My parents have lived at Rosegate Assisted Living going on two years this fall. They are very happy there. The employees embrace the residents with warmth and care. The facility is clean, and the residents seem very happy there. They call the family members frequently to check in and I know my parents are watched over. I know that the transition from a family home to a place for seniors is a big scary move. This transition went so smoothly for my parents. They live in a one bedroom apartment. The apartment has a walk in closet and a kitchenette. It also has a front porch and outside entrance as well as an inside entrance. It’s comfortable and the main facility is nicely decorated. As a daughter who is very involved in her parent’s life, I am over all the time and have observed nothing but positive interaction.

I found Rosegate Commons. The cost and the availability of everything, the transportation, everything is just so right there for you. Everything was just so clean and pristine. It was so wonderful. And then I don't worry about snow removal or anything anymore. That's just so great for me. You can go through a garden home all the way through hospice right there, and that's the other reason I chose them. The staff member was great, everybody knew her, and she knew everybody by name, and everyone seemed to like her. That really impressed me. You can buy a card for like 30 meals for the month or whatever, it never expires, for $240. They give you 30 meals, which is like a $9 meal. And that's like a nine-course meal for nine bucks. They gave me lunch, I don't eat dessert, so they offered me a fruit bowl. If you can't have the sweets, they offer you something else. They're so accommodating.

We have chosen Rosegate Commons for my parents. It was the only place we found in their price range that gave them all the amenities and the type of floor plan they were looking for that was available. They've been wonderful to work with. They've been extremely responsive to all our requests. They answered email questions and text questions over the weekends. They've just been top-notch. They offered everything every place else offered. They have bus transportation, they have planned activities, and they have a clubhouse for the seniors who live in their independent living area. They have a salon, a courtyard, a gym, and exercise classes. I also like that they can do their physical therapy there if they need it, and they can also transition into assisted living or memory care when the time comes.

We will be moving into Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes. They have very nice, up-to-date cottages. The people were friendly, those that we've dealt with so far. They take care of utilities except for cable and phone. They have a lot of stuff available. They have a beauty shop. They also have restaurant-style food you can eat anytime. They have a meal plan that is an add-on. There's laundry service and cleaning service, but those are add-ons.

I went to Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes. The person who gave me the tour was very helpful, very kind, and understanding. The facility is clean. The rooms were very nice. They were spacious. Of all the tours that I took, they were the biggest rooms that I saw, and I felt like the price point on that was really good, especially given the size of the rooms. I only interacted with two people, the front desk person, and then the person, the director of the program, and both were very kind. I did see the dining area and the menus. They looked good. They had an outdoor patio for the homes, which I thought was lovely. So they had a separate entrance so my sister-in-law could have come and gone through her own entrance rather than having to go into the main entrance and through the hallway. And so I thought that outdoor living was a nice perk.

Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes was phenomenal. My mom needed a place to stay in a hurry and we ended up selecting it. The staff, Tammy especially, worked tirelessly to get her in. When we moved her, they really made her feel welcomed. They gave her a lot of attention. They made sure that she saw a doctor within a day of moving in, a podiatrist, and got all the care that she needed to really feel good about herself. They got her cleaned up and got her hair styled. It was a very pleasant experience for her. The room that she moved into was a temporary one while she was waiting for her permanent room, but that room was really nice. She said it was a great size and she really liked the layout. It was easy to get around. The furniture and surroundings made it pleasant for her. Every room opened to the outside so it had a feeling of having her own home. The food was really good, too. They had a very active community. They were actually getting ready to go out to visit an apple orchard. They also had exercises/yoga, painting, cards, and some other special activities. So, it was really nice.

Upon entering Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes, it felt very nice. They have like independent living homes on one side, and those seemed nice. However, when we walked into the assisted living, we immediately got the nursing home vibe. We had a pre-timed appointment, and they weren't ready, so they sent us off to a waiting room. We walked around for about 20 minutes and waited for them. When we were touring the facility, it felt like a nursing home and that's not what we were looking for. There were a lot of people that were incapable of interacting and just kind of laying around. That's not their fault, it's part of the aging process, but it didn't seem like an active community. They have like a movie theater, and they have daily activities. The building had a smell to it, and it felt like it was an older place and needed some updating. We talked to the lady that was in the lobby, and she seemed like she was not interested and didn't care that we were there. We did not get a warm vibe from the single person that we had an interaction with. I don't want to judge the entire staff because we only had interaction with that one person. The lighting was kind of dull. It was kind of a yellow light. It wasn't a bright white light, it seemed dull and not very bright. We didn't notice it being dirty. It didn't feel extra clean, but it didn't feel dirty.

