"I have moved into Harmony at Bellevue. It looks great. It's modern, kept up, attractive, and hospitable. They have plenty of things to do from exercise to socialization and to entertainment, so it's nice. Their activities depend on what your interests are. The staff members were supportive. They're friendly, helpful, and very pleasant people. It's reasonable in terms of the value of money."

"We are living in Beò of Franklin. We liked it because it's only 20 minutes from our younger son's family, which is lovely. There's excellent healthcare around here, which is another reason we like it. A third reason, and one of the main reasons, is that it's back from the road in a lovely setting with lots of trees, flowers, and grass. Even though Cool Springs is a fairly busy road, we're far enough back so that when the trees are out, we don't even see the traffic, and we barely hear it. The staff here is remarkable. Everyone is so caring, so kind, and willing to do anything they can to help you. For example, we are originally from Michigan, and we were new to this area, and we needed to get a handicap placard for our car, but we did not know how to go about it. Nicole, our marketing manager, was available in her office. I asked her how to do it, and she gave me all the information I needed, where to send the materials, what to do, and within a week or two, we had our placards. Anything you ask for that you need, they're very, very good about. We have a fairly new director. Her name is Sarah, and she's very friendly. She comes in the dining room and talks with people. She answers your questions and asks what you need. If they can do it for us, they will. It's just been a remarkable place to live. We've been here a little over a year now. We're in a one-bedroom unit. We have a full-sized refrigerator, a full-sized sink, cupboards, drawers, and room for a little microwave. I've added one of those movable kitchen counter things that's given us a little more room. We have room for a small roll-top desk that I brought and our large TV. We have a couple of reclining chairs, and I have my trunk in here with all my yarn because I'm a crocheter. It's a good space. The bedroom is a nice size. I have our queen bed in there with a big chest of drawers and lots of other little, smaller pieces that go with it, including my husband's keyboard that he plays. It's quite a bit of space and a nice bathroom with a nice big shower. There's a big closet when we walk in the door in the main room, and then we each have a smaller closet in our bedroom, so lots of storage. We also have a wonderful lady who cleans for us. The management company changed in February, and if it was great before, it's even better now. They offer so many different activities. There are several different types of card games. I am into exercise, and there are several exercise programs. Just this week, we had a couple ladies come from the health department who did chair Zumba with us, which was tons of fun. They have some video exercises. You can participate in two or three exercise classes in a day if you want to. They have music here. We have music tonight after dinner. We have what they call a Golden Memories game that they play a couple of times a week with us. They have bingo. At least one person a week comes in, sometimes two, for music. Then we have some special events, like they had a black-tie dinner, and they always have something nice. For holidays, there's a buffet dinner for Father's Day. They celebrate all the holidays with us. We have Bible study, which I'm actually teaching right now, and then we have chapel on Sunday morning. The people that come are from the Catholic Church here in Franklin, but it's very much a mixture. My husband and I are Protestants, and we've gotten very involved. My husband plays the keyboard for the chapel, and I pass out the bread to the Protestants. It's a wonderful experience. We feel like we can really worship here. We don't even have to leave the premises. They also have TED Talks with conversation sheets to talk about them afterwards. Stacey has what she calls Stacey's Angels. She has some other people who help her out part of the time. She is fantastic, and a lot of us use her. If we need little things done or even some bigger things, she helps. I had an issue with my arm and wrist, where I couldn't use it for a while, and she helped me with my shower, washing my hair, and drying it. That's available to us. Even though it is independent living, we can still get somebody to come in and help us with some of those smaller things that we might need at certain times. She is not an employee of Beò. She is self-employed. There are a couple of other ladies from outside agencies. We don't have to be 100% independent. They allow us to have a little assistance as needed if something like that comes up. They're working on the food. I think that the price is very fair. Compared to other places, they're really quite reasonable."

"My family and I have been very pleased with the care my grandmother has received at Pennington Place. We hated the idea of placing her in a nursing home or really anywhere other than home. The staff at Pennington Place has quickly become a second family. They look after my grandmother as if she was their family as well. The facility is always clean, and the food they offer is excellent. The many activities keep my grandmother busy when we can't be with her. I am very grateful for the caring staff. It is such a relief to have found a place where she can be cared for and be so happy. "

"It was good, I liked it fine. I liked the staff very much, they were good, and the facility was very new, and it was nice. The rooms were very nice, the dining area was large, and it had a lot of windows. The staff was very helpful."

