I've been here in StoryPoint Union for almost a year now. It's independent living, basically, and you know that there's always somebody to take care of you if you need them. They serve three meals a day and the food is very good. My apartment has a refrigerator, dishwasher, and washer and dryer. The only thing I don't have is a microwave. They have several outdoor spaces with tables, chairs, and umbrellas. The staff is wonderful. They're usually pretty good about cleaning up anything that needs to be cleaned up. There are activities and entertainment all the time. They usually bring in some bands or a choir or an individual soloist to do things and we have our own wonderful singer. He's got a beautiful voice and that would be Clinton. The activities are things that interest most of the people in here, whether they be games or activities that make flowers. They've done so much. They have a gym with a PT and an OT. They have four machines, treadmill, and a couple of elliptical bikes. The PTs and OTs are great. They will take you to your doctors or to whatever you have to do within 18 miles. They have a shuttle. If you have to sell your home as a senior and move in to something that accommodates all your needs this would be it.

I like that StoryPoint Union is convenient. We have Kroger in walking distance and we've got new restaurants that are just opening up across the street. The staff go out of their way to help you with anything. They are very pleasant and happy most of the time. We all have our down days, but they've been super good to me. This is my third apartment here. My first apartment was nice except that I looked at the air-conditioning unit. My husband got so bad. So we went down to the EL section, and there my apartment was even bigger. I liked that a whole lot. I really didn't want to move from it, but I came back up to independent living. One, it's cheaper and two, it is where all my friends are. The activities are out of this world. We just happen to have a guy that is a singer, and we love to hear him sing. He's always smiling and doing stuff. We're fortunate enough to have him. The rest of the staff is just as helpful, but he goes over and beyond and everybody loves him. We have crafts and exercises in the morning. It's very pleasant here. Even the people that are staying here, they're fun to be around. Just occasionally once in a while, somebody doesn't rub you the right way, but I've learned to either just stay away from them or try to get to know them more. I don't care for the food. I'm a picky eater.

My husband and I are in StoryPoint Union. Everybody has been extremely nice and attentive to us. We just had an anniversary and they gave us flowers and a cake. They have very good entertainment. I have only been here two months, so I'm not familiar with all of them, but they keep you very busy. My husband and I have two meals a day, lunch and dinner, and it's free. It goes along with our contract. They do transportation within a 15-mile radius and it's very useful. We've used it two or three times already and it is no charge and the person that takes us around is a very nice person. The staff is marvelous. They have some delicious meals, and they have teenage children waiting on us and they are so accommodating that it's a pleasure to eat here. I haven't encountered anyone who is not to our liking. The building is very clean and very accommodating. They have singers that come in. Miss Kentucky was here and she sang and they have a gentleman who works here who has a beautiful voice. They have different games, nickels, bingo, Pokeno, card games, crafts, painting rocks, and movies. You're well taken care of in that field. They have an outside courtyard. I definitely think it's worth it. We feel very comfortable here. We have an apartment and it is quiet. There's no outside noise that will cause you, for instance, not to sleep or something, and it's run very efficiently.

StoryPoint Union is nice, the people are friendly, and it's easy to get in and out. I still drive, so I'm available to do that. I have the three meals a day. The apartment was clean when I moved in. It has a microwave, a toaster and a coffeemaker. The staff is very friendly. The food is good. There have been a few things on the menu that I have to take from Google to see if I can eat it or not. They have several games, bingo and all that kind of stuff, but I very seldom go because I've got a little doggy. We don't have a pool. We've got workout rooms and a nice courtyard where we have the cookouts and certain kind of games they play out there. We've got a lake here, but they haven't got a pathway down to it. They've been talking about that, so we could go down to it in safety.

