AdamsPlace was a great place. It's just very expensive for what we can afford. It's very nice and very high-end. They have a lot of activities. They take care of everything. They go everywhere from rehab to full stay there. It's very professionally run, they kept you informed, and it's top-notch. My father was there for rehab and they did a great job with him. It was like a resort. The staff was very professional and very caring. The food was great. They had areas they could go to and walk to and have things to do. They take you off campus if they had trips scheduled. It's a pretty large complex. It's not cheap, but it's worth whatever it is you're paying. They got my father back to normal health quickly. They didn't let him go too early. They didn't let him go too late. They did a good job.

I went to AdamsPlace. It's very clean. The apartments are very spacious. The staff was very pleasant. They have all kinds of specialty rooms. They have a theater, a billiard room, an indoor Olympic swimming pool, a workout room, card rooms, like all kinds of rooms. It's just really, really nice, and clean. It's beautiful.

Toxic environment. Charged for services not rendered and were asking for more money. Mother's clothes constantly stolen, Drs wanting to perform procedures even though she had an advanced directive. Person in charge was extremely rude, condescending, and aggressive. Found my mother in dirty diapers every time I visited. Also found months worth of colostomy supplies which made me wonder if they even assisted in changing the bag. Charging $6000 for care and when I asked them to do something they said she was independent. If she was independent, she be living at home. This is supposed to be ASSISTED LIVING. They did as little as they possible could. They didn't even know that a UTI can cause confusion. They wanted to send my mother out for a psych eval and psych meds. I told them to check her urine and it was discovered she had a urinary tract infection. Simple fix. Not impressed at all.

We've decided to keep my mom at AdamsPlace. The quality of care is excellent. It's like living in an old, beautiful southern mansion. It's stately, and it's well-kept. My sister and I looked at every facility in Murfreesboro that had different levels of care and it was the nicest of all of them. We were astounded when we went in because it was so beautiful, and we thought we could not afford it. But it was right on par with all of the other independent living places, in fact, less costly than some. The upkeep is immaculate. They just recarpeted downstairs and they plan to recarpet all the different floors. It's sparkling clean. You walk into the lobby, and its big marble floors. The big main room has a fireplace, a baby grand piano, and a lot of seating. They have a lot of music events and a lot of things for the residents to do. Mom is playing bridge with a group. It's like being in a real community home. There's a library that goes there once a week and they got to know the kinds of books mom liked and that she needed large print, so they would bring special books for her. I'm sure they did that for everybody. First Bank in Murfreesboro comes once a week, so the residents don't have to go to the bank if they don't want to. Plus, there's a guy there who takes you anywhere you want to go. All you have to do is call him. And they have regular schedules to take them to the grocery stores a couple of times a week. The place is fully staffed by full-time employees. There are no temporary employees there, which I think is a real advantage. Everybody that works there is so kind and so nice, up to the director who would see me any time. She knows me by name. She knows all the residents by name. The person that cleaned mom's room got to be friends with her. It is just very much her home. She has a 1-bedroom apartment, and it is perfect for her. They have different sizes of apartments. You can get two bedrooms or you can get a bedroom with a den. We opted to go with the smallest one, but we're amazed at how much of her furniture fit in there. Her couch, two end tables, a coffee table, two chairs, a TV, and a kitchen table all sit in the main area without being crowded. The grounds are beautiful. In independent living, she gets one meal a day. She can choose whether that's lunch or dinner. And the dining room is gorgeous. She sits with a certain group of ladies and the person that waits on them knows all of their preferences without even asking. She knows that mom doesn't like ice in her water and so she never brought her water with ice. It is just very, very personalized care. I had eaten there several times and it was OK. I wouldn't say it was great, but it was good. They have some problems keeping a chef. The food is better than average, but not restaurant quality. During the COVID, they brought everybody's food to the room.

My friend chose to stay at AdamsPlace. So far, it has been very good. I think it remains to be seen when she fully moves over into an assisted living apartment, but so far, she's been very happy with the care that she's received there. The interaction that I've had with the staff has been very favorable. I did meet a nurse over there when I went into the rehab center. The rooms are very well done and very well kept, from what I can tell. They have a library there. They had her on a restricted diet because she's diabetic. She seems to be very happy there. She is very peculiar and very picky about things. I think if she's happy, then that's a good step.

My wife did some rehab at Adams Place and the staff was just fantastic,as well as the food. Everything about the place was top of the line. They were caring people, well-trained, friendly, and they did all they could to take care of her. It was very clean, very nice, and more down-home.

My mother entered this facility covid free for rehab. They tested her for covid regularly. The family was not allowed to visit. While at Adams place she contracted covid from several nurses who tested positive. Adams Place insisted that she could leave the facility, but as long as she was positive, her long term care provider could not accept her. Adams Place was not honest with us about her condition, transported her to St. Thomas Rutherford where she died of covid. Do not send your love ones to Adams Place.

