The rooms are rather spacious. The main nursing staff during the week was quite attentive and caring of my mom. The nurses were cheery and quick to take care of my mom's immediate needs. The therapy team was fabulous! I wish my mom could have continued with them. They were great at identifying her needs and capabilities and stayed completely focused on getting her ready for the next step in her surgery recovery journey. All of our anxieties were put to rest with Haley and Vivian articulating the process to us and communicating with each other as well as preparing an ongoing therapy regimen for after discharge. I would highly recommend them.

My father was admitted into Green Hills Rehabilitation facility in Sept 2022 with severe neurological disease which left him bedridden, which he could barely move his arms and legs. He also needed a knee replacement, and his leg was extremely swollen and painful to the touch. The nurses during the day were fine, but the help staff were horrific. They would rarely answer calls, leaving him lying in urine-soaked sheets overnight. I walked in on one of them shoving food in his mouth fussing and shaking her head at him, angry that he couldn't feed himself. I told her I would do it just to get her out of the room. At night there was no supervisor in the building. Staff would play loud music all night, run around laughing and joking, multiple call notifications going off that they wouldn't respond to. My father said he would ring the button for assistance to go to the bathroom and he would wait for hours. When they finally came in they would get in his face and tease him saying someone might help you in the morning. We spoke with the daytime supervisor, and he apologized and said he would look into it. My 72 year old mother had to stay with him, sleeping upright in a chair all night to take care of my father for 4 days. In the middle of the night, one of the help staff didn't know she was in the room and came in and started going through my father's belongings, and then quickly left when he realized my mom was in the room. She experienced the same type of environment, loud music, no one answering the call alarms, no supervisor. On the last day, waiting to be discharged, we requested my father be changed since he was in soiled clothes. We left the room to give him privacy. He told us that when she was done changing him, she threw his bad leg across the bed in anger for having to change him. After hearing this I called the day supervisor again. He didn't really seem to care and said sorry that I still have concerns and that they do the best they can to provide for the patients. I have come across several other people that had to remove their family members from this facility due to poor care.

I went to Green Hills Center for Rehabilitation and Healing for my left leg. The facility was OK. They didn't have exercises though. I had a physical therapist that would walk with me, but they didn't have a bike or anything that I could ride to get my muscles moving. The only thing they wanted me to do was walk. I was there for three weeks. There were certain nurses there that I had to beg for a pain pill, but there were also some there that would just bring it to me. That didn't work for me. I got the same food every day. I got coddled eggs and bacon, and I didn't get protein drinks, which is what I needed. They could improve on the cleanliness because I shared a room with somebody. It was clean, but not to my standards. They could also improve on the food and have more physical therapy.

I recently had a relative who was a patient and I was very disappointed by every aspect of our family’s experience here. The made a very trying and difficult time so much worse than necessary by denying our family the right to be present with our loved one. We did not have the chance to be regularly present or involved with her care and there was very little communication about anything that was going on. They cited Covid as the basis for extremely harsh visitation policies but I was told by a state board of health official that NONE of their policies were actually recommended by the CDC at the time we were there (cases way down, vaccines available, etc) Staff is unfriendly and one person, on staff was actually hostile and dismissive on multiple occasions. Overall this was the worst experience I have ever had in dealing with a healthcare facility and I would not recommend it to anyone.

My dad was at Green Hills and my dad and my family had a great experience. My dad was there for over a year and I can honestly say that I felt good about his care and I rested well at night, because he was in good hands. I visited (and my sister) often and at varied times throughout the year and we always found him to be happy (even though he could be difficult at times) The staff KNEW my dad very well. He wasn't just a patient to them, he was "family".Many of the staff have been there for years and we could see the compassion they had tor those they cared for. It was tough for us to place dad in a nursing center, at first. But after we saw how he was cared for each and everyday, we knew it was the best thing for him and for us, especially my mom. You always "hear" the bad things, but believe me, the family members I got to know and talked with, felt good about this center and staff. Are things perfect? No, but actually it was a lot less than perfect at home. Id' recommend Green Hills any day!!

If I could, I would give zero stars for GHills. Do not let the name fool you - my relative was there and I am grateful her last 2 months were spent at another facility. There were maybe 2 good techs there and they are probably not there since they care about the patients and end up doing all the work. Had issues with techs being rough with my relative; and I'm sure this goes on everywhere but I want to warn people of our experiences. Always running out of supplies and I would not put another relative there. If you must, I would highly suggest to visit OFTEN, if not daily and at different times. Terrible place.

Never, ever, under any circumstances, send someone you love there. I choose this facility with out first seeing it for my mother's knee rehab. Worst mistake I have ever made. At first they put her into a large beautiful room. When I went to visit her she was in a small area with a room mate and I had to sit on a handicap potty in order to visit with her. No chairs. They rarely did any rehab. When the physician released her from rehab I took the written release in and took my mother home. That night, at 11:30 PM, I received a call from Jennifer, the director. She yelled that if I didn't have my mother back by 12:00 midnight she was going to have me arrested. I have since been ensured by law enforcement that she could not do that. I did not know that at the time.. I had to wake up my medicated mother, take her down two flights of stairs on a new knee, and drive her for 25 minutes back to the facility. I showed Jennifer the Dr.'s release and she crumpled it up in her hand. I got my mother out of there as soon as I could. She will never be going back. I tried to give this place no stars but the system would not allow it.

Excellant care!! My brother was in this facility for several months. He had to go back to the hospital several times and they kept a room for him each time. The staff was terriffic . Everyone from the director to the techs took the time to help the family as well as the patient. They really cared about my brother and took fantastic care of him. I would recommend this facility to anyone !!!

Do not send your loved one here. They are very short staffed. The place was dirty and the food is horrible. You are lucky if the patient calls for the nurse when they come. Some times they never come.

My mother-in-law was at Greenhills Health and Rehab. The place was horrendous. They didn't change her clothes. We found my mother-in-law wet 24 hours in the same clothes and dirty. We complained to them and they said it would never happen again, but it happened again four days in a row. They came in and changed my mother-in-law, but then they didn't wash her off, so it was like using the same clothes again. That's not the only complaint we had. It was constantly something, like not changing the linens and not cleaning the room. We were there every day, and I said, "What would they be doing if we weren't here?" It was really scary. The security seemed to be fine, though. Their food was OK; I would say it was mediocre.

Excellent care. My mother was there after hip revision surgery in 2012. The day staff was very attentive. The night staff checked on her every 2 hrs for medication and saw to her needs. When she was able, they had her in physical therapy daily. They had plenty of activities and refreshments for the residents and their family members and a therapy dog who comes around once a week to see the residents. Another plus is they allow a family member to stay the night if the resident wishes it. I highly recommend Green Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center to those looking for a place to recover and receive therapy.

My mother and I were a little worried that the facility would not be able to handle my aunt, because when she was in good health she could be pretty demanding. But when we visited her last week, we met with the director of nursing and they walked us through her medical plan and told us how well she was doing. The nursing staff was so friendly to us and seemed to be perfect with my aunt. Since the stroke she has trouble speaking clearly so she has been taking classes from this wonderful doctor who is performing miracles with her. We were very surprised to hear that if her treatment continues to go well she will be able to go back home in six months. The nursing staff is always there when she needs them and all she has to do is use her buzzer to get them. She is happy and we can hardly wait for her to get to go home.
