"The Oaks at Plainfield is a beautiful community for seniors 55+. The staff is so kind and the residents are so sweet- you can tell they love where they live. They have lots of amenities for residents as well- including meals, a fitness center, movie theater, maintenance, housekeeping, and much more!"

"If you are looking for a clean and safe place for your loved ones to recover, I highly recommend Majestic Care. My dad had a severe heart attack and was in the hospital for 7 weeks. We had to choose a rehab facility for him to go to before coming home. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. It is being remodeled so everything is crisp and new. The second thing was the staff. They were so friendly. From Jan who greeted us at the front door daily to the nursing staff to the physical and occupational therapists. I know that people can have terrible experiences at places like this but I have nothing but praise for how well they took care of my dad and how kind and accommodating they were to the residents. Thanks to everyone at Majestic Care for the hard work you do! My dad is home now and doing great."

"I was very impressed with Rose Senior Living at Carmel. The staff is friendly and professional. The building is immaculate. My mom loves the food. She's only been there a couple of weeks, but she's getting acclimated to their activities and she's made many friends there. There's a daily card game, exercise classes in the morning, run to a grocery store daily, they go to a movie theater, but they also have a theater on-site, there's entertainment there, and they have people come in and perform for the residents as well."

"I went to Altenheim Senior Living. It was okay. It was pretty nice. It's just that the prices were out of my range. The grounds were very nice. It was very well taken care of. The apartment itself was spacious enough and the amenities in the apartment were nice. The guy who gave the tour was very nice and very informative, and he understood my situation with it being just out of my price range. He gave me a couple of other suggestions."

"My mother-in-law is moving into Sycamore Reserve. We had a wonderful experience, and we really liked it. The staff is very friendly, very outgoing, and very understanding of seniors and their needs. It's a really friendly place. The apartments are exceptional. Everything is high quality. The way the rooms are set up are unique. The studio has a separation in between it, like an armor, but it's big. We like the storage, and the bathrooms are huge. Everything is very nice. They have restaurant style dining, so you just order from a menu. They have food all day long that you can go and get. They have a real nice dining room, and they have a patio that you can also dine out on. They have a pool, a dog walk, they allow pets, and a nice garden area. I haven't sampled their food, but it looks good. My daughter went to see it first and they gave her a meal, and she said it was excellent."

"For 17 happy years, Mom & Dad enjoyed living in GVS. Whether it was their spacious 3-room apartment, friendly neighbors, excellent food, & attentive well-trained staff, they loved it all. The exercise room is well staffed & equipped. Residents get their hair cut & their nails done without leaving the premises. GVS has interesting activities & helpful services. Residents are encouraged to volunteer in the library, Sunday Vespers service, & different choral groups, among other opportunities. For health needs, GVS has excellent graduated care. We have enjoyed the loving friends who have served our parents in multiple areas: independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehab & hospice. I’ve stayed in the guest rooms and enjoy the great food & 4-star dining room. The staff in different areas tell me loving stories about Dad & Mom & feel like family. In my opinion Greenwood Village South is an ideal place to live."

"I toured Northridge Gracious Retirement. I got to walk inside and see the lunch area and their dining area. Even the outside looks beautiful. I liked that they offered electricity and offered food. It seems very convenient. As far as where it's located, it's surrounded by things that my mother could get to really well. The only thing is the price range is kind of discouraging, but I understand that it includes a lot. I wasn't able to taste their food, but there were a lot of seniors there, and they seemed to enjoy themselves. I came during their lunchtime. So, it seemed like a really good community of people. I could tell everybody cared about each other because the manager or tour guide was so helpful, even if it didn't benefit him, he still helped me, so I could tell that he was a caring person and that meant a lot to me."

"I visited The Reserve at Hamilton Trace and think it is outstanding. The apartments were just like regular apartments but smaller and did not have garages. They just built i, so that's why it's so nice. The place was super, had a nice dining hall, and had activities and transportation. They had it all. "

"We visited Astral at Franklin. It's brand new, but we couldn't get moved in until September and we needed a facility quicker than that, so we ended up in another facility. We toured the property and went through the rooms. It was a beautiful community. We don't know any of the staff, but as far as the actual facility, it was very nice. They also had an older apartment community, and there were a couple of people living in that part of the building, but not the assisted living. We interacted with the person that does the tour of the facility, and then we had an interaction with the lady that was the cook, and they were both very kind and very nice. They had the same type of amenities as the other place. They had a movie theater, they had a workout room, they had a restaurant-style dining, and they had a hair salon. It was a very nice place. We had some pumpkin bread, just a very light meal, but it was good. Everything was brand new, so it was tip-top condition. There was only a handful of residents. They said they were getting ready to get a bus where they were going to be able to take people to their activities. But I did not witness any activities. The outdoors were very well maintained. It's kind of like a square and then they have a place in the middle where the residents can go. They had chairs and loungers and grills. It was very nice."
