"We toured Savannah Court of Brandon. Everything was nice. It's a little bit older but it was in very good condition. The rooms were nice. They had a hair salon for women. They had physical therapists that came in there too. We didn't eat there. It's a nice facility, and the people were very nice."

"Currently John is in Central Tampa Assisted Living. The staff keeps me informed, but I am there very often. The rooms are very large. It is clean and has basic furnishing. The food looks fine and highly sufficient. He is in a separate dining room because he needs help in finishing his meal. It is a basic dining room. The whole building is secured. They have varied activities for those able to take active participation, but most of them he is not able to do. They have bingo, but they do not have outside trips that I am aware of. They take good care of their patients. They have a more than sufficient number of staff. The staff has been there for a long time. They don't have a great turn over. They know all of their patients by name. They are aware of where all of their patients are. Their patients have a great deal of freedom. They have outside areas that patients are allowed to go to at will, which is wonderful. "

"Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch looked very good. The staff was very good in explaining everything. It is a little further away from where we live and there are a lot of businesses nearby, which we did not really like. The rooms looked very nice. "

"The staff is excellent and very personal and caring toward my mother and myself. Christine the manager goes out of her way to make sure that my mom feels like she's at home. My mom calls the staff member her daughters and that they protect her and look out for her. The facilities is clean and the cleaning staff also care about the residents Overall an excellent place I sleep well knowing my mom is well taken care of."

"What I liked the most about Elan Manatee Assisted Living & Memory Care was the staff. They were amazing to work with and the place was beautiful and very clean. The outdoor spaces were very well taken care of. They have a beauty/barbershop, a cute little place for coffee and bagels, a library, a game room, and a theater room. The apartments were very spacious, very clean, very bright, and airy, too."

"I will be moving in to Allegro-St Petersburg. The grounds are beautiful, and the facility is very nice. It's very accessible to stores and all that I'm used to, and it's only 15 minutes from my house. I will have a 1-bedroom apartment which is right by the water, and it's extremely pleasant. The food is very good, and they offer 2 meals a day. They have a menu every day. They had a birthday party when I was there, and they have a list of activities posted that you can participate. "

"I went to tour here. It was nice, but not someplace that we would put my mom because it was sort of dingy. It wasn't dirty, it's just not bright and cheery, and the residents that were there were not people that she would connect with. It felt like there were a lot of men, and I just didn't get a good feeling of the place. But it wasn't that it wasn't clean or that they weren't pleasant, because they were. They just got bought out and they just put a new roof in and they're doing some painting and they're going to remodel the rooms and they're putting new flooring in. So they're going in the right direction. It just wasn't a big enough community. The person who gave the tour was very informative, she was very pleasant, she was just good and I liked her. They don't have enough activities from what I gathered from the staff. It sounded like they do a lot of things, but not really anything my mom would be interested in, so it wouldn't work for her. They just bring entertainment in and they do activities with them."

"I toured Magnolia Gardens Assisted Living. I like that place, but my brother could not go there. I like the size of the rooms. There was a lot of space there. However, I didn't see a lot of staff around while I was there. But everybody looked well taken care of. They had strolling walkways and they had gardening. There were plenty of activities and a large assortment of activities. They had a courtyard. It's very, very close to my home."

"Brentwood at St. Pete was very nice and really clean. The dining area was extremely small, it didn't really do anything for me. When I went to another community, it kind of sold me right away. This community was very nice and convenient. The staff that took us around, Marcia, she was very informative and showed us three rooms. I guess the overall experience was very nice, we just liked the other place better. I just didn't like the dining area, it wasn't that it wasn't clean, it was just very small and impersonable. They had activities for the residents there, if you want to go shopping for the day they have a bus that comes and picks people up, and they had doctors that come in if you want to see a doctor. There were different areas where you could watch TV or play pool and they had an outside garden area. I didn't notice anything weird smelling or anything like that. They offered different-sized rooms."

"Brookdale Palma Sola was very clean and well kept. They had transportation available. It felt homey, and the dining area was very nice. The staff was very good. The facility was nice, but it was dated and it needed to be updated. I suggest more groundskeeping, get more flowers in there and have a flower bed and topiaries to liven up the place. Parking was good."
