"I liked them because the memory care was smaller and it seemed like more of a family atmosphere and less like a hospital. The staff who assisted us was very nice and she knew a lot about the place. I will give her a high rating. The facility is very clean."

"I toured the Album Indian Lake. The community is extraordinary. They have all the amenities that you need. If you want to be an active senior, they have a weight room and pools. They have an activity room where they do activities with the seniors. They have arts and crafts, a family area, and a theater room. They have everything. The person who showed me around was Elizabeth. She was nice, and the greeter at the door was Lisa. She was also really nice. The apartments are very, very well-kept. They're nice and spacious. The kitchens and the unit itself are amazing."

"This is not a facility, it is a home. My mother lived here for two months under the care of hospice. We were there with her daily. The staff is very caring. It was beautiful watching them interact with the residents. The other residents were also very kind and welcoming to our entire family. The atmosphere is very relaxed, without sacrificing excellent care. The home is gorgeous. It is convenient to Hendersonville, Gallatin, Goodlettsville, and White House, yet you feel like you are in the country. Our family loved the comfortable elegance this home exudes. During a difficult time, we were able to relax and enjoy being together. There are so many areas to sit and visit, both inside and out. The meals are excellent. My mom's dietary needs changed as her illness progressed and the chef went out of his way to help her and provide alternate solutions. Near the end of life they set up a very comfortable cot in her room so a family member could stay at all times. They not only provided exceptional care for my mother, but constantly tried to make sure our family had everything we needed. I can't recommend them enough. "

"Park Place Retirement is very nice and I like it. It's a very well-run and friendly place, I'm very comfortable here. They have cards, and jigsaw puzzles and they bring in entertainment now and then too which is nice. It's so pretty that we get out and walk, so that's also a nice activity. Most of us don't drive, so they have somebody that will take us to the grocery store and doctor's appointments. The staff was very nice, they're always polite and we enjoy the good atmosphere. There's an assisted living section in addition to where I am now, and the rooms are quite nice. There's a big porch where people sit out a lot. They furnish the meal, and the food is very good. The workers are great, they are always ready to help if you needed it. Many don't want to participate in the activities, but that's up to them, there's plenty to keep everyone busy. It's as expensive as any other place is."

"We chose McKendree Village because they have assisted living, nursing care, and memory care all on the same property, and it's close to my house. The place is great, and the staff members are very kind and helpful. My parents got a two-bedroom apartment, and they're very pleased with it. It's our top choice."

"Highland Rim Terrace was very nice. They remodeled it. The people were very nice. Mark, who kind of runs the place, was very nice. The apartment was okay. It's a little different when you go from a house to that. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. They had cable hookup, if you want it. They had a washer and dryer. They had a laundry room where you could go. There are only two machines there, and there are quite a few apartments, so it could be a problem trying to get down to your laundry room or get a machine. There isn't enough."

"We chose Rutland Place for our grandmother because of the location, and the fact that the property was newer. The activities were comparable to the other place. We're still a week away from moving in. They have meals, laundry services, activities, a bus that takes them places, and medical staff that visits once a week. It's independent living, but it has some assisted amenities, like meals and the medical staff who visits the property every week. I really liked it. The price and location were good."

"Everything in Carrick Glen was exactly what we we wanted for my parents. Everything was fine. They were all very friendly, very helpful, and everything was great. They had an activities room, dining room, and scheduled excursions for them."

"My mother lives in Windlands East. I believe that the facility has eleven floors. My mother has a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchenette. They provide food and light housekeeping. My mother goes down to their dining room to eat. It is a big building so their dining room is fairly large. They also have a separate small dining room for private family occasions. I would say that their food doesn't taste that good. On the other hand, they do activities on a daily basis. "

"Maybelle Carter Living is an older facility, but it's maintained well. It's like an apartment building. It has long hallways, but it looks nice and clean. My parents have everything they need there. The staff is wonderful. They're available around the clock, and they've been very attentive to their needs. They have plenty of activities. They have bingo, painting classes, and a men's club where they get to play cornhole or dine together. The dining areas are also very nice with linen tablecloths and a grand piano. They serve good food, too."

"I like Saddlebrook. It's just like your own home here and the people that manage it are very well they keep it up very good. There are several senior activities. There's a senior center not far from here and in the building, there are games nights and bingo and all kinds of activities. I like best the cleanliness and ease of access. I'm very satisfied and happy here. "

"My husband and I were looking for a place for the future. We swim 3 times a week, we drive and travel all over. I'm 75 and he's 92. We're both healthy now. But we realized in the future we may need it. We have gone to many facilities but we found a place in Lake Providence and this is the one we liked best. What we like best about this community is that it has 2 swimming pools and we both love to swim. It has everything. We do a lot of wood working. They have wood working shop. They have many clubs and we would be buying a golf cart because you can go to the grocery store on golf cart. They have a private driveway to a shopping center so that you can go there and drive on the back way without having to get on the road. This is our favorite! All the people and staff are friendly and amazing. This is a great place to live. Highly recommended. "

"My aging grandmother stayed at Hearthside for several years and has since moved on to a nursing home. The times I went to visit her I was always happy to see such a caring and friendly staff. After I had gone once they remembered me and my family each and every other time I had gone. The entry lobby has a piano and some exotic birds in a glass enclosure which my kids loved, but I think the residents did too as my grandmother wanted to make sure she showed it to us. They also are located directly across from a city park which was perfect for my grandmother who loves to walk. There is a walking track around the park so this was perfect. They keep a very active calendar so that's nice for those that are more mobile and desiring of activities. Overall, I was very happy with this place. "
