My brother-in-law moved into American House Murfreesboro. They were open, and they asked financially where I was to be able to assist him so that we didn't waste each other's time, and that was important to me. They worked with me on the services they could provide within my budget. My brother-in-law seems thrilled about the food. Everyone that I have met seems very focused, not just on the client, but also on ensuring that they meet the requirements of the legal system. They just put new flooring down, so they're working on upgrades. They have an activities director, and they also do outside activities. They have music night and bingo night. They have a nice dining area set up, as well, just for them to gather. There are cards and all kinds of things.

American House Murfreesboro looked like a good facility, and the people were very active. It was relatively clean. The staff was very hospitable, very helpful, and friendly. Everything was as good as or better than the other facilities I've been to. They had a salon, an outdoor area, a courtyard, and nursing staff.

I liked that American House Murfreesboro had lots of activities. The lady that took me in was very knowledgeable about the programs and what the facility could provide. She answered all our questions. They all seemed like they would be more appropriate for my mother. They had live music, a courtyard, a game room, and a TV room.

American House Murfreesboro was well laid out, but the upkeep was not that great on the memory care side. It needed to be painted and it looked a little rundown. The main entrance when you walked in was perfectly fine, but the memory care side was a little different. The room was not clean. They didn't have any freshly redone rooms. It looked like someone had just moved out, so it was a little dirty, and it needed to be painted and cleaned. I didn't get to see one that was move-in ready. The person that assisted me was wonderful, very attentive, and answered all my questions, and she asked questions about my mom. She seemed very nice and well equipped to answer questions for dementia patients. She was really good. I did not get to sample the food, but I saw the dining area. The dining area looked good and looked clean. It was just the upkeep of the facility in memory care that needed some work. It was on a Saturday, so there wasn't a lot of activities going on. The upkeep of the building needs to be improved.

I got to tour the American House Murfreesboro. The poor lady was a little overwhelmed that day, she had a lot going on. When I went there, there was a person there trying to entertain the residents and they were asking her questions, and the staff members were coming in and out of the office, and that wasn't her fault. It was just busy that day so she couldn't really focus on me so much, so the tour wasn't the best. The rooms were nice, they're a nice size, and the one that I looked at had a nice view of the courtyard, which I liked. It was pretty basic, just a big room with a bathroom. It was also all one story, which I liked too, so that was good. The dining area looked lovely, but I did not see food or talk about food. They have an activities director, they had some music going on and they had bingo going on, and they have some group exercise classes. They have two or three different activity rooms and they do a lot of activities.

I have toured American House Murfreesboro, they have been the most helpful and they call me on a regular basis. Anytime they've got something that they think is new or might work, they will call me and keep me informed. The staff there is super good, it's a very family-oriented place. They have nice big rooms, you can have private rooms or you can have a shared room, which means you have two private bedrooms where they share a bath. They also have a locked facility and a place for memory care. And the people that are there would come up to me and say, "Oh, are you moving in?" or ask if I would want to play cards with them. They were very engaging so it made me feel like the people that were there felt like that was a big family community. The private rooms are very large and very nice, and then they have TV rooms, card rooms and various things for you to do and visit and hang out. I found the residents that were there were very friendly, they were very congenial. The staff members were fabulous. I saw that they have exercise classes, people were doing their morning walks and they were doing they had card games. They had a group of people that were doing handcraft work, they had arts and crafts and just all sorts of things. It was very homey, I would pick this place over any of them if my ex-spouse could afford it. They're not super expensive, it's just the fact that he doesn't have the income to stay there. The dining room was lovely, they have china and tablecloths, and it's not institutionalized. It's like going to an aunt or uncle's house for dinner.

The lady at American House Murfreesboro has been a godsend. She and I still communicate. I loved the place, the amenities were great, and the people were extremely nice. They were fabulous. They took their time to find out what I needed, and what my concerns were. They did some research to try to get everything squared away for me. I'm still in contact with them. They still call me, send me an email, or text every couple of months just to see what's going on and how things are. I toured the assisted living side and the place was fabulous and they're wonderful. It was extremely neat and clean, and it smelled fresh. I was all over the facility and there was never anything that didn't look like it was maintained exceptionally well. I didn't eat the food but the dining area was lovely. They were playing cards, and some were playing games when we were there. They had a TV room too. Everybody was extremely friendly and I had several residents come up and want to know if I was moving in or what. The lady who assisted me was fabulous. I was looking for another email that I got from her to see if I could see what her name was because she went above and beyond the call. She knew that I was working with a very limited budget. She was trying to see if there was some other way that we could get something squared away for me that would work and she was just wonderful.

It was a good place. The rooms they had available at that time were just studio apartments. The staff during the tour was very helpful and very knowledgeable about everything. They're in the process of redoing a lot of things. It's a very good facility. I saw their board of all the different things that they had each day. The staff was very professional.