Mom is in StoryPoint Union. They have a lot of activities. They keep them as busy as they want to be. They interact with them. They know everybody's name. The food is delicious. There's nothing there that I don't like. It's a really, really great place. They provide three meals a day. They've painted wine glasses and flower pots and yesterday, they did rock painting. They also have regular painting and drawing classes. They have bingo, Pokeno, karaoke, chair yoga, and they teach certain line dances. They have a walking group that goes outside and walks around the building or over to Kroger. They have trivia and just tons of things. The staff is above and beyond in every way. The paint is nice, the decor is nice, and it has tablecloths on the tables. I can't say a bad thing about them. The activities are readily available. They have started doing a couple of things, but up until like maybe four months ago, they did not have activities after dinner. I can understand it because the majority of the older population goes to bed at 7:30 or 8:00. After dinner, there really wasn't time to do anything, but there are some of them that stay up later. So now they've started doing some games. There were like eight guys the other night playing poker and another group of people in the cafe playing another game.

I like StoryPoint Union because of all the different people that live here, the excursions that they take, the community activities like bingo, and different things like that. They also have very good occupational and physical therapists, but they are contractors. The staff really makes you feel at home. They're very knowledgeable and very friendly, and if you have anything you needed, they go out of the way and make sure you get it. I've got a first floor, one-bedroom apartment, and it's very spacious for what I need. It's got a kitchen, refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. They come in and do housecleaning every other week. They do laundry. If you have any problem, they attend to it as quickly as they can. It's very peaceful here. It's nice and quiet. It has a nice courtyard and things of that nature. They have the bistro, an activity room that has basketball, and a Pacman machine. They have yoga classes in the morning and things to keep you active all the time. There's always something going on. The location is very good, especially in Union now, they're building up a lot. There's a lot of restaurants you can go to. Kroger is right next door. If you got a nice scooter, you can go to a lot of these places. The meals are great. At dinnertime, if you don't prefer what's on the menu that night, you can always get chicken fingers, egg salad, sandwiches, ham and cheese, and cheeseburgers and fries. You're not stuck with just what's on the menu. Visually, it's very nice. I had somebody come pick me up and they said it looked like a great grand hotel. It's so meticulously kept. The grounds are kept nice and the building and the aesthetics are really nice. Value for money is very good.

StoryPoint Union is clean and up-to-date. The facility is very nice and we're kind of enjoying it here. We run into a couple of people we know, so it's almost like a family gathering. The staff all seems very friendly and willing to help. It's amazing to me. We've got a two-bedroom, a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, which relieves me of some duties. It's very nice and homey. When we first moved in, we went into a one-bedroom. When one opened up, we came to the two-bedroom. The employees, for some amazing reason, are able to remember everybody's name. I enjoy going to meals here. Every meal is different and they are always very tasty. We can still get three meals a day. The food is wonderful. It's close to everything and we still get in the car and go someplace if we need to. They asked me and I volunteered to teach people how to use a fly rod. There are bingo and other activities, and there's a band coming in. Value for money is very good.

I'm in StoryPoint Union. I like everything. The appliances were there when I moved in. It had a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal, stove, and all the cabinets. The staff couldn't get any better. They're great. I get three good meals a day. They've got very good chefs. They got maybe four to five activities a week. There are card games, bingo, road trips, they bring in people through musicals, and just a bunch of different stuff. It's worth every penny. They got a patio, two courtyards and a picnic area. They got a bus. You just couldn't beat it. I went to five different places and this is the best one I had.

