"I made an appointment with Village Manor and talked to a lady there today. She was very nice and very helpful. However, as she found out more about my 104-year-old mother, that she could not transfer from the bed to the wheelchair, from the wheelchair to another chair, from the wheelchair to the toilet seat, that she had to have assistance through all those things, she indicated that Village Manor did not provide that type of service. The young lady was very helpful and the facility is absolutely nice as it can be, but they can't care for my mother. I had a short walkthrough and while we were walking and talking, she realized it wouldn't work. She gave me a pamphlet and I had a mask on when I came in, but she gave me another one with a shield. They showed me a room and it was very nice. It's a nice facility, immaculately clean, and everything is nice. I couldn't see anything wrong except they couldn't care for my mother. It's a nice, modern building."

"Charter Senior Living of Bowling Green was a very nice facility. I was very favorably impressed. I would probably go with them if they had available space. They were interactive with the residents. I would be looking for something like that for my wife. The rooms were very nice, roomy, up-to-date and clean. They offered me a pie, but I don't do pies. I kind of like the hub layout a little better, but as far as the rooms and everything like that, they're still very good. The staff was very open, very easy to talk to and very caring."

"My in-laws really like Arcadia Senior Living Bowling Green. We spoke with several residents, and they loved it. What we liked most about it is that you have a two-hour window for each meal, and you get to order what you want, so there's more variety in terms of food. The facility was just very vibrant. The rooms seemed to be smaller, but they have a variety of rooms available in terms of studio, one-bedroom, or two-bedroom. We liked the variety of offerings there. It was just excellently kept. The staff members were very accommodating and informative."

"Highland Rim Terrace was very nice. They remodeled it. The people were very nice. Mark, who kind of runs the place, was very nice. The apartment was okay. It's a little different when you go from a house to that. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. They had cable hookup, if you want it. They had a washer and dryer. They had a laundry room where you could go. There are only two machines there, and there are quite a few apartments, so it could be a problem trying to get down to your laundry room or get a machine. There isn't enough."
