"After my mom had a fall at home and was diagnosed with an infection in the hospital, we didn’t have much time to do extensive research before choosing a rehab facility. Everything happened very fast. From the moment she arrived at Stonecroft, I knew we had made a good decision. They made the entire transition as easy as it could be for us. From the front desk, the administrative staff to the nurses, therapists, and even the activities director—every single person went out of their way to be helpful, compassionate, and patient. The on-site social worker helped coordinate things behind the scenes and assisted with items I didn’t even know I needed help with—including arranging for Mom’s wheelchair through her insurance upon her checkout. Their administrative staff was also kind, caring, and always seemed to anticipate our needs, offering support in several areas. Having an aging parent—especially one who is ill—comes with a multitude of questions and complications, but these amazing people never made me feel rushed or like I was a burden. The nursing staff was consistently cheerful, and each time I spoke with them, I received complete answers. If they didn’t have the answer right away, there was very good follow up. One morning, I popped in for a visit and found my mother sitting at the nurses’ station with them having a lovely chat—it was clear she felt comfortable and confident in their care. I’d also like to highlight the physical therapy team, who had a thorough understanding of my mom’s diagnosis and shared helpful insight about how we might plan the next steps in her care journey. Their consistent input and feedback are just another example of how Stonecroft truly puts people first. And finally, a virtual high-five to their activities director. Although my mom wasn’t a long-term resident, she made a point to learn her name right away and invited her daily to various community events, helping her feel welcomed and included. This has been a very stressful chapter for our family, but Stonecroft truly helped lighten the load. We’re so grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and the way they made my mom feel cared for every day."

"I have also worked at a few other similar facilities and I must say that Residence at McCormick's Creek is definetely one of the nicer ones I have been to. The facilities are very well kept. The staff is very informative and friendly. The residence that live there seem to be very pleased with their level of care. The staff that works there also seems to genuinly care about the people they are helping take care of in a variety of ways. I like that residence get to have their own little apartment to make their home and they can be involved in various activities. The menu there is pretty good too. Of every facility I've been to I would recommend this one to anyone looking for long term care. "

"My mom is in Owen Valley Health for only about two weeks now. They assist us by answering all our questions, introducing us to the establishment itself, and going over all their roles and how they will take care of her. We will financially pay for it and they assist us with the financial paperwork. They have activities like singing, and I like that is it small. "

"Brown County Health and Living's location was convenient for us. I lived in the same town as the facility so I knew the people in the area. The rooms were basic. They kept them clean. They were big enough for 2 beds. There was nothing special about them but it was important to me that the staff did take care of their facility. If there were any complaints it would be that the food wasn't great. The people seemed to be very caring though. I felt they addressed my parents' needs and they were always there to listen if I had any concerns. They made sure I was happy with the facility. There were times that the atmosphere seemed depressing since it's a nursing home. My father especially didn't feel like there was much for him. His condition wasn't as bad as my mom's, therefore he felt kind of isolated. My mom didn't seem to complain about the services though. "

"My dad was transferred to the Waters of Martinsville when he entered hospice care. The staff was amazing. Not only knowledgeable, but also friendly and kind. My mother and I felt very at home when visiting my dad. The staff stayed in communication with us and kept us updated on my Dad's condition when we took breaks away from the facility. After my Dad passed, my Mom and I talked about how much we missed the staff at the Waters of Martinsville. The facility was cleaned and smelled good. "

From that point her alzheimers became worse and she was moved to the alzheimers unit. They were really great with her there and always provided excellent care. We had a great experience with the staff, and they were really good to us. They even came to her funeral when she passed away while she was still there. "

"We chose Stone Bridge nursing home for my Mother because it's owned by Trilogy where my son is working. Everything is clean and the surroundings are neat. I am happy that everything is well taken care of with my Mom. Her room is neat and tidy. I see that she is very relaxed there because the place is not like a hospital environment at all. It has a feel of a home there. They have different activities like bingo, singing and movies. Also the few times I've been there, I find their food good and their dining room has a formal set up more like fine dining. My mom has a beginning stage of Alzheimer and I think that she is happier there even though most of the time she is confused. "

"I went to The Belmont Health and Rehabilitation. The lady that gave the tour did a fantastic job and they showed the activity. They had a theater and the dining room was huge. It's brand new and only opened at the end of December. And the physical therapy place is huge with a lot of equipment in it, and the only thing I had against that place is they have two people share one room. One thing nice about it, is they have the toilet into the sink in the same room, in one little area there. It's kind of tucked in the walls. The shower is in the same room, separate from all the other tucked in a room in the same room. But two people would be like a hospital, it has a curtain, but each person has a large TV and they have headsets that you can wear when you're watching TV. They're trying to match people, so if I stayed up late that night, they try to put a patient that does the same thing. So you're not annoying each other."
