Mom was at Traditions at Reagan Park. It's a very nice and beautiful place. It was very clean and the people were very friendly. The ones I was in contact with were very good, especially the physical therapists. The rooms were very spacious, nice, and very clean, too. Mom said most of the food was pretty good. The common areas were very nice. They had nice furniture and they were clean. We went into one and played bingo. Mom went to a salon and got her hair fixed. They were able to get her in at the last minute, so that was nice. It helped perk her up to get her hair fixed. It just seemed like a nice place compared to a couple of other ones. A lot of the staff, though, do not speak a lot of clear English. So, it was hard to understand some of them. The facility is in a very good shape. It's not that old of a building.

I liked Traditions at Reagan Park, but they're a little bit more expensive than the other place and didn't offer me the best deal. I did not like that you had to pull out onto 10th Street to go either way and that is a very busy road. I only met a couple of ladies in the office and they were super nice. The building was very nice. The atmosphere was very nice. The layout of the room was very good, but it didn't have that open feeling like the other place. It didn't have a sunroom, which makes a lot of difference when you're thinking about all the furniture you have and where you're going to put everything.

I am staying at Traditions at Reagan Park. I love the garden homes that I live in and the people that are in the garden homes. The staff members are very nice. They have 24-hour nurses on call. If you were to get hurt, they would come right to your house, come in, and call the ambulance if you needed it. They have a little gym for you to go into. They take you on outings. They take you to the doctor and bring you back. There's a lot of activities.

We had a great visit to Traditions at Reagan Park. It was fabulous and beautiful. It's a little pricey, but they had great amenities and we loved it. The people were wonderful, caring, and very personable. They talked to everyone, were very helpful, and answered all the questions that we had. We noticed that the residents seemed to be very happy as well. The facility was clean and very well decorated. The atmosphere was very inviting and they had a lot of activities and things for the residents to do. I highly recommend it if you can afford it.

The Traditions at Reagan Park was beautiful. It was a really nice facility. Overall, the tour was very helpful. I toured their independent living, and the apartment that we saw was very nice. In fact, I'm inclined to go ahead with that apartment, but I haven't decided for sure yet. I liked it a lot, and it looked like it's well-kept. The person who toured us did an OK job. As far as activities go, they have bingo and some happy hour stuff. Apparently, they also have some activities that are just for the independent living people and that might be interesting. I haven't tried their food, but their dining area looked very nice.

We have a deposit on Traditions at Reagan Park. My mother-in-law has not moved in yet, but we're probably 99% sure going to go with this facility. It is the cleanest in the area. They are allowing me to continue to medically manage my mother-in-law's care. They offer an array of outings in the community that they take the residents to. They have transportation and their food looks appealing. The rooms are decent sized compared to other facilities in the area. People are friendly. It's nice that for this month, they've offered a discount for a move-in rate trying to get new residents in coming off of a struggle with COVID, so that's a positive that they've cut their prices for a short time to get more residents involved. So far, the staff has been very informative and answers questions. The biggest thing is that they're allowing me to continue caring for her. The value for money is comparable to other areas around, but it's newer, cleaner, fresher, more renovated, bigger space, wider hallways, bigger elevator, and so because of that, the value is greater. They have great communication. The director is quick to email back and answers questions.

I saw the facilities at Traditions at Reagan Park for assisted living. It's a very nice place, but for the extra money it didn't make sense for me. The staff was very friendly and very informative. I got an email or something about trying their food, but I didn't take them up on that since I was busy -- but I got an invitation.

Overall, Traditions at Reagan Park is ten out of ten. It was a good experience. It was a nice, clean place, and the home that we looked at was nice, too. The only thing that we have issues with it is its pricing. They have one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, they have full kitchens, and it also comes with a laundry facility, internet, and utilities. The person who accommodated us was friendly and helpful, and she gave us a lot of information that we weren't aware of in dealing with assisted living for senior people. Right now, because of COVID, they're not serving meals right now, but the only people that are allowed in the actual facility are those who are part of the community.

Traditions at Reagan Park was nice, and they had some nice amenities. We were pleasantly surprised that they had a happy hour every day from 3 to 5 pm, where they serve beer, wine, and hor d'oeuvres. I thought that was absolutely adorable, and that makes sense, they're all adults, they can have beer and wine if they want to. The facility was clean, but the furniture almost looked like hospital-room type furniture. We met one person and she was very caring and showed us around. The residents were just walking around and we did not notice anything going on. They had a big, open area that had puzzles in it, and they had an exercise room.

I toured Traditions at Reagan Park. It's atmosphere was good. They had continuous dining, you can dine at any time and not limited to a certain time which I enjoyed. I thought that would be good. But the rooms in the apartments were small. They also had activities for the residents, and you could even eat eight times a day if you wanted. We looked at the assisted living level there because my father needs a lot of assistance and care. The place itself was lovely, well-maintained, and fairly new. It was nice. I had no issues with the appearance of the community at all.

As a physician involved in the care of the elderly, some of whom with chronic, debilitating illnesses, I periodically explore the quality of facilities geared toward providing assistance and varying levels of care to individuals in need of supportive services. I have found Traditions at Reagan Park to represent an environment of cleanliness, safety and security for a wide spectrum of residents, from those who are totally independent to others who require strong support and aid. I am very familiar with the excellent track record of the Executive Director of Traditions at Reagan Park as an administrator and "hands on" manager, and have great confidence in her ability to lead this facility to even higher levels of excellence. I would recommend Traditions at Reagan Park without reservation.

