"I have toured Tennessee Veterans' Home, they have various stages of care for whatever your person would need. The only staff person that stands out is the lady I've talked to on the telephone quite frequently. She's been really good about following up and getting me the documentation that I need. The staff was fine, they were very professional. They have various rooms depending on what your needs are. Their private rooms were a little small but they were very well-equipped. The atmosphere isn't institutionalized, it's more a family setting or a community setting. They are so much better than the senior places in Memphis, it's not even funny."

"5 stars is not adequate enough to describe the staff at Stones River. Before you choose a home for your mother or father, walk through several and then come to Stones River. This is a non-for profit facility so their ratio of staff to resident is off the chart. The previous place my mom was in there was one nurse for the entire facility. This place has a nurse per hallway."

"I went to AdamsPlace. It's very clean. The apartments are very spacious. The staff was very pleasant. They have all kinds of specialty rooms. They have a theater, a billiard room, an indoor Olympic swimming pool, a workout room, card rooms, like all kinds of rooms. It's just really, really nice, and clean. It's beautiful."

"A very clean and nice place , some of most of the staff are awesome Amber is 1 person whom i will never shes an angel and always puts me at ease when it comes to my mom, Brenda is on point, Lacey is very professional and no her stuff and the girl that always takes care of my mother and the 1 who does my mom hair thank you, Angie on the 2nd floor thanks. "My brother is at Boulevard Terrace. I have no complaints at all. Everybody is very nice. It’s good. I go and see him every singe day. I live in Nashville, so it is like a 30 to 45-minute drive. It’s very nice. The room is good. He is in a single room. It’s a private room. I’ve noticed that they have worship, and they have bingo. They put cards in everyone’s room. They’re very good at communicating. Everything that they do, they communicate with me. "

"The Heritage at Brentwood is very upscale. We did not find negatives. There were plenty of activities. It's just such a change in lifestyle for us at this point so we have decided to postpone it. They had some golf-putting areas, some art classes, and two restaurants. They had super nice restaurants. The food was top quality. They had a nice bar area. They had an indoor swimming pool for exercise. They had exercise classes and a swimming pool. The food was five-star restaurant quality. It's ultra-high quality. The general appearance of the rooms was extremely good. You had several different choices, and the layout would have accommodated us fine because of those choices. The staff was very accommodating, very kind, and friendly. The place was very clean and very nice."

"This place is Ahhhmazing! My mother did NOT want to be placed in a nursing home, but desperately needed help! I went in not knowing what to expect but was soooooo pleasantly surprised. The staff is caring, attentive, supportive, and you can tell they all have the heart for these patients. My mom loves the staff and has made several friends since her admission. Do yourself a favor and take your loved ones to Heartland if you ever need a skilled facility :) "

"Community Care is top notch. My family member has been in other facilities, and CCRC is by far the best. The nurses are caring, knowledgeable, and well-informed. They get to know each resident’s personality, likes and dislikes, as well as the family; residents are shown so much respect. When there are any changes in my loved one’s health, meds, attitude, etc, I am notified immediately. We love the animals in the facility because it makes it feel like home. Yes, the facility is old, but it is very well maintained and is always very clean. "

"My mom is at NHC Place at Cool Springs, and they have a caring staff. The facility is clean and well run too. They have a TV, a garden outside, a recreation room, a dining room, as well as a hair salon. The only activity I have seen is they do art class and exercise class. They have well-trained staff, so that makes it worthwhile."

"Blakeford at Green Hills was quite nice, but I did not like the location. I had lunch with them, the food was excellent, and the staff was excellent. The rooms were quite nice. It is a beautiful facility."

"Excellant care!! My brother was in this facility for several months. He had to go back to the hospital several times and they kept a room for him each time. The staff was terriffic . Everyone from the director to the techs took the time to help the family as well as the patient. They really cared about my brother and took fantastic care of him. I would recommend this facility to anyone !!! "

The employees were very friendly and eager to assist us. The residents were also very nice and friendly. My uncle was impressed by the many activities that was going on at the home.
