"Brookdale Franklin was nice, but it wasn't as congenial as the other place we visited. The other place is in town with the stores all there, but in Brookdale you would have to use the bus everywhere you go. It would take you a half an hour to get into Murfreesboro, and then to get to Nashville would be longer. It was too far away from my granddaughter too. I personally would like to be closer to town and closer to my granddaughter. Everybody was nice and personable. I didn't get to talk to too many people, but the man who gave me the tour was very nice. I met a couple of people that were there. They were playing cards, and they were saying that it was an OK place. It's just different than the first one we visited. It wasn't as welcoming. I don't know if it was because it was so far away and being in the country. Some people like that, but I didn't. Their menu was very versatile. It was just like a restaurant. If you didn't like the meal for the day, you could pick and choose whatever you wanted. If you didn't want to eat in the dining room, they would bring it to your room. They had a game room, an exercise room, and a library. They have a bus that will take you places if you're not driving. They have arts and crafts room."
