Mom went to Brookdale Franklin a few weeks ago with my brother and my sister-in-law. The great thing about them is they let you stay for two nights. So, she got to experience staying there for two nights before moving in and she liked it there and she's excited about moving in there. The staff were very, very friendly, very accommodating, and they would go above and beyond for people. My mom felt very welcomed when she went there. As far as most of the facilities that we visited, their rooms were more spacious compared to some of the other places. They're very open for people to get in there. Mom got to experience some of the activities and how things were there before moving in, too. When you walk into her room, she has a living area. Everything's very nice and very clean. Then you have a little kitchen area that has a sink and a refrigerator. They don't have a stove, but they have a microwave as well as a little convection oven kind of thing. They were an overabundant help and even when my mom stayed in there, they came right to the door and helped bring stuff to her room. They're very welcoming. My mom was kind of reluctant at first about finding one of these places and when she went there, she just felt very welcomed and that it made her feel great about moving in there. So, that was great for us as well, to hear that we could find a place that would welcome her.

Brookdale Franklin was more upscale living, and really for people who are fully functional. It was very, very nice, well-furnished, and had a nice atmosphere. There were lots of people doing activities. We came in during a birthday party. My mom liked it, but I don't think she'd be a good fit there. It's a little pricey, but it's a really nice facility, and I would rate that highly. I liked that place. It's large. It's three floors and people can come and go as they please. So, it's for people who can't stay at home, but aren't bed ridden or wheelchair ridden completely. They have people there in wheelchairs and walkers and things, but they're fully mobile, and so it's a good place to be. Everything is included, like the TV and internet and all of that, so it's fully equipped and has really nice rooms. It would be a great choice if you just wanted to leave your home and go somewhere where you didn't have to do all the maintenance and everything, but that is not what I'm looking for. Still, it's an excellent location. The staff was great. They had a gourmet dining room, and we were there while some of the people were beginning to eat dinner, and the food looked really great. The meals we saw that were being served looked like they were prepared by a chef. They weren't only appetizing, but they were extremely attractive. They had drizzle sauce on cakes, things like that, and the meals were arranged like you would find in a restaurant.

My mother will be moving into Brookdale Franklin. It operates quite more like an assisted living, but it is categorized as independent. It's very well-maintained, has a warm, inviting feeling, and it feels like home. The staff was very helpful. They work with me to be able to afford the one-bedroom apartment. They worked within our budget. I see oftentimes there are individual performers coming to play guitar and sing, and they seem to really enjoy the entertainment. They have a craft room or a game room. There are groups that get together and play Bridge or something like that. They seem extremely happy and very, very cohesive in their gathering group. They sit in the entry foyer that is impeccably appointed with comfortable furnishings. They sit in there and just have interactions and conversation. It's such a very inviting place to live. Based on my experiences interacting with the staff and the way the facility is run, things as far as the way they're kept and all of that, I can give an A-plus rating. I can't find fault.

We had a very nice tour of Brookdale Franklin. They serve all four meals and it was a very nice place, but it's not for me right now. The apartments look nice, I couldn't cook in them, but they looked very well taken care of. The showers had benches in them, and if you wanted to take the showerhead off it was movable so that you didn't have to stand, and they had grab bars. The staff was very good, they have been excruciatingly knowledgeable and willing to take and answer any of the questions that we had. We've looked at a couple of the apartments and they showed us the dining room and the meals. They have a little menu out there on the day we walked by, and you could see what they were preparing for you for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything looked nice and clean. I didn't see anything that I didn't like. I talked to several of the other staff and they were very helpful. One gentleman was telling us all about the theater and the movies, and how they were chosen. I didn't notice anything out of whack that needed fixing or anything in the facility.

We liked Brookdale Franklin. It seemed like a caring place. All the interactions we had with the people were pleasant. They have exercise rooms, classes, and various other crafts. They have a vehicle that they can take the residents to shopping or events. They also seemed pretty active. The facilities seemed good. The kitchen had no stove though.

We visited Brookdale Franklin, and all they have at that site is independent living. The dining facilities and the menu options were tremendous. I like the fact that on every level, they had a pretty wide open area with ample library to play cards and excellent physical exercise equipment. The staff was very friendly and informative. There was a ballroom dance class just about to start. I looked at a 1-bedroom deluxe and a 2-bedroom, they both were very nice but I'm not sure if they're quite big enough for my needs. The one impressive thing is that their 2-bedroom unit also had a bed, and that's unusual. I got to sample the food, it was excellent, well prepared, and the service was outstanding. The person who gave the tour was very knowledgeable and explained everything that I needed to know.

I moved into Brookdale Franklin. Everybody here is so sweet, so nice, and so helpful. I just love it here. It's wonderful, I don't have any problems at all. They're all very professional, very helpful, and very personable. I think they all know my name. They have where you can go watch movies, they have exercise classes. They have like where you can play games like bingo and dominoes and poker and some of those things. They also have bus trips where they take people to Walmart and Wholefoods and local errands. I love the food here; I haven't had anything that I haven't liked yet.

