I toured Poplar Estates Senior Living Community. They're the best that I found. The staff was excellent. They're personable and very knowledgeable, and they take care of the people with an excellent passion. They've got outdoor spaces. They've got a central courtyard.

This is a top notch facility. My father has been there for about a year now. I now have personal relationships with the staff as they treat us all like their family. I am impressed with the time they take to understand each resident and find out their interests. My Dad likes NFL 24/7 and they make sure his tv is on and volume is to his liking. They are very quick to respond to my questions and inform me of any needs for my Dad. Jennifer and Dawn are very fair and hands on with the residents. Machalia is fantastic with his medical care. Angie and the other team members are very informative. Ms Yvonne in the kitchen is so sweet to my Dad and always has a smile. Sandy is great with activities. JR takes care of my Dads maintainence needs immediately and talks to him like a friend. My Dad had to go to SNF for a month and there is a definite difference in the personalization of his care. He is treated with respect at Poplar and they make him feel he is at home and happy. The rooms are very nice and roomy for family to visit. I also like how they keep my Dad's hair cut and clean shaved. I would highly recommend Poplar for your family if needed.

My aunt will move into Poplar Estates after Christmas. We chose this facility because they do the aging in place and when you spend half of your own money, they can switch to Medicare. They also have a memory care unit in it. It's within reason as far as distance for us. My aunt got a 1-bedroom apartment. The staff is very kind. They're like a family. The facility is in good condition, it offers a lot, and it's very comfortable. It seems clean, too. I really enjoyed it. I like that they had a 1-bedroom available when we needed it; it's clean and nice, it's got brand new blinds, and it's very spacious. The staff was very helpful.

We placed my mom in Poplar Estates, and they were great. We picked this place because it's all-inclusive in terms of the help that she's going to need. The rooms are just right for my mom and includes a little kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator, a living room, and a separate bedroom. It was just one big room with everything in, like a little apartment. I have eaten with my mom several times, and the food is good. Everybody is extremely friendly. They have an activity room where they have activities every day.

Poplar Estates was very nice. I don't have anything bad to say about it. We visited this place for my mother-in-law. The facility was clean. Their rooms were very nice. Their staff was excellent. You can see the way that they are really taking care of all of their patients. The staff that entertained me during my visit was fine. They were very accommodating. Overall, it was very nice but we could not afford it.
