We toured The Rivers at Maryland Farms. We went into one of the rooms. The people were very helpful and very kind. It was very clean and updated. The room size was good. The area was great. My father really liked that one, but the other one is closer to where all their doctors are, the hospital and all that, so he wanted to stick with that one because of that. The dining area was awesome. It was wonderful. Their price was reasonable, and the parking situation was great. It was really convenient.

We toured The Rivers at Maryland Farms. It's a beautiful location, and I love the facility, and I love the girl who was walking us through the facility. Everybody was so sweet and kind. They all seemed happy. We had an opportunity to talk to some people who lived there, and they were very pleased with the facility, but it was a 45-minute drive from us, which was just a little too far. We met with Sidney, the admissions director, and Katie, the activities director. They were all just as sweet as could be. The facilities were amazing. They had monitors on the floor that detect a fall, and then the cameras in the rooms would have picked up on that motion detectors once they determined that somebody fell, and they would be able to get to them a lot quicker. That was a great selling point. The rooms were beautiful. The rooms are well maintained and taken care of, and they have all their in-house staff for cleaning.