We put father at Traditions at Reagan Park when he first was diagnosed with dementia for about a year and a half. We had meetings with them over issues that came up. The meals were horrible, and they weren't encouraging the residents to eat. Right after they had set down their plate of food, they turn around and set ice cream in front of them, so they could go and sit down and eat their own food. Most people with dementia will go and eat the ice cream before they eat their food and then when they eat the ice cream, they don't want food. The big issue for us was our father was not getting enough nutrition, and he was losing a lot of weight. The lights in the hallway to the rooms were shut off most of the time, so it's real dingy and depressing. Once they got in their rooms, they could turn their lights on and off, but the residents had no control of the lights in the hallway. There were hardly any activities. They didn't walk them. The food wasn't the best, and there were no amenities for memory care. The building was nice, but the memory care was not a big unit.

Traditions at Reagan Park was very good. I would consider the facility to be state-of-the-art, and it is very nice. The grounds are quite large, and there are walking trails. The facility has many different levels of living. It is more expensive than other facilities I've visited.

Requested a Saturday morning appointment which was given to tour their memory unit with my 90 year old mother. Only one staff member was found working with approx. 30 residents whom sat there very quietly (almost too quiet- medications?) waiting to bounce back a therapy ball. Private rooms were too small. My mother still refers to it as "the box" and a very lonely place which I didn't realize she had that potential for memory.

Memory Care Unit is horrible! They do not do the activities I have witnessed this and have witnessed the staff being rough and uncaring towards the residents. Ryan who is the person in charge of the entire facility does not want to do his job and correct the wrongs the people are suffering. Do not move a loved one there! They are always understaffed and the food is horrible!

We appreciate your message and want you to know that the safety and health are our top priority of all our residents. Our community strives to provide a home-like environment to our residents who are challenged with various dementia diagnoses that maximizes dignity, productivity and quality of life. Admission to the program is not based solely upon diagnosis or disease stage, but is based on a variety of criteria as dictated by the State Department of Health and our Community. The decision to accept an individual to our Memory Care Program is made at the community level and is based upon the best information gathered by an interdisciplinary team (Wellness Director and Executive Director) following the initial admission assessment.
Continued residency in our Memory Care is based on criteria that have been set forth by our Community. On occasion, it becomes clear, based on the state criteria, that an admission acceptance may have been inappropriate or that a resident has progressed beyond the scope of care offered by our Memory Care Program. Such occurrences may warrant a resident relocation.
Our community proudly works together in a team environment with residents, family, staff and physician to provide the best possible atmosphere for all residents. We welcome and promote open communication at all times. Please feel free to contact us at anytime to discuss any concerns you may have.

We chose Traditions for my mother because it is nearer to where we live than where she was previously. Traditions provides a whole spectrum of care options, but my mother had been diagnosed with dementia previously and had been in memory care for almost a year when we moved her there. We are very happy with our decision. The facility is very neat, clean, and bright. They take care to make sure the residents are well taken care of and try to make the unit seem less like a facility and more like home. Residents have options as to the activities they like and are encouraged to participate. We feel very comfortable with the decision we made to move my mother and feel she is well cared for and happy at Traditions.

Traditions at Reagan Park was a brand-new area. It was beautiful and very nice, but it was more expensive. The accommodation was very nice. The rooms were very nice. The people that I saw there looked very nice, and they seemed to be in a comfortable location.

I visited Traditions at Reagan Park for my mother. It appeared clean. We put my mom in their waiting list. What impressed me probably was the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of it, and their activities.

Very caring personnel at Traditions - the leasing director, the receptionists, chef & food servers, nurses & doctor, lpns, activity director, maintenance - everyone works together to ensure my parents' are receiving excellent care. The social life & activities at Traditions are outstanding. My parents are able to enjoy the other residents & activities so much more than when they were living at home. I have a hard time getting a hold of my parents because they are so active and barely in their apartment. Small enough facility that they could handle some special circumstances that my parents' needed some addl help with.

I really wanted to put him in Traditions. This was where I had my sight set, but after he broke his hip, he was down too far for them to take him. He was in too bad a shape, so I had to go from an assisted living type of situation to skilled nursing, and I had to do it quickly. When he broke the hip, it was just downhill quick. They were very pleasing, decorative-wise, the menu was looking good, and everything was just really good. The staff people were all just fine. They all went out of their way. I even showed up unannounced to have a tour, and they stopped everything and took me all around.

The one that I wouldn't recommend is Traditions at Reagan Park. My dad moved in there and signed the lease, and then they changed their mind. That is why he had to move. They made it right though; they let him stay there for free and paid for his move, but it was very chaotic there. I would never deal with them again. The care actually was OK; it was the administration that was bad. They need to improve their communication at the senior administrator level, and they've already fired everybody within that level; they've already done all that. It was beautiful, and the food was great.

Traditions at Reagan Park won't be complete till May 1st. But they're showing you the whole setup. Everything is all in one roof. It's going to have everything. I did speak to the people and talk to them. They were very nice and very courteous. The facility is going to accept Medicaid, which is a big factor with me. They're supposed to have a top chef and they're going to be serving three meals a day. They also have a dietitian that works with you if you're diabetic. It's brand new, so it's going to be very clean and neat looking. It's big, spacious, and it's going to have a movie house, too. It's got everything which is very important. It's very sharp. It's going to be beautiful and nice.