Brookdale Franklin was really nice, modern, and clean. They're also friendly. I liked it. The staff was great. They just didn't have a whole lot of outdoor spaces, and I like outdoor spaces. They have a beauty salon and a dining room. They are having a garden built for the residents, and that's good.

Brookdale Franklin was nice, but it wasn't as congenial as the other place we visited. The other place is in town with the stores all there, but in Brookdale you would have to use the bus everywhere you go. It would take you a half an hour to get into Murfreesboro, and then to get to Nashville would be longer. It was too far away from my granddaughter too. I personally would like to be closer to town and closer to my granddaughter. Everybody was nice and personable. I didn't get to talk to too many people, but the man who gave me the tour was very nice. I met a couple of people that were there. They were playing cards, and they were saying that it was an OK place. It's just different than the first one we visited. It wasn't as welcoming. I don't know if it was because it was so far away and being in the country. Some people like that, but I didn't. Their menu was very versatile. It was just like a restaurant. If you didn't like the meal for the day, you could pick and choose whatever you wanted. If you didn't want to eat in the dining room, they would bring it to your room. They had a game room, an exercise room, and a library. They have a bus that will take you places if you're not driving. They have arts and crafts room.

Brookdale Franklin was really nice. The atmosphere was nice, the furniture was updated, and you had a warm feeling when you walked in. The rooms were small, but nice. I saw a 2-bedroom and a 1-bedroom. The person who showed me around was so gracious and knowledgeable and asked me questions that made me think about what was I really looking for, so I appreciated that very much. The aroma of the food was tantalizing. It made you want to sit down and have lunch. The dining area was very nice and large, and the menu was very nice. They had a gym room, morning exercises, and a theater.

Brookdale Franklin was going downhill when my mom was there. The first year was fine but they changed hands and had a terrible time keeping help in the kitchen and dining hall. They were always understaffed and had too many people that needed memory care and assisted living. These people were having accidents on the furniture and didn't know who they were. My mom almost choked on some food and the way it was handled was atrocious.

Brookdale in Franklin, TN was my choice over all others visited in the Nashville, TN area. They are located in Williamson County, which is a high rent district. They worked with me and made a very good offer. They have an attractive facility with a great staff. Check them out before making your final choice.

Mom is in Brookdale Franklin. We are not happy because of the quality of the food, and the activities aren’t very well organized.

Brookdale Franklin looked a little dated and a little worn out when I visited the community. It was clean, but it looked a little dingy. They have nice, roomy apartments. The woman that I talked with was very nice, friendly, and helpful.

Brookdale Franklin was nice but a little bit older. It was just senior living, not assisted living, so if you got to a point where you needed additional care, you couldn’t stay there. The people who lived there are able to function on their own for the most part. They were renovating some of the rooms and showed us the one that was completely renovated. It’s simple, but my mother liked it. I think they had some organized activities, but I would say they only have an average amount. I remember they had some outings or shopping planned. Some people can come and go as they please; they sign in and out, and if someone needs to leave and have their own car, they can do that. The people who showed us around were nice but the rooms weren’t.

Emeritus is a real pretty place and a very good facility. The people have just been great so far. We've had mom in there for about two and half months now. We've been very pleased. They're very clean and definitely a very nice place. They have a separate bedroom and bath and a nice living area with good lighting and windows. Everybody's just been great, very open, friendly, and helpful. They offer book clubs, field trips, as well as a lot of nice stuff that's very age appropriate for the residents. Mom takes her meals there, and she stayed healthy. They have menus posted, and it looks very nutritious.

I like the people that are at Emeritus; they seem to care. I like the proximity. Because of where they're located, I can be within the hospital within 5 minutes, within doctors within 10 to 15 minutes. I don't think it's too big; I don't think it's too small. It's the right size. The services that they provide are nice. They have many activities so right now, it does suit their needs. My mom and dad try to sit by themselves but they still encourage them and as a result of that, they do participate at times and when they do, they enjoy it. The food seems to be good. They seem to like it. They eat well.

I chose the Legacy Crossing because of the location. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. I really don't know anything about the residents yet because I have not moved in.

Legacy Crossing is really a very nice place for my brother-in-law. It is clean and it smells good. Those qualities are important in my opinion. The facility feels homey. It is very nice but not over-the-top extravagant. The staff is very helpful and very concerned that their occupants are satisfied. They are always trying to meet their needs. Everything is very good. They have a very good activity director that supervises all sorts of activities. During our inquiry, they were very receptive and my brother-in-law felt at home instantly. They definitely made sure that they were there for him and even made it easier coming in. Currently, my brother-in-law seems very happy. Everything seems to be going very well for him.