I am a resident of StoryPoint Union. I pretty much like everything about it. It's very nice. I love my room, the facility, and the people that work here, mostly. I met a lot of new friends. There's plenty of stuff to do constantly. It's better than living by yourself. There's nothing not to like. The only appliance that wasn't there was a microwave. There's a refrigerator and a dishwasher, and then the washer and dryer. Dinner is the main and only meal, though there is lunch available and you can get room service at any time if you can't get out for any particular reason. We have, besides bingo and Pokeno, various other games that you can do sometimes at your leisure, sometimes in a formal setting. Also, we have trips out of here, like either for lunch or like we're going to see the Underground Railroad on Thursday. Next week, we're going to the Holocaust Museum. There's constantly something going. On Fridays, we have a social hour and we'll have musical entertainment. We are fortunate that our social director also is a singer and he is outstanding. He does performances for us and he's awesome. We had a 20-men choir come in from one of the areas around here. They were excellent. We've had individual singing groups of various sorts. It's all very good. The food is very good and I have food allergies so it makes it more difficult for me. The nice thing about here is if you can't or don't like anything on the menu, you can order things off the menu because there's a bistro here which is basically sandwiches and different things. My favorite thing here is chicken salad; it's wonderful. You can have food brought to your room, like when my grandson comes, because it's a little crowded for dinner down here and he's a picky eater. I usually order something to be delivered at 5:00 or whatever time and then we eat it upstairs. They're very accommodating. They have hamburgers, hotdogs, French fries, and BLTs. There are lots of stuff. During the day, there's an area here out in the common area where you can get doughnut. They have a special doughnut and coffee truck that comes once a week. They're really good here about getting stuff in. I can invite my family. They had a Grandparents' brunch. It was delicious. They're always cleaning something or touching up something if necessary. It's a nice more contemporary building, so it's open and has beautiful rooms. They do really well too about decorating for the holidays. They put up a big three-story Christmas tree in an atrium area and it's just gorgeous. They're very meticulous about it all. I have a friend that went into a facility which is smaller than this one and I think she pays more than I do and is getting less. She doesn't have all the stuff that we have here.

I am a resident of StoryPoint Union with my husband who has macular degeneration. I have several close friends that have also come here and we have a good time together. We do things and play all kinds of games together or we get to have dinner together. All of us seem to be pretty happy here. We get one evening meal a day. We could have more if we wanted, but we enjoy having our breakfast and lunch just whenever and whatever. We go out to lunch with our family a lot and just have the evening meal here and enjoy that. I have a full kitchen, a refrigerator, a stove, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a refrigerator. I don't do much cooking because I don't have to. Our room opens up to the patio room that is enclosed with flower carts, grass and tables with umbrellas. We could sit out there all the time if we wanted. They provide transportation twice a week. I haven't had to use them yet, but I know they're there and I can sign up for them. The staff, Peggy, Clinton and Holly, are five points. They have exercise classes, an advanced and a slower type, and that's good. They have art for a lot of women. They do many beautiful things. I'm paying $5,500 a month and I think that's pretty high, but it works out well. I don't find anything that I'm truly unhappy with. I can't complain about how much I'm spending. It's very clean and well taken care of. It's a wonderful place that we have here in Union.

My husband and I are in StoryPoint Union. What I like most are the friendliness and our activities and I think I got the prime apartment so I love my apartment. I have the one with the biggest balcony. It's above the theater and it's right at the entrance. We go on numerous trips. We recently just did a riverboat cruise on BB riverboats and then we went and sponsored a school class and made a trip to London, Kentucky to visit the school kids that we worked and had a fundraiser for. We have music multiple times a week that we have musicians in and if we don't have a musician in, we have karaoke in. There's a glee club and a book club. We have exercise classes. We stay busy. We have food demonstrations and all sorts of interests. We have card groups. Tonight, we're playing bunco and my husband goes and plays dime poker. I go and play bunco and it starts in the morning and goes all day if you wish to stay active. When we came here, people were smiling. At other places we visited, you didn't see people out or the people you did see out set off by themselves and seemed unhappy. They had a library. We were both readers, so the library was key for us. We kind of feel like family.