I did a full tour of Adams Place. It's a very nice place and it's my third choice. It seemed to be newer, but there didn't seem to be a lot of staff present there. They have a large range of activity choices and were probably more varied than the place we chose. They set up one area with a little bit of an art studio. It's a wonderful community. I looked at the calendar they have going up each month, and they have games and group activities. It's also the most expensive among those I visited. I only met and interacted with the director who took me on the tour. She was very professional and I have certainly no reservations or concerns in dealing with her. They were serving dinner in one of the areas and I thought that the aroma was really good. They're a top-rated community.

The building has problems that are not being taken care of by the lady director. Very poor attention given or letting residents know when they will be done. Lights are out by doorways & parking areas. Smells terrible in hallways. The fountain was broken for months, left trash in the front of building. Had a filthy diaper by cars which no one cleaned or cared to throw away. Many residents complain about the lack of repairs being done. Poor way to do resident's who are paying a high price to live there. Need better supervision and better communication from the top leaders.

Most of the nurses are burnt out & just do not care. Techs are overworked & overwhelmed. Residents have long waits for even minor care needs. We are looking for another facility.

My mother-in-law is currently at Adams Place for rehab. It's relatively new, it's in very good shape, and it appears to be very well staffed. The food seems to be good. They seem to be very good both in the physical therapy OT side and the nursing side.

Adams Place is extra grand and extra nice. It is gorgeous. This one is a very pampered nursing home, with assisted living and memory care. The complex has been there for a couple of decades now. They just re-did their memory care unit. Their cafeteria and rec room is all one massive room. The eating area is shaped like a big square U, so people can just come over and get whatever they want whenever they want it. You can have your own furniture, which is wonderful. The staff members were great, and the food was excellent. They take residents on field trips, even the people in the memory care section, which is wonderful. I really like that. Also, it is $1,600 cheaper per month.

My mom has moved into Adams Place this past weekend. It has so many activities and is very clean. The people seem very friendly. It really seems great from what we can tell. It's very clean, has very nice surroundings, and everything seems perfect for her. She has had one meal so far, and she said it was really good. The amenities are great and the room is good but a little small. It has a kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a little balcony. She has interacted with a lot of the staff who have been very helpful and pleasant, and she has met a lot of the other residents who all have talked highly about the place. I think it is really going to be good for her. The big thing with mom is she has a cat and a little dog, and they allowed her to take the cat and the dog with her; she wasn’t going to go any place that will not allow her to take her animals. I thought the whole place was assisted living, but there are no doctors or nurses on her floor, just apartments. It doesn’t even seem like a hospital or medical facility, but they told her that that is available if she needs it.

I visited Adams House (Adams Place), and it was probably the nicest of all the facilities, but it a little too expensive for me. I thought it was a three story building. They actually had assisted living on the premises. They had independent living series of apartments, and then they had a separate building that had assisted living in it. If you needed it, they could move you from one building to the other. That was nice. The property itself was really. It was not like moving to a home. The décor was absolutely beautiful. The only thing wrong with it was that it cost too much, but I could understand why it cost too much because it cost more to keep that place up. The location was nice. It was close to some shopping, and there were several restaurants within a ten-minute drive. That was important to me because I was still mobile, and I would like to go out of the facility.

The employees are very nice, but there are not enough of them ! Your loved one is pretty much on their own. When we have rang the nurse button for help, we have waited 20-30 minutes. It makes you want to stay 24-7 to make sure they are taken care of. They really could use a ward clerk or unit secretary to answer the call lights and pass the messages to the nursing staff. This is an expensive place and supposed to be excellent, but it's not. They also call this a skilled nursing facility but it is just a rehab. As much money as the Adams have, they should be ashamed that they do not have enough nursing personnel or a ward clerk.

The experience I have obtained at Adams Place is that I go on a weekly basis to visit my Grandfather. The Staff always provides exemplenary service and always make sure that all patients including my grandfather are always taken care of in a professional manner. Adams Place has many activities and games that the patients can participate in, for example they have bible study and bingo, which my grandfather loves to partcipate in. They also have a workout room, where you can visit on a daily basis to improve your health and to get fit. Adams Place also has neat and well-kept rooms that the patients stay in, that I think are very beneficial for my grandfather. Sunnington Assisted Living is another facility that I am familiar with in Murfreesboro, TN. At Sunnington they also provide excellent service to guests and patients. I have found out that Sunnington Assisted Living has card games and bible study also for the patients to partcipate in. I have not seen a fitness room at Sunnington for me to evaluate. Overall I would have to say that I like Adams Place better, because I currently have my grandfather who stays there and is well taken care of and he has made some friends there, and he loves to do the activities that they have on a daily basis. I currently do not have any relatives of mine who currently stay at Sunnington Assisted Living.

I was very pleased with the Adams Place facility. The staff was extremely kind to both visitors and the people living in the facility. The residents were extremely pleased and you could tell they were comfortable where they are. The staff schedules events for the residents which include music and theater. There is a dining hall that has fantastic food and a wait staff that caters to the residents needs. Although the facility is expensive, it is worth every dime to know that your family member is happy and well taken care of. I would not hesitate to use this facility for a family member. Adams Place hosts holiday events for family and residents. Their medical staff is well trained and knowledgable about their population. The décor is contemporary and well-suited for the residents, while each resident is permitted to decorate their own living quarters to their liking. I feel that this is a warm, welcoming, and exquisite facility.
