I visited Sonesta Apartment Homes, and I will be moving to their independent living community. I like the atmosphere, and the people were very friendly. The buildings were very nice, and it's a nice central location. The apartment is excellent. They have a laundry facility and ample parking spaces. They also provide meals.

I would describe Sonesta Apartment Homes as excellent. I was planning to move there before I came here to North Carolina. I thought it was an excellent place. The rooms were very neat and clean. The staff who gave the tour was very professional.

Overall, my tour at Sonesta Apartment Homes was excellent. I was looking for an independent living place for my uncle, and the person who gave the tour was very nice and very helpful in explaining things to me. I didn't really get to see too many of the residents. I'm not sure if they weren't there for the day or not, but she explained to me how people did get-togethers in the club room, have coffee, play cards, and communicate with each other. She was very pleasant and answered any questions that I had. The apartment shown to me was nice, well-kept, and just looked brand new. They didn't have a dining area or a place where I could sample food, but I know that the apartment had a nice little kitchen where there was a full-size stove, refrigerator, and microwave. She also explained that it is fully furnished, including dishes, pots, and pans, so basically all my uncle has to do is just move his clothes and any other knick-knacks he might have. I didn't take a look at their gym, but there was also a pool there. I know my uncle's not going to go to the gym, so there was no point in looking at it. The patio was a little small, but it's not like he needed a big patio. They have a little table and chair, if he wants to go outside and eat breakfast or just enjoy the sunshine.

I toured Sonesta Apartment Homes. If you're looking for something that's fully furnished, it's okay. It's good, but I wasn't looking for something that was fully furnished. Then the cost per month was too high. The manager was good, the only one that I ever contacted. She was helpful. The facility was good. It was pretty clean.