I'm a current resident StoryPoint Union and I have been here for four years. I like the privacy and I like the independent part of the living. It gives me an opportunity to do some of the hobbies that I like to participate in. My number one hobby is painting. I paint most every day in the art room, which is a great facility. I've been to other StoryPoints, and this StoryPoint particularly has a better library than the other ones that I see. They have a checkout system very much like you have at a regular library, and it's done very professionally. I have a one-bedroom apartment. When my wife and I first came four years ago, she had Parkinson's, the room was ample enough and she stayed with me until the very end here at StoryPoint. I have very positive reaction to the enhanced part of the living. Although I'm in the independent living, I did use partially at the very end some additional help to help me lift my wife in and out of bed. Independent living has been great, but also as an ancillary, the EL was always available in the event that I needed them. My interaction with the staff is very good and very positive in so far as the director. The director is an excellent person, has good personal relationship skills, and always available for any needs that we may have. We have excellent food and the chef is very amenable to any new plate that you might suggest and she is more than willing to place it on the menu. The cleanliness of the building is very good too. I'm very happy. They have many activities for you to participate. They have a cocktail three to four times a week in the afternoon prior to dinner. We have excellent and professional entertainers that come. I always look forward to that. In addition, they had a whole summer concert series of concerts of bringing in various groups. We're constantly having good entertainment as well. Value for money is excellent.

My husband and I are residents of StoryPoint Union. What I like most are the friendly people around us every day, everywhere we go. We like the social environment here. Everybody is very accommodating. We were very fortunate to get a third-floor corner apartment with a lovely view. We have bingo like everybody else, but we have a very talented and resourceful entertainment director and we have concerts in the evening and on the weekend. Sometimes, we'll have a concert in our bistro with a social gathering and it's all genres of entertainment. It is so fun here. There is always something to do. Cardio drumming is my favorite activity. We go on excursions and it's open to the community to make suggestions where we would like to visit and they usually make it happen for us and it's always a really nice time. With our rent, we get dinner and we are on our own for breakfast and lunch. There's a library and an art room where we do crafts. There's physical therapy available here if you want it or use the equipment as a gym. There's a courtyard where we have grill outs and everybody has a great time and gets together. The cafe is nice. We love to walk over to Kroger and come back through the cafe and have a cup of coffee and visit with our neighbors quite often. We searched many communities and different living opportunities and this is the best place for us. If we want additional meals, we can get those at an extra cost. They do their best to be perfect for us. Even if it's not their job, maybe if you've got a question or something, they'll help. When we came here, everybody said hello and they were just welcoming.

What an amazing place!! My 75 year old mother moved in about ago. The transition was seamless. Many of the staff that are directors of their departments stopped by to let mom know what their services are. All of the staff are so kind and knowledgeable!! The dining areas are so fun!! The food is top notch!! I have even joined my mom for a couple meals. I can attest that the food is very good!! Everyone there has made mom feel so welcome and at home!! She has met new friends and participated in activities. She and her cat Lucy have settled in and are very happy!! Brook and Jennifer made the transition process so convenient.

Every staff member that I have met has been gracious and generous with offers of help. There are a wide variety of activities available, including several excursion opportunities each month. Upon entering the dining room for dinner, it feels like walking into an upscale restaurant. Residents can choose from several menu items each evening and the food is excellent! My mom often says that living a Storypoint is a lot like being on vacation!

StoryPoint Union is very nice, but the price is pretty steep for me. The food was good. Everything was just really nice. The facility was clean. The people there seemed to be happy. The tour was excellent. The staff answered all our questions and explained everything to us. It was very thorough. If I could get the price down a little bit, I would probably go in there whenever the time came.

My mom moved to Storypoint in Union, KY in March of 2023. We lost my dad and brother in 2020 and we didn’t want her to live on her own but she still wanted her independence. She was nervous at first being the first time living on her own with no family with her. She was getting depressed and as much as my siblings and I try to go and stay with her she was still lonely and sad. When she first went to Story Point she didn’t want to go downstairs or anything. With the help from the staff she started to go down and eat dinner. They found her a table to sit with and she made friends. She now has more friends then I do and goes and do all different kinds of activities like bingo, arts, movies, book clubs and a lot more. I have my mom back and I thank Story Point for it. If you’re looking for a place for your parent to move to where they will be happy, safe and make friends StoryPoint is your place!! The rooms are spacious, and clean. They can have a 1 bedroom or 2 bedroom Apt. I like that I can still go and stay on night with my mom once every two weeks.

