"My father was in the skilled care area of Bethany for about 2-1/2 weeks before he passed away. It is a top-notch, five-star facility. We had heard that and that was our experience. They did beyond what they told us they would do and cared so beautifully for my dad. We could not have asked for better care. We loved the staff. They underpromised and overdelivered. Everybody there had a beautiful attitude and were very long-term employees with a heart for seniors. Changing diapers or any of that stuff didn't bother them. They were so loving, kind, and gracious to my father and to all of us. The room he was in was a nice, private room. It's an older facility, but it was nice and very clean. It wasn't an updated, beautiful, high-end-looking facility, but what they offered was very high end. Their care was high end. "

"When I toured West Meade Place, I got to see their therapy room, and it looked wonderful. I also saw their activity area. Their dining area was beautiful with big open windows, and it looked very comfortable. I saw the rooms, and they were equipped to do pretty high acuity. It looked like they were offering respirators, support, and they just seemed to have it all. The staff was just five stars. They were definitely first class."

"My mom has been a resident of the Blakeford in assisted living for almost 2 years now, since the death of her husband. The Blakeford provides a range of care and services, from independent living to skilled nursing. One of the things I love most is the location, right in the middle of Green Hills. I live in the same neighborhood and with mom next door practically we can enjoy being part of a larger community. We enjoy taking walks, seeing people out with their dogs, or feeding the geese on the lake by the Blakeford. We are close to great restaurants (but the dining room food at the Blakeford is perfectly yummy), mall, and churches. The staff are caring, supportive, and communicative. The Blakeford provides many enriched activities such as music, art, games, field trips, lectures, book readings. Mom is always busy! I love the days when I go over to visit and she says she is too busy there to go out with me. It makes me realize how comfortable she is in her environment and in her life and eases some of the guilt that as a caregiver we never quite do enough. It is nice knowing that many of mom's needs for companionship, friendships, self help care can and are shared and are met at the Blakeford. Her routines are structured, she gets support, she gets love, and we are blessed to have such a fortunate situation that we can be a part of too. The Blakeford recognizes and supports the involvement of families too so we always feel our voices are heard! "

"My mother and I were a little worried that the facility would not be able to handle my aunt, because when she was in good health she could be pretty demanding. But when we visited her last week, we met with the director of nursing and they walked us through her medical plan and told us how well she was doing. The nursing staff was so friendly to us and seemed to be perfect with my aunt. Since the stroke she has trouble speaking clearly so she has been taking classes from this wonderful doctor who is performing miracles with her. We were very surprised to hear that if her treatment continues to go well she will be able to go back home in six months. The nursing staff is always there when she needs them and all she has to do is use her buzzer to get them. She is happy and we can hardly wait for her to get to go home. "

"My mother is at the Reserve at Spring Hill. They're very, very attentive in terms of the nursing care, and very responsive. The facility itself is very well maintained and immaculately appointed. It's a beautiful place to be. My mom is there for physical therapy, and once she gets back to baseline, she's out of there. We've not explored all that there is to do there because she's not going to be a permanent resident there. She's there to get physical therapy, to be cared for while she's there, in terms of being bathed and fed and all of that. The dining area is very, very nice, but I don't know a lot about it because they bring her her meals as if she were in a hospital setting in bed. She's not 100 percent thrilled with the food that she's receiving. I think it's because she's kind of spoiled and I've been bringing her meals that I prepare myself, and she's a little biased. They're experts and professional and just so attentive and friendly and go the extra mile. I can't say enough about them. I'm very pleased. They're definitely aggressively on top. The facility is immaculately maintained. The rooms are private and spacious."

"The facility is old but decent The staff that I have inter-acted with have been for the most part professional and caring. The administrative staff is excellent. The food served based on my loved ones reaction is good."

"This is the Taj Mahal of long term care. Beautiful chandelier when you first walk in starts the momentum. Any body of "who's who" in Belle Meade (the wealthiest zip code in the state) who needs long term care, often ends up here; THIS means, a living population who knows quality when they see quality, will only accept quality, move their loved ones here when long term care is the final option. Quality care. Clean. And, can you call a nursing home elegant? Perfect location next to easy highway access and major hospitals. "

"I visited Belcourt Terrace on behalf on my uncle. My uncle and I was very pleased with Belcourt. We found it to be very clean and professionally ran. The employees were very friendly and eager to assist us. The residents were also very nice and friendly. My uncle was impressed by the many activities that was going on at the home. I rank Belcourt a 5 star business. "

"This facility is top notch and all departments are on the ball. My uncles nurse Liz was an absolute angel. I don’t even believe we took care of my uncle better than she did. The DON Stephanie was an absolute blessing. I’ve never seen nobody so dedicated to customer service. My uncle once told me he thought he was in a five star hotel and I believed him after seeing how well those two angels and the rest of the staff cared for him like family until the end. They was his family away from home and I’ll forever be thankful. Don’t worry about your loved ones here. Thank you so much Liz and Stephanie."

"I rate our experience with this provider as average. The facility itself is usually clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. They have several activities for the residents to participate in. I don't like how the residents seem to lose their individuality though. By this I mean the staff tends to dress the residents in each others clothes just because it's what handy and it fits. Just because they are elderly and in my father's case, have dementia, doesn't mean that they completely forget who they are. Let them have their dignity. "

"I am currently a patient in Crestview. Been here a month. Physical threapy rates 5 star: RN'S a 4 star: Techs a 2 to 3 star depending on the person and the shift. My room is cleaned everyday. I have friends that come in here and not one says it is anything but clean: have a new manager 4 star: food 1 star, it is bad, but one meal a day would be something you could eat. Some great delivery places close: I have severe pain and need drugs at my room every 4 hours. That is a hard schedule to meet at any location give that a 3 star: the one reviewer doesn't know what she is talking about. This is the third location I have been in Nashville. From the part of town to what would be the not so good a part. All things considered, most of the people here do the best they can with all the stress that comes with this kind of work "

"I once had a high opinion of this facility. I still do compare to a lot of others because they do keep the residents clean and fed. But I became disappointed in them when they let my mother fall leading to her further decline. Although it's been two years since my mother's death I would probably recommend it if there were more staffs on hand."

"My mother in law was a long term resident at The Waters until she passed away last year. During her stay the staff was caring and compassionate, even though her medical conditions could make her a challenge. I would highly recommend doing your research and touring any facility you're considering placing your loved one in but The Waters was very good to my mother in law and our family!
