"Celebration Villa of Highland Crossing was a very nice facility. It was just too big for me. The staff and the people I spoke to were great. It was just too spread out for me. The apartments were nice. They had a library, a fitness room, and a lot of community events. It was nice. It was just not for me."

"I toured the Celebration Villa of Summit Hills. I like that it's convenient for my children. I like the dining room. I like the people that I met, they are wonderful caregivers. I like the size of the room. I like the location. The cleanliness was great and they took good care of it. Everybody was very friendly and nice."

"Stay away from this facility! Staff is lazy, untrained and uncaring. Residents hygiene is not attended to, laundry is rarely done and any request is ignored. Staff is not responsive and is full of excuses. I am very frustrated with this facility."

"My aunt has moved into Ohio Living Llanfair. I was there before she moved in. They have two independent living senior apartment complexes. The apartment is a nice one-bedroom-one-bath. She has a walk-in closet in her apartment complex. It also has a storage bin down the hall. It has a patio, which is what puts them ahead of the other places. It's a nice-sized patio. The staff were friendly and nice. They have bingo and card playing. They have a salon that does your nails and hair. They take them to the bank and grocery stores and other things. They told us that they hook up with another senior facility not far from them, and they do a lot of outdoor activities together. The one thing that I liked about them, when she was signing the contract, they told us that they would assign a mentor for her. So when she moved in, it was one of the residents that live there that walked with her the first week and showed her the facility. She didn't walk down to meals by herself and she didn't walk anything by herself. They actually knocked on the door, talked with her, walked her to places, and went to things together so that she wasn't like the new kid on the block that didn't know anything and nobody. So that was the nice part that they did."

"My parents moved here about a month ago. We chose it because it's a referral and pretty much kind of the only one that had something available. It's a very clean and very nice place. They've been there a month, so they've been dealing with a lot of doctor's appointments. I can't say that they've settled down enough to do any activities. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. They are very caring and very thorough. They have a good variety of food. They have good cooks and good servers."

"I visited The Kenwood by Senior Star. It's nice. The only problem is, it's not as close to us, and that's the only reason my mother is not there. The layout was nice. It was all on one floor. The people seemed friendly. The rooms seemed nice. Coming in, it wasn't like they were closed in a dungeon or anything. So, that was nice. And there were single rooms, which was nice. There was a courtyard. The staff was nice, and she answered all the questions."

"The Wellington was a very nice facility, very nice dining area, and a lot of family interaction, but they didn’t have the staff ratio that I like in a memory care. There weren’t a lot of places for my mom to walk; my mom likes to walk. "

"I went to Legacy Living Florence. It was a beautiful facility. It was beyond anything that I had expected. I loved it. I think my parents would love it when they're ready to move in. It's clean and organized. It was just a beautiful area. And, the people were great, too. Overall, it was a great experience visiting. They had a two-bedroom. They're like townhomes, four in a row. And some of them had basements and some of them did not. The only drawback I had with the apartments in the main building was that they had to go down and take their laundry down the hall to the laundry room to do the laundry. They could not have a washer and dryer hookup in their rooms, but in the outer buildings, I guess they call them townhomes, they come with washers and dryers in them. But other than that, it was very nice. I noticed when I was there that they were taking the memory care patients out on a trip, which I thought was pretty neat to see. I just happened to see that they have a lot of memories there. They treat their veterans. They have a veteran wall, that of people that live there and show which branch they're in. When they were in, they had a nice movie theater, game room, and activity center. Overall, it just looked like a very pleasant place to live. They have all the rooms on the inside and walk out to a courtyard. It looks like there's a church there. The chapel is built on the inside of the courtyard, and it lifts me to see that there. I know my parents would love that. It was just a nice place."

"My brother is staying at Blue Rock Senior Living. There are very few residents there. My brother said the food is just tolerable. He says sometimes it's not that good, but he gets plenty of food. The room is very small, but he's making the best of it. I think they keep it very clean. The TV system that they have is Roku, so my brother cannot watch any Reds or Bengals games on his TV, and that's probably the biggest improvement they could make. There's one lady there who's been very helpful to him. She helped him set up his computer and other things. They do my brother's laundry once a week. They clean his room once a week. They have a stairlift, but it's very slow. Their courtyard and patio are very good. They have a very small library, so my brother goes to the public library."

