"My father was in the facility for 2 months for rehabilitation. The nurses were nice and were very helpful. Many of the CNA's were nice there just needed to be more of them. The therapist work well with my father encouraging him. Housekeeping could have been a lot better, and the food was ok. "

The food's not wonderful, it's mediocre food. The place seems to be taken care of in that respect, though it's not the fanciest place in the world, it's pretty basic. So far, her Medicare is taking care of the cost."

"Westminster Village Kentuckiana was good. They showed us one of the guestrooms, the dining area, and the gathering area where they have entertainment. I liked the view out the window of the rooms. There was a lake, grass, and trees. I liked that they had lots of entertainment scheduled if people chose to participate. It was clean. It's one of the older facilities, but I believe the price is a little less, too. So it depends on what a person can afford. I think it's one of the larger ones also. There were tables all set in the dining area and they were getting ready for a meal and everything looked nice. The lady who gave us the tour was the assistant person, not the normal person who shows people around, but she did a great job."

"I am a frequent visitor of this facility and every time I visit it’s always fresh smelling and all staff great you with a Hello and a smile, and in today’s times it’s even more important to see smiling happy faces taking care of many residents. The nursing staff is professional and always helpful in answering questions. The rooms are well lit and very spacious. They have a wide range of activities. With things opening up now we can even be reunited with our loved ones. I can’t say enough about the entire staff and how they go above and beyond to ensure great quality care. I’m a hard one to impress and NO ONE is perfect and I only trust two people taking care of my loved one, me and the fine nurses at Clark Rehab "

"My brother-in-law moved into Riverview Village. He's in memory care. It was very clean, everybody was friendly and helpful. His room is very small, but everything was clean and neat and everything was put away and it was nice. I saw them playing bingo. I haven't had that many dealings with them, but everybody's been very nice. The staffers are all very pleasant. They did have a beauty salon, and we did go out in the courtyard when they were playing bingo. As far as his room, we took a bunch of pictures and things, but they said they would hang them. So we haven't seen that happen yet."

"I felt the staff was not helpful in providing immediate care. There would be times my grandmother would waited for 30 minutes or more for help. The overall facility itself needed some updates and repairs. I felt managment could have been friendler and hospitable when visting guest come to vist. The amenities were quite old and dated. I would have liked to see a nicer looking environment for my loved ones care. Its my loved ones fault they need immediate or 24 hour care, but I feel the staff should have a much happier attitude towards caring for the paients. Caring for other peoples loved ones is not just a job its about having a loving spirt. Its difficult at times to see elder's being treated unfairly or poorly. Its should be a previlage to care for older people for they have lots of wisdoms and should be appreciated. "

"Kindred Transitional Care was nice, but they didn’t have facilities for dementia people or Alzheimer’s. I didn’t go to any of the rooms; I went into the facility. I’ve been in there before because of people that I knew who were in there, and it’s a nice place. "

"I visited Summerfield. The staff was very nice, but I think they need to be a little bit more educated on people with dementia, like how to talk to and handle them. For activities, sometimes they have story-telling and singing. They did have a patio where they can go out. They could improve on more activities at night for the residents. "
