The staff is there because they care and love the residents. The social activities are like no other. Good home cooked meals."

"The experience I have obtained at Adams Place is that I go on a weekly basis to visit my Grandfather. The Staff always provides exemplenary service and always make sure that all patients including my grandfather are always taken care of in a professional manner. Adams Place has many activities and games that the patients can participate in, for example they have bible study and bingo, which my grandfather loves to partcipate in. They also have a workout room, where you can visit on a daily basis to improve your health and to get fit. Adams Place also has neat and well-kept rooms that the patients stay in, that I think are very beneficial for my grandfather. Sunnington Assisted Living is another facility that I am familiar with in Murfreesboro, TN. At Sunnington they also provide excellent service to guests and patients. I have found out that Sunnington Assisted Living has card games and bible study also for the patients to partcipate in. I have not seen a fitness room at Sunnington for me to evaluate. Overall I would have to say that I like Adams Place better, because I currently have my grandfather who stays there and is well taken care of and he has made some friends there, and he loves to do the activities that they have on a daily basis. I currently do not have any relatives of mine who currently stay at Sunnington Assisted Living. "

"Bethany Health and Rehab is a complete situation, but we could not afford to keep her there. It was clean and very nice. She has a private room, and the staff was great. "

"My father-in-law was at Nhc Healthcare. It was an older place, but overall, it was good. They were very good in helping us with the transfer from the hospital, so that was fairly smooth. The staff was very good in watching him. At the time, when he came, he was having a hard time walking. He was weak from his ailments. However, I think they did a good job of evaluating his situation for the most part. His room was more of a typical nursing home. He was in a room with two beds. He was there by himself, but it was set up such that it would hold two people. He received occupational therapy as well as physical therapy. They had an exercise room, but I do not remember seeing a library."

"I was immediately greeted by a receptionist who immediately paged a CNA to come to the front and escort me back to the room. The nurse came in after 20 minutes or so and updated me on his care and his progress. He was offered water about every 30 minutes and he was turned every 2 hours (almost on the dot). Before entering my granddad's room, the staff always knocked. The best facility I possible ever been at. I have always been quite impressed with my granddad's condition. "

"The Heritage at Brentwood is very upscale. We did not find negatives. There were plenty of activities. It's just such a change in lifestyle for us at this point so we have decided to postpone it. They had some golf-putting areas, some art classes, and two restaurants. They had super nice restaurants. The food was top quality. They had a nice bar area. They had an indoor swimming pool for exercise. They had exercise classes and a swimming pool. The food was five-star restaurant quality. It's ultra-high quality. The general appearance of the rooms was extremely good. You had several different choices, and the layout would have accommodated us fine because of those choices. The staff was very accommodating, very kind, and friendly. The place was very clean and very nice."

"Upon first entering this facility, it was not what we were expecting. It’s an older building but you can tell they are in the middle of small renovations. The staff on the 3rd floor were welcoming and treated my mom with respect immediately. It was later in the evening when she was admitted and the first thing she was asked was if she had supper. When she said no, a staff member named Heather (whom my mom has come to love) asked her what she would like, to which she replied a burger and fries from McDonald’s. They didn’t have to do that but it was ordered and mom really enjoyed it. The staff have continued to go above and beyond during her stay. I can’t say we are going to miss her being in the nursing home, but we are glad she will be returning home to us. Therapy has worked hard with her to ensure she has regained the strength she needs to be as independent as possible. The nurses, techs, nurse managers and director always were able to answer our questions and resolve any concerns we had. The housekeeping department kept her room very clean. Cedrick, I think was his name, always carries on conversations with her when he’s cleaning. The girl in laundry made sure she found any missing clothing and labeled them. The dietary department does their best, but it’s hard to satisfy the taste buds of 60 people. Overall this has been quite an adventure and the Heartland staff have helped us as a family navigate it well. "

"I can not imagine a better home for mom as she progresses with her Alzheimer's. She has lots of good, loving care and attention and a beautiful living environment. It is situated in a lovely neighborhood, safe, with lots of beautiful walking paths. The Blakeford provides stimulating activities where mom can be actively engaged. We are blessed to live close and are always welcome when we visit. It really is like home! "

"The rooms are rather spacious. The main nursing staff during the week was quite attentive and caring of my mom. The nurses were cheery and quick to take care of my mom's immediate needs. The therapy team was fabulous! I wish my mom could have continued with them. They were great at identifying her needs and capabilities and stayed completely focused on getting her ready for the next step in her surgery recovery journey. All of our anxieties were put to rest with Haley and Vivian articulating the process to us and communicating with each other as well as preparing an ongoing therapy regimen for after discharge. I would highly recommend them. "

"My mother was a resident of Belcourt Terrace for over 5 years before her passing in Nov., 2014. The last week of her life was spent in hospice at Belcourt with care provided in-house by their well trained staff. Her every need was met with exceptional medical care, dignity and compassion. I was even provided a bed and meals as I stayed with my mother 24/7 for over 5 days! The facility is very basic but the care by all of the staff which includes the cooks, techs, activity director and most importantly, the administrator, are the best. They all deeply care about each resident and know them by name as well as the resident's family members. The 'open door' policy is welcomed as any concerns are heard and acted upon. "
