"My aunt stayed at Discovery Commons Brookfield, which was very nice but pricey. The people who worked there were wonderful. The facility was new and clean. It was state of the art, but parking was also a problem there. The rooms were smaller than the ones I looked at for my mom, but they were very nice. They did have very nice walk-in showers with a seat hanging from the wall, which was very nice so my aunt could be independent in showering herself. I ate lunch with my aunt, and the food was very good."

"We visited the Brookdale Brookfield Woelfel Road's memory care, and they seem very good. It's just that it's a much bigger facility, and we are looking for the individual care that we're going to get in a smaller group setting. That was the only thing. Otherwise, my wife and I were very interested in staying there. The rooms we saw were adequate. They're not there for entertaining people, so they're not big. Parts of the facility are a little bit older, but they're redoing a lot of things right now, so in the next couple of months, some areas are going to be refurbished. Other than that, it's very clean and neat. The dining area was very nice, attractive, and clean as expected. The parking is all outdoor parking, but it's fine. They don't have much staff turnover, so there are people who have been there for quite a few years, which says a lot about the place."

"I had an in-person tour and it was very good. The staff showed me a room that was going to be available, and they told me some of the things that were going on. But what I want is not available yet, so we have to wait a little while. Other than that it was very informative for me and helped in my decision. The facility was very clean. It was lunchtime, and they were very busy helping the patients get their lunch. When people in the memory care unit were asking questions they were always answered in a positive way. The aids were not affected by being asked the same questions. They were never rude to the patients, which was very nice. The staff was friendly. Everybody was doing their job. It was a very nice facility. Even the room that I got to see seemed to be quite adequate, and something that I would feel comfortable having my husband go to."

"I toured this community for my mom. The apartments are spacious and have a full kitchen. Staff was very knowledgeable and you could tell they cared about the residents. They also offer a pendant program for residents which is a call light button. They have a fun activities calendar with at least 4 activities a day. The apartments come with Wi-Fi, cable and bathrooms have a walk in shower, apartment controlled heating and cooling. The apartments are big. They offer housekeeping, laundry services, 3 meals a day. They did invite both myself and mom in for lunch and a tour. Also, transportation for any appointments that mom has. A plus of this community is the is right off the expressway and close to hospitals, drs offices and shopping area."

"My mother-in-law was a resident of The Arboretum Senior Living. It was a very nice community for her. There were activities for her to go to, and she went to the dining hall for dinner once a day, so she had interaction with other people. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the facilities were well-kept and clean. They would sometimes have groups come in to sing or play music, and the food was very good."

"The care is great because the caregivers are great. There are tons of them that have been there forever. The food is GREAT considering their cooking for 46 people. What I loved to see was how many family members dine with their loved one daily! The staff at Riverview would always make whatever special accommodations we asked for. My wife still visits to help with activities-we feel like family there. "

"We toured Brenwood Park. It's up-to-date, clean, and I got the chance to meet the business manager. The person who gave me the tour was friendly, knowledgeable, and positive. The dining area was clean and looked good. They just didn't have any Polish-speaking employees, so we didn't go with this place."

"I moved my uncle into Cornerstone in September of 2024. I cannot say enough great things about this facility. They have been caring and go the extra mile to make sure that my uncle is cared for, respected and heard. The director, Robin is an angel sent from Heaven!"

"We are choosing Ellen's Home of Germantown South for my husband because it seemed like a good fit for him. It was more sparsely populated and there was more room for him since people weren't right on top of each other. The place was very neat and the rooms were nice-sized. They had a bird aviary there, which was very interesting. It just looked like things were under control. No locks on the door, which was something different but necessary for some. The staff was very helpful and informative. Overall, it was a very good tour experience. It just felt right."

"Ellen's Home of Germantown was very nice. They were very friendly. They were accommodating. We discussed different issues and personal belongings, and they were very accommodating and tried to help solve how we could accommodate different things. Overall, they were just willing to help in any way, shape, or form. They were nicely laid out. Everything was clean. I didn't see anything in disrepair. Everything looked quite nice."

"I toured Brookdale Sussex. I liked that it was intimate. I like the floor plan where the residents are close to everything, close to the staff, and close to the dining, and living rooms. Everything's very close and the staff can check on them throughout the day. They're not far away. They're close to all the activities, to all the help they need, and the meals. I just thought the whole setup was very positive. The staff is friendly. The director, Jessica, was very informative, very helpful, and answered all my questions. She is very capable and cares about the people there. They have a lovely porch on the front and then at the back, they had another nice porch, so people could, if they wished to be outside in the warmer weather, it would be nice because then they aren't stuck inside."

"Mom just got in at Oak Hill Terrace Senior Living, but so far it's favorable. It's clean and well laid out, but on the smaller side from the three other places we looked at. So far, the staff seems very good. They play games, have exercise classes, trivia, and bingo. They go on outings, too."

"Pleasant Point Senior Living was nice. I liked it because the manager took us into a room to see what the room looked like. We had seen the other people there, and it looked like a great place to us. The room included a little kitchen and stuff. It looked like it was still adequate and very clean. They had everything that we needed. The cafeteria was pretty cool, too. The staff who took us around was informative. You can say that she had a lot of experience."

"I went to see Home Harbor Racine, and it was a nice and clean place. The furniture in the dining room was very appropriate. It has soft cushions and arms on the chairs. The person who gave the tour was very informative. She did fine. I saw the first floor and an elevator to the second floor. I did think that, in my brother's case, it might be a bit too much walking, but what I liked about it was that the furniture in the lounge areas seemed comfortable. It also seemed like people were out of their rooms and conversing with each other, so that seemed good to me. From what I saw, the place was also clean."
