"The Oaks at Brownsburg was very nice, very clean, and organized. Erica toured us and she was also very nice and thorough with everything. The place was beautiful, but it's just too much for my pocket. The floor plan was very nice with the kitchen, living room, a nice big bedroom with a walk-in closet, and a nice big bathroom. I really liked it. They have a small studio, single bedrooms, and then they have a bigger bedroom. They had a library and a TV room where they could go to see movies. Everything was nice."

"Overall, Grand Victorian of Greenwood was a great place. It looked good. It just wasn't quite what we were looking for. Everybody was nice. They showed us around and showed us everything. I couldn't ask for more. They had good amenities. There was nothing wrong with it. They helped me. Everything was great."

Knowing you have the opportunity to move from different levels of care with very little interruptions gives family peace of mind that their loved one is being cared for on all levels of care needed. "My mom lived here for six years, first independent living, then assisted living, then memory care for a very short time. I’m so pleased with the facility and the staff. Everyone was professional and caring. They definitely got to know my mom and always did their best to provide what she needed. "Hamilton Trace was a nice facility. The apartments were nice as well. The staff was very friendly. I like its convenience to where I live. So, it would be close for me to go and visit my dad if needed. I like that it's a bigger facility, because they tend to have memory care for Alzheimer's/dementia patients."

"I absolutely love Northridge Gracious Retirement. It was beautiful. It's gorgeous, it has a lot to offer. I was very impressed. I thought the entire facility was just gorgeous. The staff members were absolutely wonderful. The man who gave me the tour was wonderful, and all along the tour he would occasionally say, "Do you have any questions?" And I honestly didn't have any questions because he was so thorough in explaining everything as we toured the facility. The building was beautiful. I was very impressed with the facility. As soon as you walk in the door you just see beauty. It's beautiful."

"Park Square Manor was beautiful and clean. I liked the size of the rooms and the menu that could accomodate my diabetic diet. The people were very nice. I went to visit a person who had lived there for a while, and she was very happy with it. The dining area was beautiful. I would go back and put my name on the waiting list. "

"I'm in a three-story apartment building for people 55 and older on a fixed income and it's Thornbury Pointe. We have bible study once a week, we have cards a couple times a week, we have Friday night movies. There are activities. People just get together and talk. The staff is very good. Our manager loves to cook and so she'll fix lunch for everybody. We have a nice kitchen. It has a dishwasher, a nice stove, and a microwave. It's gas heat and gas hot water. The maintenance man here is very nice and very knowledgeable in how things go. That's the only two staff members we have. The people here all get along pretty well. We tend to help each other if somebody is down or sick. We try to take them down to dinner, or if they feel like they're closed in, we'll all go out to lunch or something like that. We help each other. And then besides the three-story building, they also have some cottages with garages. You can rent a garage there. In this building the mail comes to the first floor in our mailboxes. Packages are delivered to our door. We have trash bins at the end of the building. It's very well-maintained and clean. The layout is very good. You come in the main door and there's an elevator that takes you up to the second and third floor. And as you get off the elevator, there are signs to tell you which way the apartments are or whatever apartment you're looking for. The value for the money is pretty good, and we have just received Section 8 clearance."

"We will be moving into Westside Garden Plaza. We liked it because it had a lot more activities, has a swimming pool, and a fitness center. It also has paths to walk outside. It was just beautiful when you enter the place. We've put a down payment on a 2-bedroom with a sunroom. It has two bedrooms, a living room, a small kitchen, and all three meals are provided. That's another advantage too, we don't want to do any more cooking. They come in and clean once a week and change the beds. They had a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave. We looked at a lot of places and this place had more to offer than some of the others. The staff who took us around was very professional and very friendly. We did have a meal, and the food was great."

"I toured Woodland Terrace of Danville. The best part was that I would get an apartment that nobody had ever lived in before. So, everything was brand new. It would make a difference in the cleanliness and the newness of the appliances and all that. I did not like the layout of the apartment though. The staff was super nice. It was super clean. I felt very much at home. I was going to go with them right away until I had a chance to go to the apartment I'd be living in and then I realized that it was a lot smaller. It was just too hard to figure out the placement of my furniture where it would go."
