"I will move in. It has what I need and is not far from my home. The staff are very friendly. The common areas looked good, clean, friendly, bright, and light. It had a good-sized room, and I'm able to get a lot of my furniture in."

"My brother moved into Brookdale Stonestreet last March 8, and it’s been great. He likes it, we like it, and we like the people there that we talked to. I have friends that go see him, he’s in good shape, he’s well taken care of, and they help him take care of himself. We sat with him as he ate, and it’s very nice. I know they have a movie room and he likes that idea, and I think there’s a library upstairs. There are 2 different living room areas,one upstairs and one downstairs, and he can go and sit in those rooms. There’s a side walk all around the building, and he likes to walk there all the time. I would definitely recommend it to others."

"I visited the assisted living facility of Vitality Living St. Matthews for a friend, and I particularly like the staff. They were warm, sincere, and friendly. I also like the many activities available there. I like that they have an available system where there's different food each day, but if you don't like what's available you can get things like hamburgers, so I like that there's choice in that. I didn't notice anything unclean, so I guess that's a positive thing too."

"My mom moved into StoryPoint Prospect a week ago. I like pretty much everything about it. They have their own yard for walking. They have 24/7 care people in that memory unit. We understand there's a two-week grace period for my mom to get adapted there, but it looks like it's going well so far. I have not tasted the food, but I was told that my mom was eating well, so I guess it is good. The facility was very well-maintained and I like how it looks like. They have puzzles and musical activities. There are a lot of things that people living there can do. The place was very welcoming. This was pretty much the reason why we chose them over others."

"Belmont Village was wonderful. They work with me and they got her in. I had to go out of town right away but they took care of her. It's been a good deal. The staff was very nice. "

"I toured River Crossing Assisted Living. It is for assisted living, but the level of care my mom needs is a little bit higher than what they can provide. The director of nursing and their marketing coordinator were extremely kind and helpful, and provided a lot of information and a well-rounded tour of the campuses. It was not too big, not too small, but it was clean. It had ample services and amenities for like activities, and spaces for gathering. The rooms were nice. We met with a couple of residents. They just happened to be passing us in the hallway. They gave us good feedback, and they liked it there."

"I really like my tour of BeeHive Homes of Louisville/Lyndon. It was a very comfortable, warm, and homey setting. The residents seemed very happy and well taken care of. The room that I saw was unfurnished, but it was spacious and clean. The dining area looked nice and very family oriented."

"Magnolia Springs Louisville was absolutely beautiful. I love the meal service. I love the rooms. I love the fact that there is a gym there. The dining area was very spacious and very elegant. The food looked wonderful, and the aroma was fantastic. The room was very spacious. The bathroom and the closet were nice. I liked it. The staff seemed very helpful, very courteous, and very personable. There's a little snack bar any time that you want it. They have games going on like poker (if you're a poker player), and they had a puzzle going, which I love."

"Vitality Living Springdale was extremely nice and clean. The staff was great. The food was good, and that was a big thing. It was a nice place. I like the fact that they can order off of a menu; I like that a lot. That is one of the big things. They have an exercise area and a movie theater. And then they have snacks and stuff for the residents in the dining area."

"I visited Creekside on Whipps Mill and I liked it. I'd like to move my sister there. The lady I spoke with, Monica, is calling my sister's current community right now to find out some things about my sister from the nurse. I'm just waiting for her to call back and as soon as she does and says we're good to go, I'm ready to move my sister. They have a room open right now, so I'd like to move her within a week. I liked it, and it's so much cheaper than her current place, it's unbelievable. What I liked was that it was only one floor, so you wouldn't have to deal with elevators at all. I like that when we went into the lockdown unit, where my sister would be, it was perfect for her, and everything was right in there. There were groups of people sitting out there watching TV and talking together so there seemed to be a lot of interaction. I like that the exercise equipment was kind of right down the hall from there, too. They showed me the memory care part because my sister has Alzheimer's. The staff who showed us around was great and I liked her. She's very friendly and she answered all of my questions. She showed me a secure patio, so my sister couldn't wander off."

"It is a very beautiful place which is why I put my dad there. The service is pretty much what they represented and it's what we expected. The staff is very nice and do their job. There are some workers who don't carry their weight, just like in any place, but the admin staff is great. My dad is in their memory care. The dining area is smaller in the memory care, but they have good food. My dad's room is passable but I'm not really thrilled with it."
