"My dad will move into Meadow Lakes, and I like that assisted living is separate from full-time living. It's very clean and roomy. He can go in and out as he pleases and walk the grounds. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a barber salon there and a doctor who came in. They have lots of activities, laundry facilities on site, and transportation to community events. It has a family-style dining area."

"My mom lived here for six years, first independent living, then assisted living, then memory care for a very short time. I’m so pleased with the facility and the staff. The food was quite good, the facility is clean & tastefully appointed, cozy, and lots of natural light. Nice outdoor areas too. Though I am most grateful for the terrific staff there. Everyone was professional and caring. They definitely got to know my mom and always did their best to provide what she needed. They communicated very well with me, and help me to understand a lot of the changes she went through. They always had a big smile, a warm heart, and lots of patience when Mom needed it most. I can wholeheartedly recommend IVZW!"

"Zionsville Meadows was half a mile from my house and I liked it. It had the little independent houses and cottages and it's a real close walk to the activity center. Everything was nice and the price was right. It was a good choice. We also got the assisted living tour. The activities sounded very adequate, which the staff showed me, and I even met the activities person. It was an older facility, but adequate."

"Altenheim Senior Living is a wonderful place. The staff is very attentive. Mom gets good food and good care. She has a nice studio and it's clean. The memory care facility where she's at is very secure."

"Overall, Grand Victorian of Greenwood was a great place. It looked good. It just wasn't quite what we were looking for. Everybody was nice. They showed us around and showed us everything. I couldn't ask for more. They had good amenities. There was nothing wrong with it. They helped me. Everything was great."

"My mother-in-law was here for a month and half before she passed away. She initially was in assisted living and moved to the Pavilion within a few days of her death. Her studio was all setup (maintenance put up her wall mount that we provided for her tv) and we moved her furniture in over a weekend. She met some wonderful residents and staff (I had a few calls with staff as her disease progressed) in her short time there and couldn't believe all the dining options. As she became more ill, she had to move to the skilled nursing facility (The Pavilion). The few days she was there, the staff were on top of it. They knew her condition and took fantastic care of her. They responded to all her needs, and we were met with such kindness. As she transitioned, we were offered sustenance while we sat with her. This part meant so much to us. We declined but that's something I will always remember."

"Majestic Care of Carmel is a clean, cheerful facility. Staff members are friendly and empathetic. They are encouraged by management to "Lead with Love," and this is evident in their interactions with residents and families. Many activities are offered, and nursing staff in long-term care unit is exceptionally skilled and responsive. Residents seem happy and well cared-for."

"My sister moved to Astral at Franklin. We like its cleanliness and atmosphere; from its appearance, you wouldn't recognize it as a senior home. The staff is very accommodating. They have outings and various things like entertainment and music that come in. The apartments are well-kept."

"Hamilton Trace was a nice facility. The apartments were nice as well. The staff was very friendly. I like its convenience to where I live. So, it would be close for me to go and visit my dad if needed. I like that it's a bigger facility, because they tend to have memory care for Alzheimer's/dementia patients."

"I absolutely love Northridge Gracious Retirement. It was beautiful. It's gorgeous, it has a lot to offer. I was very impressed. I thought the entire facility was just gorgeous. The staff members were absolutely wonderful. The man who gave me the tour was wonderful, and all along the tour he would occasionally say, "Do you have any questions?" And I honestly didn't have any questions because he was so thorough in explaining everything as we toured the facility. The building was beautiful. I was very impressed with the facility. As soon as you walk in the door you just see beauty. It's beautiful."

"Park Square Manor was beautiful and clean. I liked the size of the rooms and the menu that could accomodate my diabetic diet. The people were very nice. I went to visit a person who had lived there for a while, and she was very happy with it. The dining area was beautiful. I would go back and put my name on the waiting list. "

"I liked Woodland Terrace of Danville. It's beautiful and welcoming, and people are obviously active. The person I have been talking to is very informative, very friendly, and very easy to talk to. The food is incredible. They have a chef who is just wonderful. We ate lunch there, and it was a gourmet meal. I didn't particularly observe activities, but they were busy doing things. A lot was going on, but I didn't pay much attention to them. It's immaculate."

"I'm living at Broadstone Pointe Apartments. I've been here for less than one year now. I love my apartment. It's a two-bedroom. I use one bedroom for my office. It's not huge, but it's got a balcony, which I love. The staff members are not that interactive. They try to be helpful, but yet they don't do a whole lot. It's hands-off most of the time. They cut corners with maintenance, too. The elevator was down for about a week, and I live on the third floor, so everybody had to take the stairs. So that's my biggest problem. I noticed there were mouse droppings in the stairwell, too. I reported that and they cleaned that up. It's not there any longer, but there was a lot of it. If a resident had not mentioned it, they would not have cleaned it up. They have a pay washer and dryer on the first floor. I have access to that, but I didn't want to. I bought my own washer and dryer. I have a refrigerator and an electric stove. Everything's electric here. They have a garage, but right now it's full, and there's a waiting list to get on to the garage, and I'm on a waiting list for that. They have an exercise room, which is below average. It's got an old recumbent bike. It looks like it's been donated, and it doesn't work well. They have a treadmill and some weights. They have a library, which is stocked with donated things from previous residents. They have a computer station, but it never works, so that's pretty useless. They have a kitchen and dining area that if you want to use it, you're welcome to You just have to go in and tell them that you're going to be cooking down there. You have to reserve it, which is no problem. And once a month, a vendor will come in and we will have bingo. I like the location."
