"I toured Traditions of Smyrna. It was a great experience. They showed me the room my dad would be living in, toured where they eat and where they play games, and different things to keep them active. The staff was very thorough in explaining what they do there."

"I toured the Album Indian Lake. The community is extraordinary. They have all the amenities that you need. If you want to be an active senior, they have a weight room and pools. They have an activity room where they do activities with the seniors. They have arts and crafts, a family area, and a theater room. They have everything. The person who showed me around was Elizabeth. She was nice, and the greeter at the door was Lisa. She was also really nice. The apartments are very, very well-kept. They're nice and spacious. The kitchens and the unit itself are amazing."

"I liked Park Place Retirement. It was kind of dated, but I know they're going to start redoing something like the carpet and everything. It was still nice. Outside their little laundry room, they have a big open space that had a couch so you could hang out while your laundry was being done. It was nice when you walked into the place. I liked that they had a little chapel in there. Shonda was great. She was nice and welcoming. Heather, the salesperson, was also really good. Shonda seemed to really care about the residents and she was telling me what all they had done during COVID and to help the residents. It was really impressive. We walked through the dining room. It was really big. The place just didn't look too friendly, because it was so spread out and so big, but I guess that's good for people with walkers and wheelchairs. They had a barber/beauty shop, a little fitness room, and a nice outside area for the residents where they could go. A couple of times, I saw a van coming in and bringing people back from somewhere like they'd done shopping. So, they had rides around town to go to places like Walmart and things like that."

"My wife is at Legacy Village of Hendersonville. They're on the first floor, which is like the locked-down area. The facility is quite nice. The people that work there are friendly and helpful to my wife. They have lots of activities, and I think it's a fairly good place to be. We had a bunch of photos blown up and put in frames, and we put them on the walls in her room. It looks pretty nice now. It's a shared room with one other person. If you go into the room, my wife is on the right, and then there's like a wall, and the other lady is on the left, and then the bathroom is on the side. It's kind of a half-private room. There is a fenced-in area with seats and stuff that they can go out any time they want. That door is still locked though. They don't like anybody to be out there if they don't know they're there, and I appreciate that. And they spend a lot of time in the activity room, so if somebody wants to go outside, they don't go unnoticed. They have a theater where they play movies and sometimes make popcorn for them. They always have a nurse there for any problems. I think it's pretty good. Another thing is that they don't provide anything but the room. So you have to provide a bed and a dresser. Anything that you want there, you have to provide it, so that's a big thing."

"I toured New Hope Senior Living and was impressed with the thought that was put into every detail from design and decor to services and activities offered to ensure the residents happiness and safety. The entire property is beautiful beyond words and it is obvious in my tour with staff, the goal is to make sure each resident feels they are at home and not in a facility."

"I had an in-person tour of Holiday Windlands East. When I first walked in, the people were so nice and friendly. It just seemed like such a warm and happy place. The guy who showed me around was very nice. It seems like they had everything. The staff members were very welcoming and knowledgeable. I was impressed. They have a beauty shop there, a podiatrist who was coming in, and different people who come in and do things."

"I toured Sage Hill Maybelle Carter for my uncle. It was beautiful. I loved the layout of it. I met the staff, and it was very nice. The walkthrough was fine and everybody was willing to help me. They didn't know that I was coming, but they were very nice. I showed them my email from the place that told me to be there, and they were very nice, and we had the walkthrough, and everything went fine. We were able to pick out which room we would like. They were very nice, and the apartments are nice. That's going to be my choice. The dining area was very lovely. I love the layout of it; I was shocked. It was very nice. And they said that they were remodeling ,and I'm like, "Wow, what else would you do with the place to look good?" I loved all the little activity rules, the things they had, and the plannings that they have. They have a library, a community room, and they have a lot of stuff to do from outside and everything else. I am surprised and shocked. I didn't get to see the food, but I went to the kitchen, and the people were very nice and everything was nice."

"My mother has been a resident at Rutland Place for almost 2 years. The staff and management at Rutland treat the residents like family and go above and beyond at all times. I know in my heart that there is nowhere else that my mother could be living that would be better for her. I feel so very blessed that she is now 20 minutes away and not 12 hours, and that I can leave work when I need to and be there for her, and that she has the full support of everyone at Rutland behind her too! "

"We went to Carrick Glen Senior Living. I like the people that we met. The building had a new edition for assisted living, so we like that. Also, it's very quiet and not right next to any major roadways or anything like that. The apartment that we looked at had an outside porch, and they had courtyards for the residents."

"My mother is in Grace Health Care. The staff is very caring and very nice. The rooms are clean, and it is spacious enough for her. "

"My husband and I were looking for a place for the future. We swim 3 times a week, we drive and travel all over. I'm 75 and he's 92. We're both healthy now. But we realized in the future we may need it. We have gone to many facilities but we found a place in Lake Providence and this is the one we liked best. What we like best about this community is that it has 2 swimming pools and we both love to swim. It has everything. We do a lot of wood working. They have wood working shop. They have many clubs and we would be buying a golf cart because you can go to the grocery store on golf cart. They have a private driveway to a shopping center so that you can go there and drive on the back way without having to get on the road. This is our favorite! All the people and staff are friendly and amazing. This is a great place to live. Highly recommended. "
