"My mom will be moving into The Capstone at Station Camp. It had excellent reviews. It is closer to my home. It is very elegant and very well laid out. They have outdoor areas for dining, visiting, and grilling. They have a putting green. They have a nice dining room where you can order from their menu and as well as for their daily meals. They offer snacks seven to seven. They have a lot of good activities that are more geared to something that my mom would want to do. They have a salon. I chose the one-bedroom. They also have housekeeping. Everything is immaculate. I haven't tried their meals, but I've seen them come out, and it all looks fresh. They have a hydration station. It's almost like a high-end hotel in the lobby and dining area. The staff members are extremely friendly. They know the residents by name, and I like that."

"I like my tour of Charter Senior Living of Hermitage. They were very nice and very polite, and the staff took a lot of time with me and talked with me. Plus, the people there seemed very happy, we walked through it and it was a nice place. The lady that I talked with was interested in what I was asking about and we talked for a long time. They pretty much had everything that would be needed, everything was right there. They had a beauty salon, and barbershop, and most of them had pendants that the people could wear in case they fell or something. I was impressed with those things. They also had a nice little courtyard and a gardening place if they would like to garden."

"Brookdale Gallatin was very nice, but the housing coordinator person was a high pressure salesman. The communication between he and the other woman that worked in the office was very strange. She was asking questions that sounded like my uncle would be moving in that night. It's bad communication wise, but the facility was good looking and clean. There were little apartments, and they were all nice. "

"I toured Belmont Village Green Hills. It's a quieter, low-key place and very happy, with high-quality service. It's very clean and they've recently renovated it. My grandmother had been there for about five years before she passed away, and I liked it back then, but they've made it even nicer since then. It's like new paint, very clean. They have a new chef, who's from Italy, so the food's even better than it was. I looked at their menu, and they were saying how amazing the chef is, and that they have a lot of options that are switched out daily, but then they have a regular menu that's always the same as well. Christy was very experienced, knowledgeable, and compassionate."

"I really liked it, but they are an assisted living facility and not memory care, so it was not as secure. The residents can just walk out and that was a concern to me. I would've certainly considered it as a good place for my parents if the memory care was not so important. The facility was not as new or upscale feeling as the others. It was more of a country home type feeling. The staff seemed very nice and the lady that gave us the tour was really good. She was very committed to showing us around and giving us all the information we needed to make a decision. The dining area appeared very nice. They gave us banana bread and it was delicious. The rooms were very homey and very comfortable, more so than any place else that I visited."

"Cumberland at Green Hills was too far away from my daughter's house but I visited it. The staff were amenable and cooperative. The facility was clean and airy. I saw a list of activities but I was not able to see one. The residents were also very friendly. "

"Beautiful facility and very sweet staff. Management knows her residents and they know and like her I’ve found everyone to be so helpful to me and my Mom. I’ve only had one small problem that was fixed immediately and has never happen again. Very pleased with Vantage Point "

"We were very pleased with our visit. The rooms were very nice, a little small, but large for what we were looking at and nicely appointed. The dining room looked very nice; we looked at the menu, and it was a nice menu for my mom. "

"I toured Brookdale Belle Meade, and my interaction with the staff was great. The person giving me the tour was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I had a meal while I was there, and it was an enjoyable meal. The facility and the rooms looked nice. So, if I were thinking of going there, it would be a good place. One thing that I was concerned about was the areas for walking outside and also the limited parking spaces. When it comes to price per month, that's probably the upper end I've looked at so far. The facilities were in good shape."

"We toured The Rivers at Maryland Farms. We went into one of the rooms. The people were very helpful and very kind. It was very clean and updated. The room size was good. The area was great. My father really liked that one, but the other one is closer to where all their doctors are, the hospital and all that, so he wanted to stick with that one because of that. The dining area was awesome. It was wonderful. Their price was reasonable, and the parking situation was great. It was really convenient."

"My friend moved into The Lodge at Natchez Trace last month. When you walk in, it looks like a country lodge -- a great-big, open room, with high, beamed ceilings, furnished nicely, not overly fancy, but very, very nice. When you go upstairs, the hallways are not as long and large as some places, but it's very comfortable looking. Some of the residents decorate their doors, some do not. My friend's room is a studio right now, because she's there as a respite resident; she is just staying until her rehab is finished. Her room is comfortable; they did everything they could to increase its comfort level. About a week after she moved in, they had kind of learned her needs and her habits. We've been very pleased with what they offer. I've had private meetings to get her established with the nursing care and with the CEO, and they've taken plenty of time to speak with her son who lives in Florida to confirm and reaffirm things that are going on. I have visited several times, and they have been very gracious about allowing visits with people who are masked and are willing to social distance. I've observed music events; I know they sang hymns one Wednesday afternoon, and they had a guitar-playing musical performer (who was outstanding) another afternoon when I was there. They offer physical therapy and occupational therapy, all done by one agency. Throughout COVID, they've only allowed one agency to come in; that way they know exactly who's coming and going, and they have less exposure. They've had very little COVID. They also have bingo on a regular basis. You win points or credits when you play bingo and you win, and you can buy things with your credit. It's kind of stimulating to the mind. They have a large gathering space, plus a game room, plus a large visiting space that they used during COVID, but I think they're opening up on Monday because all the residents will have had their second vaccine by then. They're very conscious of it, but they're not fearful, which I really like, because that's my friend's nature, too. She likes the food, and that's a big plus. One thing they did last week for any of the residents who wanted to was they masked up, loaded on the bus, and went out to Loveless cafe, which is kind of a famous place to eat where lots of country-music singers and tourists go. They went there in the early morning and had a breakfast/brunch kind of meal together. They have a beauty shop, and they have manicures. The nursing staff is amazing -- the nurses that she has had, she has just loved her nurses. I called the Lodge to inquire if they had a respite room for my friend. They did, and it was actually open. That afternoon their community-relations person came to my friend's house and brought us the paperwork to get her in that respite room. By the next afternoon -- twenty-four hours later -- she was in The Lodge. They're quick responders, that is a huge plus, and I've never seen that anywhere else."

"I was very satisfied with the level of care provided by this facility. The staff was very professional, curtious, and really took care of their patients. The food in this facility was amazing. Even the speciality diet dinners were very good. I never saw a patient that was dirty,they were always changed regularly.Adquately staffed. Patients seem very happy. This is one of the best facilites I have ever been in and I have had several family members and close friends in this facility. "

"My 92 year old mother has been a resident for 13 months. She is very happy in her apartment. The employees have been very helpful and willing to help in so many ways. I feel that she is very well cared for, and highly recommend to facility to all. "
