My father-in-law will be moving into Birchwood Care Center. The facility is fine, it wasn't too big, which is nice. It was relatively clean. The staff are fine, they were nice. The rooms were average. They have a dining room, and they have activities, and it seems pretty standard. They don't do transfers to and from, and they don't do any field trips. Maybe they should do more Community involvement outside of the nursing home, like if they had more people come in or worked on taking the people out, I think that would be helpful. They had an arts and crafts thing going on when I visited.

My wife is a resident of the Birchwood facility. I am the spouse of Margaret D. who means more to me than I can Explain or express. I am so pleased with the care she receives . The room is well cared for even as is the whole facility I have witnessed. As a family member I have had good repour with staff members who are very friendly. Margaret is a people person and likes when staff speaks with her.I am so happy God has led us to this facility and I live just few minutes away.

My husband was at Birchwood Care Center for almost 2 years. I was so glad I found them. The staff is amazing. They are like a family as they all work together to do what is needed. Any issues I ever had they were able to handle it immediately. I guess I can describe it best when my son said "Mom, you found a good place for Dad".

My husband's grandmother is a resident at Birchwood. Every time we go to see her we are always so impressed with how welcoming the staff is. The staff always says hi and is quick to help however they can. Since being at Birchwood, she has met many friends and is eating like a queen! Before we moved her into Birchwood she was super thin and weak but she has perked up and is eating like she should! We are so happy she is in a great place and really enjoying it!
