My mother-in-law is now residing at Library Square. We like it a lot. It seems to offer the things that my mother-in-law need. They are very hospitable. It goes independent through assisted living. We are pleased to see that a lot of the residents are out and about. They have a nice dining room and people seem to be very happy with the food and the accommodations. The staff is friendly. They also have activities every day. They have things for the residents who choose to participate. They have a lot of programming like get-together. I like the idea that your food is served to you at a table. You also have some choices as far as the menu goes. They have a calendar for the monthly activities and they seem to do a lot of things to try to keep people active.

I toured Library Square Senior Living. The thing I liked best about it was it was very clean. Everybody there seemed to be well taken care of and very upbeat. The things I didn't like, I don't think there were too many things. It's like being located on a bus line, so I would have transportation. The fire station is a couple of blocks down, so the ambulances would be very close. There's a grocery store about four blocks down, so you could go grocery shopping. The only thing I would say about it is it's not in a location where there'd be a lot of stores. However, I like the fact that it's placed behind the West Dallas Public Library and you almost can't see it. So it's very secluded. I like that part. They had a little store where you could pick up little things, laundry detergent if we needed it, and snacks and things like that. They also had a beauty shop there. They had a lot of areas like a puzzle area where if you liked to work on puzzles there was always a couple going on and people were there. There was a library. There was a TV room and an exercise area. I haven't had any food there, however, the chef was there talking to us a little bit, and from the things he was talking about, it sounded like it was pretty good food. The staff was wonderful. She spent a lot of time with me and made sure that we traveled through the whole facility to see everything and showed me several rooms, not just one. So, that was good.

We're moving into Library Square Senior Living. We like the place. The apartment was bigger than the one I had looked at. It had a dishwasher, but some didn't. It is the most affordable for us. It is bright and cheerful. The apartment has a stove, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The staff who took us around was wonderful. They provide 20 meals apiece per month and we can choose between lunch and dinner. We have a patio-like, little deck with our apartment. Not all apartments have that, but we're on the first floor and we have one. However, they're remodeling all the common spaces right now.

I toured Library Square Senior Living, and I was very impressed with the overall facility. It's right in the heart of West Allis, so there are several stores nearby. That was relatively close to my house, too. My wife and I visited it and it seemed like a very friendly and nice place to live. They showed me a list of all the activities that they had scheduled for that month and it was relatively significant. They had several bus trips planned and they were taking people to a baseball game one day and to the zoo another day. They also went to a bingo parlor another day. They had a nice exercise room onsite. They had all kinds of activities set up.

I will be moving into Library Square Senior Living. I like the friendliness and welcoming atmosphere. They have three different sizes for a one-bedroom. I got to see the smaller one-bedroom and the large one-bedroom. The tour was great. The person who gave me the tour was very friendly, very welcoming, and very helpful in answering questions. The dining room looks nice and welcoming. It was clean and neat.

I toured Library Square. It doesn't have memory care there, and mom has Alzheimer's. We don't think she needs memory care right now, but I wanted her to be in a place where she doesn't have to move again. I was very happy with Library Square. I toured two assisted living rooms there, and they were very nice. They were two one-bedrooms that varied in size. The first one-bedroom was 700 square feet; it was really beautiful and very large. The other one-bedroom was more like 550 square feet, and that was fine, too. They were both very nice, just different sizes. The person who gave me the tour was very helpful. I've been on the phone with her several times, just planning on sending my mom there. She did a good job.