My mother moved to StoryPoint Union three we ago and the transition has been very smooth. My mother was transitioning from a similar facility in another state. StoryPoint Union is a beautiful and welcoming facility. The team is warm, welcoming and very competent. Leadership is also welcoming and visible throughout the facility. The innovative structure at StoryPoint Union allows my mother great independence plus help with a few items that improves her quality of life. The numerous activities offered are engaging. The dining is delicious. I highly recommend StoryPoint Union.

SP Union is warm and cozy! It’s clean! Residents get personal attention from the staff…. It has a fantastic location it’s close to grocery / salon/ pet store/ restaurants! You can’t beat the location and residents can remain independent by being able to walk places! The dining room staff is wonderful… they hire high schoolers to serve the residents. Residents love getting to know these young individuals! The chefs r fantastic providing residents w a variety of choices. They also do special events on a weekly basis and provide outstanding cuisine ….. it’s fancy! My parents enjoy the happy hours and the musicians they bring in on a weekly basis. Field trips r also an options for residents! The best part of SP is the staff/ ppl… they r caring and attentive to the residents… I have oeace of mind w my parents living at SP!

Right from the start, we were impressed with StoryPoint. We had visited and toured many other local facilities, but we weren't comfortable with Mom living in any of them until we got to StoryPoint. The rooms are spacious and well organized, and with Mom's personal furnishings in place, it felt like home right away. Mom comments on how beautiful and clean everything is. She enjoys going to dinner with her new friends each evening, and finds the food to be delicious and nutritious. After dinner, they relax together by chatting or listening to music. I'm hoping that in the near future she will enjoy many of the other activities that range from church services to luaus! Mom's positive attitude toward this transition in life can be attributed to the welcoming environment created by the friendly, reliable, and forward thinking staff at StoryPoint. This local treasure is truly appreciated!

My parents stayed at StoryPoint Union. It's independent and enhanced living. Our overall experience was very poor. It's beautiful. It's like a crisp, red, shiny apple, but you get your parents in there and it's rotten to the core. When I interviewed this place, my mom had just had a stroke, and they assured me they could care for her, they could do whatever I needed done, and then I got her in here and it was just not true. They did their best, but they had no one in there qualified to really care for my mom. They misled me. They told me, "We're going to put her in the independent area and we could handle her as an enhanced member of our community, taking care of her for medication needs, blood pressure checks, and diabetes checks." Once I got her in there, they never had people trained. They never had enough staff. They were always doing their best, but their best was not even close to doing their best because they didn't have enough people to do it and/or they weren't trained to do it. Their problem is they don't have the right licensing to say they can care for an elderly person. They can't even put eyedrops in their eyes. I'm just very unhappy with them numerous times, especially holidays. No one would show up and take care of my parents. They just were on their own. They shut down pretty much any really good food options. They had food delivered to the doors that wasn't enough to feed two people. I'm very unhappy with it. The place is actually falling apart right at the moment. There's a lot of people moving out. There are different parts of the staffing. The director, I would give her a five. She's doing the best that she can, but the corporate people aren't supporting her needs. In the four months they had two different sous-chefs. They let one go and had another one come in, and it was really bad with the second one. The inconsistent care was the worst part of my experience with StoryPoint.

Storypoint Union is like a second home to our family. The accomodations are beautiful, the cuisine first class and the entertainment fun for all chapters in life! But the very best part that we value is the people. The staff is so dedicated and professional yet personal at the same time. We get weekly updates from the Executive Director and can see photos on social media. Love, dignity and joy served daily! We are so grateful.

Once you enter the facility you immediately feel the warm welcome all around you. The decor changes with every season, there’s always some kind of activity going on for the residents, everyone is smiling, and it smells amazing. My mother said the food is very good and she appreciates the staff that take care of her and the facility so well. Would 10 out of 10 recommend! Apartments are very nice and spacious. The Bistro area with regular “Happy Hours” and entertainment is a big hit for everyone! Lots of opportunities for family to come and be involved in the activities too.