"Mom moved into Harmony at Mt. Juliet. It's on the new side, so everything's nice. Everything's clean. She talks about how good the food is. So far, the staff has been good. They've got everything. They've got a library, an outdoor courtyard area, a bar area, a movie room, and multiple seating areas with TVs. They've got all kinds of activities. They have a walking group, bingo, a knitting group, and a bunch of different stuff. We got a pretty good rate and we locked in for two years. So far, value for money is pretty good."

"We recently had a Valentine's Day Party and everything was so WONDERFUL! I enjoyed the dancing, the music, the food, and everything. The staff really go above and beyond to make us feel loved!"

"Emeritus is a real pretty place and a very good facility. The people have just been great so far. We've had mom in there for about two and half months now. We've been very pleased. They're very clean and definitely a very nice place. They have a separate bedroom and bath and a nice living area with good lighting and windows. Everybody's just been great, very open, friendly, and helpful. They offer book clubs, field trips, as well as a lot of nice stuff that's very age appropriate for the residents. Mom takes her meals there, and she stayed healthy. They have menus posted, and it looks very nutritious. "

"It is excellent. The staff provides excellent care to my mom and they're very attentive to her. They have bingo, trivia, and she likes the theater that they have there, and their dining room. They also keep her room very clean. They empty the trash every day and they do well with that. I've eaten with her twice already and the food was good. They've got choices. The residents are really helpful when someone new comes in. They all reach out to make that person feel very comfortable. They're very kind and I appreciate that so much."

"We went to look at Traditions of Smyrna. They were fantastic. It's very beautiful, very clean, and it has a homey feeling to it when you walk in. It's clean but it's not so sterile that you feel like you're in a hospital. You feel like you're in a home, it's nice, and it's beautiful. It just has a homey feel to it, yet it's very, very clean. The person who accommodated us was wonderful. The dining area is large, clean, and very open. We didn't eat anything there, but it has a restaurant, homey feel. They have a game area, an outdoor place where you can eat in the summer, and a coffee bar like a barista. It's nice. I was sad we couldn't put my mom there. The staff was wonderful."

"We really like Harmony at Victory Station. It's actually my husband's favorite. If he had to pick, that's where his parents would go to. He liked that once COVID is over the independent living and assisted living could be together. He likes that idea because his parents wouldn't feel so isolated. He liked the library and that they had a computer room that was very spacious and all the amenities that he thinks his parents would like. He knows them better than I do. The facility was really nice. You can tell it's been there, but it was nice and it's a large place. It was very clean. The staff was very nice. We came there earlier and the lady there missed our appointment. They were very apologetic and they were very concerned about our feelings. They were going to go and do a tour with us anyways. It was nice. I liked how they did that. There's opportunity for much more community interactions there. I like that they've got interactions with the independent living and the other care residents. They've also got a theater upstairs. It's just a bit better community wise/better than some of the smaller places."

"My Mom was at Morningside of Springfield twice over the past eight years. The care was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious. Mom felt very loved by all of the employees. They became family to all of us. Mom passed away recently and looking back on the past 10years of her life the best decision we ever made was to trust Morningside with our Mom"s care. Since the caregivers took care our Mom"s needs when we visited we were free to shower our Mom with love instead of trying to cook, clean and do personal care. Thank you Morningside for loving and caring for our Mom. We will be forever grateful ! "

"I visited a friend who lived in Richland Place and I thought it was very good. The staff was very professional. My friend was in an apartment and their accommodation was the best. They were clean and well maintained. They had lots of activities like water exercises and they had people come in. They also had exercise room and a swimming pool. They were a very upscale place. "

"I visited The Crestmoor at Green Hills. It's a newer one, and I liked it especially for independent living. That would be a really great place to live. I really did like it. It's very clean. You feel like you're in this nice New York hotel. It's really pretty. I would love to live there now myself. They have an indoor swimming pool with a low-grade ramp. It's good for using PT in the water and walking down the railings and down the ramp into the water, so it's unique to use with their PT and water aerobics. There are restaurants on different levels where the food and the views are really good. I was surprised in the middle of Green Hills, it's like a mall and shops, but the views out the windows are pretty from the different areas. I have a good friend there, and she is very picky. She travels all over the world, and she says the food is really good. I saw the PT there working with two of the men, and they all seem very happy, and she's very personable. Valerie, who gave me the tour, was really great. My friend liked water aerobics and everything. She was saying it's a really good value for what is offered."
