My brother will move into Legacy Village of Hendersonville. We liked the tour, and they've been really helpful. We were able to buy the furniture that was already in the studio showroom. So that was helpful, not having to go out and find furniture. They've been nice to let us in to measure things and get what we need. It's in the middle of the road. The size of the rooms is nice. They offer all the way up to memory care. So, if my brother has to be moved eventually, he won't have to change facilities. The residents seem to be happy there. We talked to two or three of them. One thing we liked was that the dining area is on the first floor, where some of them are not, and they have to take an elevator to get to it. So, that was good. She was very nice and let us in to check other things. They also offered entertainment, which was good, trying to get them to interact. They showed us the menu, and if they don't like what they have on the list for the day, they can always get a sandwich, a hamburger, or something like that. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

My wife is at Legacy Village of Hendersonville. They're on the first floor, which is like the locked-down area. The facility is quite nice. The people that work there are friendly and helpful to my wife. They have lots of activities, and I think it's a fairly good place to be. We had a bunch of photos blown up and put in frames, and we put them on the walls in her room. It looks pretty nice now. It's a shared room with one other person. If you go into the room, my wife is on the right, and then there's like a wall, and the other lady is on the left, and then the bathroom is on the side. It's kind of a half-private room. There is a fenced-in area with seats and stuff that they can go out any time they want. That door is still locked though. They don't like anybody to be out there if they don't know they're there, and I appreciate that. And they spend a lot of time in the activity room, so if somebody wants to go outside, they don't go unnoticed. They have a theater where they play movies and sometimes make popcorn for them. They always have a nurse there for any problems. I think it's pretty good. Another thing is that they don't provide anything but the room. So you have to provide a bed and a dresser. Anything that you want there, you have to provide it, so that's a big thing.

I liked them because the memory care was smaller and it seemed like more of a family atmosphere and less like a hospital. The staff who assisted us was very nice and she knew a lot about the place. I will give her a high rating. The facility is very clean.
