"There were a lot of people in Brownsboro Park who were hanging out and looking like they were having a good time. The inside was dated, but the person who did the tour was excellent. She was very forthcoming in details and was very pleasant to be with. She was just a very sweet person, very kind, and just wanted to be accommodating. They have an all-inclusive situation and have many things that were offered that my mom wouldn't have to pay extra for."

"I like it because it's a little bigger. It just seem like it had a little more interaction with the residents. They had a lot of outside people come in, entertainment, music, and I think that's important for the senior community to be around. The dining area was really nice. It was a lot bigger. It was beautiful and I liked the setup they had. It was very relaxing."

"I had a good tour at The Grand Senior Living. They have everything that you might want, it's just a little pricey for me. They have a fitness center, I like the idea of different activities that they have, and they have a movie room. They had a nice outside area, not only for walking but if you want to go out and do a cookout or something. They offer transportation, and I like that they have somebody at the door all the time. Some places don't have anyone after a certain time. The staff was very friendly. John was the person who took us around, he was very much a people person and very helpful. They were having a program the next week on moving, and he gave me the flier and invited me. He also said if I wanted to come back and have a meal, so I could experience it. So they're very willing and very cooperative. I just like the whole atmosphere of The Grand, from the time you walk in and walk out, and the people that I passed by were friendly. And that's important to me."

"We have my mom in here. It's more of a memory care and assisted living facility. A friend of mine told me about it. It's wonderful! It's very clean and the people are just very friendly and very caring. They're very prompt if you ask something of them. They're amazing in everything that they do for their residents. They have fun activities. I would recommend this place. "

"I liked everything about The Spring House at Louisville. I would live there. It's beautiful, spic and span, and meticulous. The staff was very helpful, very friendly, and professional. They gave me numbers that I could call even though I couldn't use their services. It was immaculate. They had a couple of different dining areas and they were huge and had very comfortable seating. It's friendly and welcoming. The room size was adequate. The layout was very nice."

"The place is wonderful, as a matter of fact, it's everything I would ever want because of the way they do things and . The residents don't just sit in the wheelchair and I wouldn't want my mom just seated in the wheelchair. I like the way the staff treat the people that lived there. They have a section where they have people that can get around; an assisted living area, and then there is a section for dementia and Alzheimer's. The staff were more than helpful and more than caring. The staff that showed us around is very detail-oriented. They showed us around the facility and the activities they do on certain days a week. They have different room setups like a sewing room and for the men they have a tool room and a workshop room. We had breakfast there and the food was wonderful. The facility is clean. The whole place was just fresh, warm, and caring. They give one on one level of care. Depending on what your situation is they have specialist that worked with you on that particular group. The rooms have handicapped showers and handicapped bed. It's just so nice. The residents in the dementia unit were monitored. I felt comfortable with the staff. "

"We placed my brother-in-law in StoryPoint Enhanced Living which is a step above Assisted Living as he requires additional assistance with daily living and have not been disappointed. It is so clean, the staff are amazing and caring, the food is very appetizing and activities are abundant. The grounds are spacious and well maintained. His room is exactly the amount of space he needs. He has a separate bedroom with walk-in closet, kitchenette (which he only uses the refrigerator), attached living room with coat closet and single bathroom with walk-in shower. Highly recommended!"

"I went to tour Village Crossing. It was a wonderful visit. We truly enjoyed the young lady who gave our tour. We loved everything about it, but it's out of my income bracket. The facilities were outstanding. I was really quite impressed because I did not expect this. In the apartment they have full kitchen like a full-sized refrigerator and a full stove. I was just totally impressed because I was not expecting full service. As far as the facility itself, that was the most impressive thing for what I would be able to utilize, and that I would not have to be restricted to the menu and the meals that they have. But what they had today was great. We enjoyed the lunch that we had there. They also have a full-sized washer and dryer. The staff member who gave the tour was very accommodating. The person who I met with initially was just standing in for the person that I had the appointment with, but they both were very friendly. The staff member took me through the whole facility to show me everything that they had to offer. And my son said it was like being on a cruise ship. Everything was really nice. We thoroughly both enjoyed it. And they have so many things to do there. I was just really blown away."

"The decision to move my parents to a higher care facility was difficult. The staff has been very supportive of me and my parents through the transition. Any concerns that we have encountered have been quickly and kindly addressed."

"My mother moved in to Traditions at Beaumont. She’s been there for about 2 weeks. She’s living in a small cottage in a little garden home in the complex. The food is wonderful, and the people there are extremely accommodating. They act like she’s the only person they have. They’ve just been wonderful all the way around. They have a lot of things she’s going to join. They have Bridge and a senior fitness center. I can’t say enough good about them. "

"My wife is a resident of The Villages at Historic Silvercrest. The cleanliness and the staff make the place. The staff were friendly and caring, I haven't met one who isn't. It doesn't feel like a nursing home. It doesn't feel like all the nursing homes I've been in before. Their staff is top-notch, and the food is excellent. Their location is up in a wooded area. When you go outside for a stroll, it's just pleasant surroundings. They have a beauty salon. My wife had her hair fixed down there, twice. There was a sitting area outside. You could go out there and have a barbecue."

"Westminster Village has outside living quarters, or homes on their site for people who don't need assistance. Our visit there was very nice; the staff seemed very helpful, and knowledgeable with all the questions we had. They had all kinds of activities; their activities were really more for people who needed assisted living. They go on trips to different cities, concerts; stuff like that. Of course, in-house they have Bingo, card games; all of those continuously. They bring in outside guests, singers. They offer quite a bit of activities for the residents. We only ate one meal there, but they had a nice dining room, plus a little café, and a little store. I thought it was quite adequate. It was a very clean facility. "