My dad searched for the senior living facility on his own then invited me to validate his first choice. I agreed. First, StoryPoint is affordable, even on a fixed income. The apartments are just big enough, kitchen is nicely equipped and storage is good too. Love that there is an outdoor balcony which other places did not provide. Staff is very knowledgeable, kind and attentive. My dad loves the food and the details provided with dinner such as fresh linens and everything served in courses. Would recommend StoryPointe to anyone.

The rooms are nice size and gives the resident an at home feeling. The staff is top notch. The love and concern for their residents is always first. Anytime I visit my dad I get greeted with a smile and get updates about any issues he might have or had. The activity’s offered at Storypoint are varied and well thought out. If for some reason a resident doesn’t like activities offered the staff makes a huge effort to find out what they would like to do. You can’t ask for more. Bottom line is Storypoint looks out for its residents, treats them like family and makes sure they are happy and have plenty of things to do. I’m very happy we chose Storypoint.!

My mom moved into Story Point at the end of May 2021. She's been there a little less than 2 months, and so far she loves it. Her apartment is beautiful, the food is great, and the location is good. The benefits of bi-weekly house cleaning and laundry services are excellent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, and helped my mom, who is new the area, start to make some friends. She enjoys the activities, both those in the building, and the trips out around the area to sight-see. Michelle, the director truly cares about the residents, and was very helpful in getting my mom settled in. I would recommend Story Point to anyone looking to downsize into an independent living facility.

Story Point living for seniors is one great story for us. We had lived in a new home for 20 years and loved our house and neighborhood. Though my wife and I are both in our eighties, we had no intention of selling our house and significantly downsizing. A friend who lived at the new Story Point in Union, KY, asked us to come and tour the facility. To say we were positively overwhelmed would be an understatement. We loved the staff we met because they seemed to really care. The cleanliness of the whole building was beyond expectation. The menus for dinner we were shown were fantastic. The fact that the chef had worked for several cruise lines made it even better. After our visit, we did a comparison between the yearly cost to live in our house and the cost to live at Story Point. In the long run, the costs were similar. The one difference was a significant decrease in responsibility to live at Story Point. In fact, since we moved into Story Point in November 2020, we have actually saved money because we no longer have all the little unexpected costs of owning a home. As residents in the new Union facility, we have found things to be pretty much as promised. There have been no disappointments in our new home. The staff is great and very caring starting with the front desk to the Executive Director to the head of Food Services. The food tends to be good on a daily basis with several options from which to choose. The cleaning of your apartment every two weeks is a bonus. Also, bed linens and towels are cleaned each week which is very helpful. Since November, I have been able to leave our apartment and work in my office a few miles away. We have been able to travel and to have visits from relatives. I love to exercise and there is good equipment in the building. I have able to complete two virtual half marathons in the area which has been rewarding. The community is very supportive of each other. As part of this, Dotty and I have started a thirty minute, nondenominational worship service on Saturday attended by 16 - 24 people weekly. The main purpose is to discuss issues that seniors are dealing with daily. We are also helping all who attend to work to make Story Point an even more caring community among the residents and to assist the staff in doing this. If you are thinking about a good place to live, come check out Story Point in Union/Kentucky. I believe you will love what you see.

StoryPoint is amazing in just about every way possible. When I first called to get a walk through with my Mom and Sister we had the most at home feeling and welcoming just walking in the doors. We couldn't have asked for a better place for our Mom to live. She is adapting to Senior Living very well, and to see her in pictures participating in the activities is awesome. The staff and food are AMAZING so glad the dinning room in open to family now.

The things necessary to know are what packages are available as far as housekeeping, laundry, meals and healthcare assistance and what is the cost of services. Find out all options prior to move in. My parents have. 2br and 2ba apartment which is very lovely. The kitchen folks go above and beyond in pleasing everyone’s taste. There are many activities the residents can participate in. Many residents have formed friendships that are precious.

