"My mother is in Keestone at the Hewitt House. It's fine so far. I can't think of anything that they don't have that they could want. It serves the purpose. It's beautiful and well kept. They offer all kinds of amenities and activities, like games, ice cream socials, arts and crafts, and movies. The staff knows what they're doing. They've been friendly and patient. The residents have been satisfied with the food."

"My mother-in-law was in a rehab in Life Care Center. She loved it there. She even wanted to stay there. The facility was very attractive and beautiful. It also smelled clean. They were always cleaning the place. The staff was awesome. The food was good. She was in a room with another person. She had physical therapy which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her Medicare only paid for her to be there for 21 days. However, she needed to stay there for another two to three months because they said she needed more rehab. When we started self-paying, we were given a very good reduced rate. They were just awesome. "

"The Bridge at Columbia was beautiful but expensive. It was a new facility. It was very clean. I talked with some of their residents because I want to know how they like this place and they seemed happy being there. I saw their activities and they were very good. I never did eat there but I saw their menu and I was pleased with it. "

"We like The Reserve at Spring Hill and my mother-in-law is living there now. It's a very nice community and she's very happy. I haven't tasted the food but she's very pleased with it. Their staff is very nice and very helpful. They've answered all our calls and taken care of just about everything we have requested. The reason we picked this place, was because when I visited the residents were playing cards in the dining room and they were whooping it up like you wouldn't believe. They were having so much fun, and that's what I wanted for my mother-in-law. She's been meeting a lot of people there and it's been very good for her. She raves about the food and she's really happy about it. I think it's a good value for my money."

"My sister and her husband moved to Morning Pointe of Spring Hill (TN) just over a year ago. The facility is spacious, bright, and clean. The staff are wonderful and truly care about the residents. The 2 bedroom had been wonderful; the family uses one as a bedroom and the other as a living room. This allows space for the living area to accommodate a table and chairs. The food!!! Oh my, it is delicious and served in the manner if a top notch restaurant. I emulated all options as a 5, because they are!"

"I moved my mom to Village Manor. We chose it because it has lower rent, and they have a menu she can choose from. The food is very good, and there is plenty of it. Their dining area and their rooms are large and spacious. It also has a bigger layout and space. The staff is very positive and pleasant. They have activities like games, exercises, and bible study, and they have people come in to sing and play the piano. "

"My in-laws are staying at Southern Care. My overall experience has been very good. The woman who runs the place always listens to my complaints and tries to take care of them. I have no problem talking to her anytime I need to. They keep me informed too. The nurses are great. It is an older place, but I feel like my in-laws get the care that they need. If they need a doctor, they call in a nurse practitioner or a doctor. Some people there need nursing care, but from what I have seen, everybody is treated very nicely. My mother-in-law is very picky, but they do everything they can to make her happy. It is a good place. The staff members are always available. The living atmosphere is fine. My in-laws have a living room and a bedroom. The food is very good too. If they don't like what they're serving they fix them a sandwich or something else. They don't have as many activities as others have. They don't have outings because most of the people don't go out because a lot of them are in wheelchairs. However, I feel like my in-laws are more comfortable, and the people care about the residents. My father-in-law has incontinence. They check him in the middle of the night. If he needs changing, they change him, and if he needs cleaning up, they clean him up. There is lots of care and that is more important than other things. They play bingo, have classes, and do crafts. They have music people come in and play. They also have church people come in."

"I live in Somerby Franklin right now. I love it. I just can't afford to stay here. I love the staff. They're great, except for the people who clean the rooms. The cleaning isn't so great. The rooms are great. I took a bigger space than I need, so I'm in a two-bedroom and I only need a one-bedroom. I anticipated much more company that I'm getting. The food is great. We have a wonderful chef here. There's a pool, a library, a gym, and a card room where people play cards. The biggest thing for me is the residents that I've met here. I'm an outgoing people person and I found some very good people who click with me."

"My mom moved into Maristone of Franklin. So far the staff is very competent. They're a small facility with only 40 units so you get better care in a smaller setting. They have great activities and a great dining facility. The location was great for me and it just felt like it was the right place for my mother. The room has new carpeting in the bedroom, new wood floors in the living room, new appliances in the kitchenette, and new paint. They just replaced a new HVAC system so it has undergone some recent renovations. The chef is a trained culinary graduate and she makes everything from scratch with no processed ingredients, which I think is good."

"I looked at the Fountains of Franklin. They have villas, but they were all occupied. They also showed me some assisted living places. They have some people who are independent but living in assisted living, that's in the main building. What I like about those are the rooms are very large and very well-kept. Our primary interest is in the villa but it's not available for quite a while. They plan to build some more, but they only have like 10 units and a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom place. The prices seemed a little high. Looking inside the menu that they offer, it's very much limited compared to the other place I toured. They offer three meals a day if you're staying inside the assisted living. And if you're living in the villas, I think it was 20 meals a month. There's only one staff person I dealt with, she had brochures that explain everything and she took us to one outstanding apartment. But it's more than I want to pay because I don't need assisted living. I saw several ladies coming back from a field trip on a bus, and another couple working on a puzzle. The fitness room was very small and had very, very limited equipment."

"No complaint with the staff, the facility, everything. The scenery is beautiful, and the place is spotless, very clean. All the staff from nurses to the administration couldn’t be better at NHC Place. "

"My wife is in Life Care Center of Centerville. It is a rehab type home and lockdown facility where she can be protected. We put here there because she was falling a lot and needs headgear around the clock. I think the staff is doing an excellent job. They seem to be taking care of my wife. She fell about 4 or 5 times, and they made sure that there was nothing badly wrong with her. Since then, they have been very aware of that, and she has not been having falls for the last several months. "