We chose Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes for my parents. It's an extremely welcoming community and we toured many different places for their price point. Obviously, the prices can range drastically, and this one is middle of the road. They're going to be paying about $5,000 a month. The facility is lovely. They provide transportation to and from their doctors' appointments, they have outings, and they have numerous activities every day. When you walk in, it's extremely bright and cheerful. They have a chef, and the cafeteria looks like you're going to a very nice restaurant with tablecloths and candles, and menus up on the table. The apartment that they're moving to, there's nurses on staff 24 hours. It was just convenient and everybody was very, very kind, and have exceeded our expectations in helping us get in there. The staff we met were wonderful, we dealt with two amazing women and they were wonderful, Tammy and Lisa. The chef offered a dessert, because my dad loves desserts, and it was a strawberry shortcake with homemade short cakes, and it was wonderful.

I loved the homes at Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes. They had a garage, two bedrooms, a sunroom, and a fenced-in yard. The homes were perfect. The staff was excellent. You can have meals in the cafeteria. They have lots of walking areas. They're nearby shopping. They had bingo and different church functions, a bus that will take you to your appointments, and a separate exercise area.

Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes was nice. My mom said it's a little bit pricy, but she liked it. They were very friendly. The staff took a long time to describe to us what the community was like. She was nice, friendly, and caring. From what we saw, the houses she showed us looked spacious. I think my mother wanted one with a porch and two bathrooms. They had a waiting list, but from what she showed us, they looked nice. You can tell they do keep the maintenance up there. They keep it updated. We went to the dining area. When we were waiting for the lady to come to talk to us, we saw the residents eating and they looked happy. They had an outdoor sitting area, which was nice and cute. This is a place I would place my parents if I had to. We liked mostly the garden homes because it's nice the way they had it. They said that they still care about their people in the garden homes. They still look after you, and they still keep an eye, and care for everyone on the property.

The major problem at Rosegate was the maintenance department. They would not respond and do anything that they promised to do. Appliances were very old and in disrepair. We ended up buying our own appliances. My relative found the maintenance staff rude and they just glared at her when they saw her. Needless to say, she moved from Rosegate.

The people at Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes were very nice, and the independent living housing was good. They presented a lot of activities that they have available or will have available post COVID. In terms of the rooms, my ladies actually felt it was too much space for them. The staff member that I met there was named Cami and she was great.

My Grandmother started off in the Rosegate independent apartments, which she loved, until her dementia required her to move to the memory care area of the assisted living section. The staff was so wonderful in helping us with not only the transfer, but any problems we ever had arise. My Grandmother was treated wonderfully, and since we live states away and not able to visit all the time, they were always very good at keeping us updated on her status and keeping in contact. The memory care area is decked out with a jukebox full of songs the residents remember from their youth, and each patient has a place for their family to put pictures for their family member to look at. The overall feel of that area is bright and cheerful, keeping doors painted with outdoor themes so the residents don't feel trapped inside. The doors also have codes in order to open so the residents can't wonder out on their own. The always present staff works hard at having different activities, and even has spa type events like haircuts and nail painting. i would without a doubt recommend Rosegate to anyone needing either assisted living or more independent living for a loved one.

I loved Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes because they had cottages and had a garage attached. It's like a little house. The staff was very nice, showed me around, and explained things. They're affordable, the grounds were nice, and they had a lot of activities going on. They even had an independent activity building for the independent people to do arts and crafts, which none of the others have. They were my favorite.

I would give Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes a 5 on everything. Everything was great, I enjoyed the food, its new, and the girl was pleasant. I would have moved in there, but it was higher priced and no meals were included.

We visited Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes, and they showed me around the rooms and down the hallway where the guest rooms and the dining rooms were. It's a good place, but they didn't have rentals for anything other than a year or six months. They didn't take only 30 days. The rooms were OK and fully furnished. They had meals, laundry rooms, and bathrooms in the rooms. The staff told us everything and answered all the questions.

Rosegate is a very nice community. Their cottages were pretty nice. They have a kitchen, 2-bathrooms, 2-bedrooms, a living room, dining room, garage, and sun room. They have a lot of things. They have a library, and a craft room area. They have exercise equipment too.

My dad is in Rosegate. He has a 1-bedroom apartment there. They're awesome. They have garden homes that they rent out to families. We're from out of state, so if we go visit our dad, we can stay right there in one of their garden homes. They have a cafeteria-type setting. We can order food and have it delivered to his home, so it is very convenient and nice for us. The staff members are very friendly and very helpful. My dad is kind of a homebody and he really doesn't get involved with anything, but they do offer a wide variety of activities.

We liked Rosegate, and we viewed a cottage and apartment and we like both of them very well. We really liked the options at Rosegate, like the option of buying a meal plan or not, or the option of just buying individual meals if you wanted as you go in, just like in a restaurant. You also have the option of a standalone cottage or an apartment, and the location is also good for us. We pretty much like everything about it.