"We were unable to go into the memory care area of Traditions at Camargo. They were a little bit more strict about that, so we just saw the main lobby and went into a private office. We saw the lobby and one of the communal dining areas. Because of COVID, they're limiting the amount of areas that you can see, and so we weren't able to tour the full facility. We just met with one of the people there. They were helpful. The facility is brand new, so everything is very nice. The amenities were pretty much the same as all the other places that we have looked at. It was comparable to anything we would compare it to."

"My husband and I are in StoryPoint Union. Everybody has been extremely nice and attentive to us. We just had an anniversary and they gave us flowers and a cake. They have very good entertainment. I have only been here two months, so I'm not familiar with all of them, but they keep you very busy. My husband and I have two meals a day, lunch and dinner, and it's free. It goes along with our contract. They do transportation within a 15-mile radius and it's very useful. We've used it two or three times already and it is no charge and the person that takes us around is a very nice person. The staff is marvelous. They have some delicious meals, and they have teenage children waiting on us and they are so accommodating that it's a pleasure to eat here. I haven't encountered anyone who is not to our liking. The building is very clean and very accommodating. They have singers that come in. Miss Kentucky was here and she sang and they have a gentleman who works here who has a beautiful voice. They have different games, nickels, bingo, Pokeno, card games, crafts, painting rocks, and movies. You're well taken care of in that field. They have an outside courtyard. I definitely think it's worth it. We feel very comfortable here. We have an apartment and it is quiet. There's no outside noise that will cause you, for instance, not to sleep or something, and it's run very efficiently."

"My mom stayed at Northgate Park for a month. I really thought the place was lovely and I thought it was a great place for my mom while she heals, but she did not. I went and looked around the property, the outside of the property is really nicely kept. The way it's set up is that every room has access to the outside, so you don't have to go inside the community to get to any room, you can just go in through the outside. And inside looked fine too, it's not like super modern but it's very clean and very inviting. All the people that we've dealt with were very lovely, it's all very easy and user-friendly."

"The Village at Eastgate has been very cooperative. It seems the place that I'm probably going to go to. I liked the layout. The rooms and the apartments were adequate. They weren't overly large, but they were adequate. The activities that they offer were exactly what I was looking for. Like they go out to lunch, games, exercise, religious meetings, and things like that. They have church there twice on Sunday, which was what I was looking for. I do not have to go out of the building unless I want to. Everything is compact. The staff was very cooperative, and it was just a very nice experience. I'm looking for assisted living. I don't need help with everything, but I like the fact that there is someone there if I need help. Everything is right there. There's a nurse on hand and a doctor within minutes if that's needed. There are emergency bells in each room, so if I fall or whatever, I can get help there. They have studios up to two-bedroom-two-baths. And I would be able to keep my car, so I can drive, too."

"Provision Living at West Clermont was very nice and clean. The individual that gave me the tour was very personable, very helpful, and very concerned. I saw the dining area, but they had scheduled times for eating. The apartment had a refrigerator, but it did not have a microwave. They had laundry facilities. The staff was very good and very professional, and they made sure that they covered all the bases with me. I saw some of the residents in their apartments watching television, and a few of them were walking around. Some were getting some exercise and interacting with the staff."

"We toured the independent living community of The Summit of Blue Ash, and our experience was good. They were nice and informative. The rooms are a little smaller than we expected, and we didn't like that it was too much of a hotel atmosphere for us. Other than that, the facility was clean, and the person who gave the tour was very good. We liked everything about it except the rooms. They had everything you could want. They had a pool, a game room, an exercise room, and an outside patio. It was all good. It's probably worth the money, but it's just a little higher than we can afford."

"I toured Sonesta Apartment Homes. If you're looking for something that's fully furnished, it's okay. It's good, but I wasn't looking for something that was fully furnished. Then the cost per month was too high. The manager was good, the only one that I ever contacted. She was helpful. The facility was good. It was pretty clean."
