Our Dad moved to Storypoint after our Mom passed away suddenly at the beginning of the year and my sister and I decided that he could not live alone in the condo he and our Mom had been living in. We were looking for an independent living facility that would allow him the independence of having his own apartment, but including meals and activities and in a pretty setting with nice outdoor space. Our Dad had a wonderful chapter at Storypoint. The leadership is excellent and LeBaron the GM, and Brandi the Assistance GM were super kind and helpful, both as we were considering Storypoint, moving our Dad in, and throughout his stay. The rest of the staff was also great. The facility was clean, and our Dad liked the food and meeting other residents. Unfortunately, after about 6 months our Dad’s health declined, so we needed to move him into an Assisted Living Facility. However, I would give Storypoint high marks for his entire stay there and would highly recommend it for people looking for a great independent living facility for their parents or relatives.

StoryPoint Cincinnati is a wonderful facility but there are 200-plus residents. It's very big. It takes a lot of walking to get from one area to another. And for my cousin, that would not be a good place for her. The rooms were nicely appointed. The people were very nice. It's the closest one to me, so it would have been nice. The rooms are small, and it is just beautiful. They have a lot of life. They have bird feeders, duck ponds, koi, and a little bridge wandering through it, so it's really pretty. But for the size of the community, it would not work. If my husband and I were choosing a place to stay, that's probably where we might go. It's just a lovely place, but just not for my cousin.

The rooms are very nice and clean and the food is also very good. My wife and I have tried it ourselves. And the grounds are awesome. The activities are abundant. But here's what really sets story point apart: It is truly a family atmosphere. Residents can connect with others, whether it be staff, or other residents whenever they feel the need. It is clear to me that this family atmosphere starts with the general manager LaBaron. It filters down to his staff and is obviously felt by the residents. We found this place to be more than we were looking for. We feel so fortunate.

Rooms are fine. Food is a little better, tastier, inviting but there’s much room for improvement. The staff is very good, reliable and kind but overworked, pulled thin.

The staff at StoryPoint is exceptional. It was such a difficult decision for Mom to leave her home, but Tricia and the staff were so caring in finding a solution that would meet the needs of Mom and our family. I know she is safe and cared for at StoryPoint. I have yet to meet a person who is not kind and patient, from the director, LaBaron, to the front desk personnel, Joyce, and many others who have all become part of our family. Her doctor recommended that she be in a place where social interaction is stressed. And it is at StoryPoint. Mom and the residents love Steve's agenda of activities and the fun bantering with Steve. Gary, their van driver, always has a kind word to share. Mom loves to eat, so usually she catches all three daily meals! She loves visiting with the friends she has made there. We join her occasionally and the food is very good and served in a restaurant fashion with menus. Our family is so grateful that StoryPoint is available and so close to our home.

My dad was 88 when he had a stroke and moved in to the New England Club (now StoryPoint), and we knew this was the place for him! With the convenience of the exercise room for physical therapy, the meals, the various activity choices - including trivia, group crossword puzzles, bingo and his favorite Friday night movie night, he had plenty to do. The shop was convenient and also has a salon! They also had activities for Reds Opening day and the viewing of the eclipse and many other special events. He made many friends there, and the staff was exceptional. Providing local transportation was a plus as well - Gary was very caring when transporting my dad. He lived in the assisted living wing, with the help of the Visiting Angels, who provided exceptional care to his needs. All the staff were incredible, LaBaron (General Manager) was a joy to work with along with Steve (Activities Director). I would not hesitate for having your loved one live at StoryPoint.

I toured StoryPoint Cincinnati. What I like about it is they serve three meals a day, and I have a lot of activities going on. They have a sliding door. I can go outside and take my dog and let them walk around. I've only met a couple of people and they were nice. Their facility is nice and clean, and all that kind of stuff.

The staff seemed very caring. The studio that I looked at had the combination that my uncle needed as far as the baths and the walk-in shower. It was a little big so anyone down the hall would probably need something (like a wheelchair) to get back and forth because it is a decent walk for people. Other than that, everything was really nice and it seemed quite open. Trish and Marianne were both wonderful. They explained everything to me. It was a nice, clean facility with nice views from their balconies or the porches. They showed me the library, the exercise room, the theater, the chapel, and a dining area where you can reserve for family members to come and have a meal together.

My dad moved here. It is very clean, very resort-like, and the people seemed to be pretty caring. They have everything that my father would like, including three meals a day. He likes the food, they do activities, and they have an activities room. They only offer a little kitchenette sink, they do not have appliances, because they serve three meals a day. So they don't need all the appliances.

Our visit was good. I enjoyed it. It was just a little bit too big, and there were too many people for my parents. The rooms they have are smaller than what my parents have now, but it was nice. It had one-and-a-half baths and two bedrooms. The person who gave us the tour was very nice and very knowledgeable, and she called me back a couple of times after the visit.

I visited here. The tour was great, they were very informative, answered all my questions, showed me the entire place, and my dad felt comfortable there. The staff was very helpful, they even gave us an apple pie. From the tour it looked like he would have everything he could need in there.

It was very nice. The staff was very nice, and the dining area was great and looked nice. The room was small, but OK. They had activities for their residents, plus a theater and a library. It was really nice. You could go behind the property.

It seemed to be older, but it was still pretty nice, and it was in a pretty good area. The rooms were pretty decent. I think they have an exercise room. The staff who showed me around was nice. They invited me a couple of times for veteran’s dinner, but I never made it there yet for that.