Rosegate was older and a little more cramped, but the staff was wonderful. The rooms were much smaller, with one small closet. It just wasn't as inviting. Staff seemed very good, and there were a lot of long-term staff which is really wonderful, but it was just so little. They have a few activities posted, but it wasn't as robust.

We have selected Rosegate for my mother. The rooms are fine. It is like apartment living in an assisted living facility, so they're similar to different places that I saw. The price is similar. The staff is helpful. I don't have any problems with them.

Rosegate had a very nice cafeteria, but the rooms were small, and they were very expensive. The grounds seemed to be nice. I’ve been told that there were a lot of problems with the care that the people get, and I was not impressed with the staff.

Rosegate was excellent, the staff was very nice, the facility was very clean, and it didn’t smell. The rooms were semi-private and booked up for six months. The difference with other communities is like night and day because I’ve seen some really bad ones.

The young lady that took me on a tour at Rosegate Assisted Living and Garden Homes wasn’t even the tour guide. but she took me everywhere that she possibly could, showed me a room and the facility, and it was awesome. That was on a Saturday morning, and she did really well.

We looked at Rosegate. We like them fine. It seemed clean, and it seemed nice. The staff seemed nice when we were there. They knew some of the patients that were in the halls by name. The facility looked clean, and the people seemed to be nice and interacting with the patients. The rooms from the nursing homes were small, but the assisted-living part, they were like efficiencies and they were nice. I would have been interested in getting my dad there, but I think he needs more care now.

Rosegate Assisted Living is close to where we live. The houses were very well maintained. The staff was very attentive. It was just a really pretty area to live in. There were lots to do. I like that all of them have the same thing, e.g., the 24-hour care, emergency service, and free transportation. Also the pricing was very reasonable.

We have signed up with Rosegate, we will be taking occupancy at the start of April, and will be moving in on about the 28th or 29th of March. Everybody we met was just top-notch, we just felt very comfortable, and we thought this is the place for us. As far as we were concerned, for our likes and dislikes, this was the perfect place. We only had one meal there, and it was delicious. They were running it like a restaurant, so you are given a menu, you can choose from it -- which we thought was delightful -- and the food was great. As far as the neatness of the place and the grounds, it was very ideal for us. We felt right at home. The only problem we are having is that we are coming from a three-bedroom, two-bath and going into a two-bedroom, two-bath, so we are downsizing pretty drastically. But this is not a problem; we are grateful that we are able to share furniture and stuff with other people. We are recommending it to our friends who are in a similar situation. We are getting ready to move and, for us, this is perfect. For somebody else, they would have to judge for themselves, but it fits us to a T.

I had seven back surgeries, and I really got a lot of physical therapy as well as personal care at Rosegate. They would come to my room and help me get up; it was really good. I just have caregivers come in every day and help me. They will take you to the doctors and grocery stores. Everything was included. They have areas and rooms for in-patients. They have a rehab center which also is like a nursing home, and they have Alzheimer’s and memory people in there. It’s a really nice facility.
The housing at this location for the Garden Homes has rooms with one bath, one bedroom, and a washer and dryer. They put a pin around your neck so if you fall it will notify somebody. I live at the end of the building, so if I heard something outside or someone is knocking at my door and I don’t feel comfortable, I could push the button, and they would check on it.

My mother is moving into an assisted living apartment today. We chose Rosegate for her because we know people that had been there and have liked it. It is close to my house. I have been my mother's caretaker, so having her closer is a lot easier. I have talked with their staff several times, and they always helped me with everything we need. We have eaten there, and the food was great. They have activities posted, and we had discussed it. Those were very well communicated.

Mom is at Rosegate in Indianapolis. good care there. She likes the food and the facility seems very nice. I think what bothers her a bit was that her room doesn't have a view and her house was near, which makes her wants to be in her house.

I was visiting a friends Mother who was confined to a room so I was not able to see any amenities. The staff was friendly and stopped in her room to say "hi". We spoke briefly as she was very busy as was all the other staff. The facility did not have the "odor" that I had been told it had about a month or so ago. I'm sure those are problems that cannot be controlled. The facility seemed clean inside and the outside had curb appeal as it was summertime and the tress and flowers looked very nice. Overall I'd give this assisted living facility a 4.

Overall, Rosegate is a wonderful assisted-living community for those who need it. The facilities are very modern and there are a lot of things to keep the residents happy and entertained. My grandmother has always loved playing bridge and there were several others at the facility with whom she could play. The staff was very friendly as well. The only complaint I have is that some unscrupulous staff member has stolen money from my grandmother's purse before. I understand this probably happens from time to time at every assisted living facility, but it is something to be aware of.
