My family member receives large portions of food that she loves. She has multiple activities a day to engage in. She is treated like family here and is thriving. "My mother-in-law is at Sanders Ridge Health Campus. It's a great place. We've had no problems whatsoever. The facility is clean and new. Everybody is just wonderful. They have restaurant-style dining if you want, but they are bringing it to my mother-in-law's room since she's in rehab. They have game night, movies, bingo, and crafts for them to do if they want. Every so often, they have family night, and we are allowed to come and be with them for dinner. It's just been wonderful. The staff members have been very good. They've taken very good care of her. My mother-in-law calls them quite often. She enjoys the food. She said it was good. It's a beautiful campus. They have services on Sunday for those who want to attend church, so it's very nice."

"My father came to Sunrise Manor for physical therapy to regain strength after a 2 week stay in the hospital and being diagnosed with dementia. He received excellent care and attention by all the staff from front office to nursing care. He went into hospice care and still received continuous care from the staff along with hospice nurses. I highly recommend this facility to anyone searching for physical therapy or also long term care for a loved one."

"I went to Wesley Manor. It's very nice. The nursing home part was small. I like the feeling of it. It didn't smell. That's a problem I have when you go in and you can smell urine and all that. The little girl that took me through knew everybody's name in there. They have very low turnover, too. A lot of nursing homes have a high turnover, so that's why I like Wesley Manor. They showed me where the rooms are in the nursing home care. It's like out in the country. It's very pretty. They have all these trails you can walk. The facility looked nice; I liked it. The staff who gave the tour was very good. She was very helpful. The place was very clean, too."

"My husband is at Glen Ridge Health Campus. We have been very pleased with them. I have even thought of moving over there myself. He's been there long enough now that he knows a lot of the residents, at least the ones in his area. His nurses, one in particular, have been very good with him because sometimes he needs quite a bit of care. I certainly cannot complain about Glen Ridge. They have met our needs, for sure. He's very happy with the meals. I'm very surprised at how many activities he has joined in. They have little activities in the afternoon, and I know they are having a concert today. I think the building is very clean. I've gone in a couple of times when his bed hasn't been made yet, but I guess things go on some days that make some things run a little bit late. The cleaning girl came in yesterday when I was over there, and she ran the vacuum, dusted the furniture, and cleaned the bathroom. They're very expensive, but they all are. And I guess compared to other places, they are comparable. They do go out shopping occasionally, and I know they have taken some of the residents out just for a ride around in the afternoon, particularly when the trees were all pretty before the leaves all fell off."

"My sister is in Regency, and has been there for about a month. It’s very nicely designed, it had a very nice layout, and it was located in a very safe, pleasant area. It had nice, wide walls which made it real homey; instead of clinical. The staff was very pleasant, very cheerful, and seemed to relate to the people who were there. There are good activities, the activity leader is a very lovely, and wise person; really engages them. "

"My brother was at Helmwood Healthcare for rehabilitation. He had some physical disabilities that had to be dealt with that we couldn't do at home, so he was there for three months. Helmwood is very nice. It's very clean and homey. They tried to make everyone feel at home. They had a lot of personal touches. The rooms weren't really large, but they were large enough. Everyone who lived there has some of their own furniture and easy chairs and television. If you needed nursing care, they were able to isolate you with some curtains that would pull out. It was just a very nice, updated facility. The staff was very nice, very pleasant, easy to talk to. They seemed to really care, took the time to know every person individually. They really took a lot of interest in my brother. They do in-house activity every day. They have a church, and they go outside of the facility at least once a week. They've gone bowling, and they've just done a lot of different things. The food was pretty good. The best thing, I think, was the personal care and personal attention that they gave. They have an interest in every individual. He was happy there. "

"We chose Franciscan Health Care Center for my mom. It's clean, and the people are friendly and professional. The staff is very knowledgeable and they do a good job. They serve three meals a day. They have bingo, music chimes, a couple of courtyards, and a porch sitting area."

"My grandmother moved into Jeffersontown Rehabilitation. She was in the hospital and needed to go somewhere, and they were very quick to respond and offer me assistance and paperwork to get done. They just made the transition very easy. She's currently still in the rehab room. They're supposed to be moving her, but I'm not sure when they're going to. Right now, she has a single room and when they move her to long-term care, she'll be in a double room. The facility is clean. When it comes to activities, she really can't do anything. They tried with the PT, but she physically wasn't able to do it. They do have different activities, but she's not interested in them, so they're kind of at a loss for her. For the staff, the ones I've dealt with were very nice and knowledgeable."

"Each time I go to visit my grandfather is has always been a hassle free experience. I usually take my brother along with me and the staff never have any issues with us visiting him. The staff seem to care very much about us, they had already learned our names and knew exactly who we were coming to visit by the third time we had came. We usually take our grandfather for a short walk around the third floor of the building and along our walk we always stop to play a game of pool, he just loves to watch us play. Then we go out on the balcony for some fresh air and we catch grandpa up on whats been happening at home. After we walk him back to his room we begin to leave the building and the staff always tell us we are welcome back whenever. "