It was extremely clean, and everybody was extremely happy there. I talked to several residents. Several residents came up and greeted me. They wanted to know if I was moving in or if I was looking for somebody else. They were just very happy living there. The place is bright and sunny. People were very caring, and I was very appreciative of that. They were concerned about what I needed, when I needed it, and gave me some resources and things to check on to see if I could get some help quicker. So they were right on top of their game. The rooms were really nicely appointed, and there was plenty of room. You could even have a full size bed, as opposed to a twin bed if you wanted to. The room that I liked the best was their model room. They said I could have that if I wanted. It was at the end of the hallway. It had a big, big picture window looking out onto the gardens. You could probably see the traffic if you really wanted to. It was very, very nicely appointed and had plenty of room. The dining room was very well appointed. You weren't all sitting on top of each other. There was room for you to have a discussion at your table without hearing 15 other conversations. It was done like a nice upscale restaurant with tablecloths. It was very nice. They had a nice living open area. When you walked in, everything was very open and they had lots of room for various activities. They have some arts and crafts. They play games, and they have exercise rooms. They even have smaller rooms for different things like if you want to just go visit with your family or watch TV. There's also a nice library. I would move in there if I lived in that area. It was very nice, and the staff is fabulous.

I liked everything about it. The staff was wonderful. The place is wonderful. They're getting ready to remodel. The whole vibe there was really nice. They're really nice people, and really caring. It was clean. The rooms and the dining room were really nice. Overall, the place was good. The staff was excellent. They made us feel really welcome. They have a beauty shop. They also have a therapy room, where they give you therapy and you can workout.

I was here this morning. My impression was very good. The layout was like a square, each section was like a little square that ran into each other, and I noticed quite a few gentlemen that were in those apartments. The staff member was very nice, very accommodating, made sure I saw everything, and answered all my questions. I didn't have a bit of trouble with them, it was just the rooms, they were small. I checked the dining area, but I did not have a chance to try the food. There wasn't anybody in there, and it was neat and clean.

We chose this place because of key code on front door, nice rooms, very welcoming and responsive staff for any issues thus far, and very good food. Rooms are clean and bright with nice views of courtyard or outer area. Dining room has tables far enough apart for walkers and quiet enough for hearing aids. Its a bit older but only 1 story high so easy navigation for those with some memory issues. I think because of simple design that my loved one will be able to stay in assisted living longer before needing more expensive memory care. Rated 4 stars so far because he has been there less than a month. No complaints at all so far.

We toured. Some rooms were shared, and some were private. Only one person assisted me, and I asked to see the Alzheimer's ward.

My husband hasn’t been transported to this community yet, but I have already put his furniture in there. He got to the point where I had to find a place quick, so I had set up a visit with them first. I was going to visit a couple more, but I liked this one, so I stopped there. It is fairly clean, and it smells clean. You don’t go in there and smell a musty odor because it is a place where seniors are and stuff; you don’t have any of that in there. It is also homey. It is a nice comfortable feeling when you go in. Everyone was nice, considerate, and gave me a lot of attention to explain things to me.

It was a lot older. I didn’t like the rooms because they didn’t have any little kitchens. I didn’t see as many people doing things, but there were a lot of people sitting around. It was a little older, and I think they are trying to keep up, but they didn’t really have the resources. The rooms were small.

It is very warm, inviting, and homey. It was two miles from my home, so it was convenient. The staff is extremely caring and attentive to my mom.

We visited for my mother-in-law. I was very impressed with the girl who accommodated me. She showed me the rooms, and I like it a lot. It was beautiful. They have a lot of activities for their residents. They also have a bus that could take them shopping.

Our experience was not good. The food was not good, the staff was not professional, and my husband felt mistreated. They must have a well-trained staff.

This is a terrible place. Nurses and staff are unprofessional, rooms are not kept clean, medication not given on time or too many times. This is not a good place for dementia patients. Very dreary also.

My mom is here, and we chose it because, for one thing, it is not only an assisted living, but it also has a memory care unit, and my mother has Alzheimer's. They have a couple of different cares. I like it for my mom because it has more of an everyday living look. They have rocking chairs on the porch, and when you go in, they have couches in their reception area. They also have a piano and a radio that they play. It seems to fit elderly people, who seem to like certain things in certain ways. The staff is very nice and the care is good. I guess the rooms are average. The food is very good. They have activities like bingo, bible studies, word games, and music. I was there a minute ago, and they are having a music concert. They go on walking trips. They go to Walmart or go out to eat. My mother has her physical therapy, and they seem to have quite a few things to do. It also fit my parents' budget. However, they can improve on having more staff during the weekend.