From the moment my sisters and I walked in with my mom, we all knew this was the place! Mom is very independent and is 83, and was living alone. My sisters and I are with her a lot, but she was not staying active and doing activities like she used too. We (as siblings) felt it was time. We honestly had been searching for the perfect place for about 2 years. She was on a waiting list at another facility, but I wasn't feeling that this was the place. And StoryPoint opens up!!! Literally several miles from my other sister. So we all scheduled an appointment to just look and talk to them. Mom signed up that day! No joke!! It has taken her a few months to get really adjusted and comfortable, but she is really happy there and what's amazing is that ALL of the employees Literally knows everyone and goes out of there way to say hello and ask if she needs anything or to just chit chat with her!!! Who does that?? StoryPoint does and they 100% truly care about everyone who walks through those doors! This all being said, the look, atmosphere, activities, food, staff, cleanliness, brightness my list goes on and on. I can't say enough wonderful things about StoryPoint. They are now family!

As a family member of a current resident, the one thing that has been the most comforting and priceless is the positive relationships I have formed with the staff. Everyone has been so helpful, encouraging, positive, approachable, and sincere. If you are considering Storypoint for yourself or a loved one, get to know the staff, all of them! They really do have the residents best interests at heart!

Staff is always pleasant and helpful. Communications have been difficult at times, but they are constantly trying to improve. Some activities have been a challenge due to the virus. Hopefully situation will improve soon.

From the son of a resident, StoryPoint Union is the home my mother chose for this stage of her life. At 92 years young, she lost her husband earlier this year. Following that, this horrible Covid virus trapped her in the house that she had shared with him. Isolated and lonely, it’s certainly not the life one would hope for. StoryPoint Union had been under development for many months. In June of 2020 it opened to us. We all looked forward to it but didn’t realize how big the benefit of this facility and the wonderful people that support the residents there would be. It’s been a joy to see my mother find new friendships there as well as recount wonderful stories of the interactions she has with the staff. It really has been a wonderful new chapter for my mother and our family. A final point, we also appreciate the efforts the management and staff have taken to protect our relatives from the ravages of the Corona virus while still finding ways to keep her connected to our family. Good isolation and sanitizing protocols have been very effective and a comfort to all of us in the family. As everyone now knows, the elderly are most at risk from Covid-19 and it is nice to see this is a safe place for her to live in this new world. Thank you to everyone that has made this amazing facility possible.

StoryPoint Union is a warm and welcoming retirement community and no one stays a stranger here for long. My parents definitely feel they made the right choice making their new home at StoryPoint Union .

The enhanced living area offers unlicensed care only and seems expensive. Staff is friendly and encourages the residents to get involved with the offered activities. I’m always greeted with a warm welcome when I sign in to pick up my mother for an appointment. Generously sized apartment

The facilities are all clean and new and fresh. Each apartment is roomy, easily accessible, and designed for safety. All of the staff members make a special effort to make the residents feel welcome and at home. The meals are well rounded and delicious according to my Mom. Laundry room, refuse disposal area, and extra storage area are convenient. There is a library, computers available and cable tv in each apartment. Although a new facility and my Mom is just moving in, the activities director has already been in to meet and assure her she will be contacting her to get her involved in daily activity. We have already been impressed with the efforts to insure a safe environment, particularly during the COVID-19 epidemic. MY Mom is particularly excited to have a full size refrigerator and kitchen, since she still likes to cook some of her own meals. She loves that she is able to have her "fur ball" buddy Spot (her dog) with her. Pet friendly is so important in this age. Having transportation available is also such an added advantage. The location of the facility was also very important to us. It is 4 miles from our home and there is so much retail including groceries, banking and healthcare within amazingly close proximity.

StoryPoint Union has been such a blessing to our family. Our parents feel right at home and are more active than they were before moving. Our mother has stated repeatedly that they should have made the decision to move sooner. We are so grateful for the kindness and support that we ourselves have received. We cannot put into words the peace of mind that comes with our parents living at StoryPoint.
