. Last weekend, my grandmother participated in karaoke. They also have frequent bingo games. So far I do not have any problems with the Staff or facilities. My only concern is that the residents might wander out of the complex and into the streets, as the gate is always open. The fitness center is great for the younger residents. It is not used that often, but all the equipment is safe and kept in tip-top condition. There are also trainers there to assist the elderly or impaired that might be working out. Their laundry and housekeeping services are good as well; they have same-day pick up and delivery right to your room. Overall, I am very pleased with Cedar Village.

My father spent months at Cedar Village recovering from months in the hospital after developing septsis after chemo. The care there was warm and personal. My father got loads of attention. We were never worried that he would be left alone or neglected. The rehab program there was challenging but he really enjoyed it and the people involved in it. My in laws are volunteers there as well. It is both a rehab facility and a reirement community.
