"Tampa Gardens Senior Living was very clean and organized. They were doing a lot of remodeling. We've seen the remodeled rooms, and they were beautiful. The people were extremely friendly. We spoke to some residents there, and they were very, very happy with the facility. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They had a microwave. They had a lot of little garden areas."

"We visited the independent living community of Lake Morton Senior Living, and everything was wonderful. I like that they come and clean your house once a week. We are not totally disabled or anything, but cleaning the house and keeping it maintained has become very difficult for us, and it's never completely clean, so that part really appealed to me. Their rooms were very spacious, and I can see us being in there. It's big enough to put a queen-size bed. They have transportation to wherever you want to go and outings. Some people there like to gamble, so they've had an outing to Las Vegas. They offer a variety of entertainment, and they have a library, too. They'll do your laundry for you, but there's a laundry facility there if you want to do it yourself. They have a little gift and snack shop there to buy just small things. They schedule different activities, so when we were there a few days later, they were going to have a sock hop dance, time dancing, and they had Bible devotions three times a week. There is just a lot to do there. The tour we had was just amazing, and all the people were just very friendly, kind, and concerned."

"Sunstar Village is an awful place. It's small. I think they have like maybe 30 people. They can only handle up to 50, but they are about half full, and I can see why. The place is old and dingy, and they have very limited staff. I found that the security is not very good. They did offer me a private room with a nice bathroom, but everything is older. I met the owner. He was in his office, and he's a young guy. It needs a lot of help. It's pretty run-down. I saw a lot of residents in wheelchairs slumped over. I saw that in every room. I didn't find it to be very inviting or anything like that. The staff was kind of distracted, like she didn't really want to give the tour, even though I scheduled it. She obviously forgot because I showed up and she asked me why I was there. She was nice enough, but not upbeat, just kind of going through the motions. All I saw was the outside place where the smokers go. They have an activity room that doubles as a dining room. They don't have a separate wing for memory care. They mix them all up."

"Thank you to the Staff at Addington Place for taking good care of my 94 year old father during the onset of hurricane Irma. Everything was handled so professionally. The communication was excellent and i feel very comfortable with my father living at Addington Place. It's been a very accommodating place. Many thanks to all of the staff!!!!"

"It was beautiful. It was more like a cruise ship than a living facility. The staff were very good and very accommodating. The dining area was also beautiful. They would take you off campus (to your doctor's appointment or shopping) and they show movies, too. They had an area inside and outside where residents could just sit and relax with each other."

"My parents moved into The Barrington last month, they liked it. They're doing everything that they're supposed to be doing and helping. I think the staff is awesome. They don't always like the food given to them. They have activities every day. They have bingo, crafts, and exercises. They have a pool, a place for exercise, they have a pool room, a card room, they have a library, and they have a place to give haircuts."

"My mother was a resident of Inspired Living. She came to the community in need of care, and the nurses and aides were wonderful, Her health improved greatly. It was an assisted living community, and it didn't provide the kind of activities necessary to keep my mother stimulated and active. That was frustrating for her, so that's why she wanted to move out. I thought it was good value considering all that they did for the residents. They provided wonderful care for my mother."

"I really like Hacienda Heights. They have manufactured homes. When we went inside, we got a guy to show us some places, and he said they even have places where you can rent. The rent would be cheaper than what I'm paying here. They have activities. They have a pool, they have Friday night potluck suppers, and they celebrate holidays. They have the whole nine yards; they do it all! "

"I liked Hawthorne very much. It was clean. The staff was very friendly. Their private rooms and shared rooms were in decent sizes. They had games for the residents and they took them out by bus. "

"I liked StrawBerry Ridge because it was quiet and serene. The mobile homes that I saw were the ones that somebody else had lived in, but the layout was very easy to move around in. They also had brand new mobile homes available. The people there were friendly. They have a lot of activities there. The staff was awesome and helped a lot in explaining things. It was a good location for me because you don't get all that noise even though you're close to restaurants and malls. The grounds were very clean and easy to maneuver. There were flower gardens, so they made it nice and cozy."

"We have had eight years of care-free living. Service has been prompt and pleasant. Aston Gardens is a very nice place to be. "

"My husband and I live in Sun City Center, a community for those aged 55 and over. They have courts for pickleball, tennis, bocce, horseshoes, and softball. They've got a pretty active softball team, and the pickleballers are getting pretty aggressive, too. They're starting to compete nationally. They also have the dog park and the community center, where they have bingo on Monday nights. They have health fairs and things like that in the community center, too. They even have their own travel club here. They're very clean because they have people who constantly clean. They have swimming pools and spas. They have a theater here and a miniature railroad. They also have stained glass classes, art classes, and pottery classes. They have hiking trails and garden areas where you can garden. They have a lot going on, and they're building more. They really try to meet the needs of the members. They have so much to do here that if you can't find something to do, that's your problem. They have libraries, swimming classes, dancing classes, tap classes, and exercise classes. They also have a fitness center. Most of the staff members are volunteers, and they're very friendly and very open about what we have here. We have the only free ambulance service in the nation that's staffed by volunteers, and that's a big plus. I've had to use them when my husband has fallen here at home, and I can't get him up. They came out and transported him to the hospital for free. If they're available, they'll take you back, too. It really is very well run. They have CPR classes, and they have their own security patrol system, and we were part of that."
