"Angels Senior Living At Palma Ceia was very nice and clean. The people were absolutely wonderful. The staff was very sweet, nice, and accommodating. The room we saw was fantastic, well-kept, and the bathroom was extremely clean. The food smelled very good."

"My mother will be moving into Angels Senior Living at New Tampa memory care unit. So far, so good. We have to move our own furniture in, but the room was clean and the size was good for us. The staff was nice, and they have good service. They have activities, but very simple ones. They have everything inside. They're pretty new."

"First and foremost the staff here are the most caring you could ever wish for. Not only did they take care of Mom the way we would, they became family. Communication was constant and the care was outstanding. Rooms were beautiful and well kept. Residents were engaged in activities and enjoyed making friends there.Our fears of leaving Mom with strangers never existed. "Inspired Living at Sun City Center is clean, the staff is very caring and hands-on, they go over and above to make sure the residents are safe or comfortable, and they will talk to the families about anything that you need to talk to them about; that's what I was looking for. The best thing is that they actually watch and take care of my mother like I would. Whenever there's a problem, like when she's feeling anxious, there's somebody there to take care of her. They take the residents to baseball games and ice cream socials once a month. "

"Chapman Manor was good, but it was different in the way it was set up for memory care. They're locked in because memory care people tend to roam or leave, but the way it was set up was so obvious to my mother. They had a separate section, and it was behind closed doors and she did not like that. It wasn't bad. The studios were very nice and very clean. It was upstairs. They had assisted living upstairs also, but it was separate. It was a white door that had a keypad to get in and out, and there were no windows. You could not look into that section. The way the building curved, it was hard to tell anything except that you're going through this door that has a keypad on it. Mom wouldn't be able to get in and out by herself. She would always have to be with somebody, of course, but it was just so obvious to her. They had many things going on. Mom was assured that she would be able to participate in anything that assisted living was doing. Memory care had its things, they were doing, but also assisted living had its things, and the assisted living section was upstairs and downstairs. She thought she was going to be locked in and couldn't come out. That wasn't Chapman Manor's fault. They assured her over and over again that she would be able to participate in anything, but it's just how it looked to her, and once she saw it that way, that was it. You couldn't change her mind. While it was maintained well, it did kind of seem like an old building."

"We have been extremely happy with the choice of IL Tampa for our family member. Everyone there is so supportive and kind. The communication and care is top notch. I especially love all the updates they post on FB to see what activities they are doing at the community. "

"Arden Courts of Tampa is an only memory care community. I like how active they had the residents being, like they were constantly engaged in activities or socializing. They weren't just sort of left there to sit, like they were constantly interacting with either other residents there or with staff. So they were just engaged. They have all inclusive care instead of levels of care, because they know that there are different days that will be different stages for people who suffer from Alzheimer's and dementia. They are really active in terms of like social and emotional and physical well-being, like they make sure that their activities touch on all of those on a daily basis. The staff was knowledgeable, personable, and just really cared that this was the right fit, and gave me plenty of time to ask any and all questions."

"My friend moved to Tampa Gardens Senior Living. We chose that place because my mother was there before and because she's going to get a hip replacement, and then they have their own rehab so she could stay in the same facility. The staff is excellent. Originally, they didn't have a private room, so she was in a semi-private room, and just recently they had a private room, so we're moving into a private room tomorrow. They do a lot of activities. First thing in the morning, they get bathed and get clean clothes on to get them all fresh. Then she goes down to their dining room in the memory care and she has breakfast. After that, they have activities. So, she went from doing nothing in rehab to getting up and staying busy all day long, and she's doing wonderful. The day that we were checking her in there, it just so happened that she hadn't had lunch, and we were waiting for her room to get ready, and they brought her her lunch. Where she was at before, she was malnourished and dehydrated because the food was so terrible. They brought lunch to her in the office, and she ate everything. She loves the food and she said everybody is really nice to her. They have more aides in the memory care than they do in the assisted living. I looked at a couple other places and I wasn't as impressed as I was with the amenities at Tampa Gardens Senior Living. The facility is immaculate. She's always changed. They started toileting her because when she was in the rehab, she had fallen and broke her femur on the right side, and then she needed a hip replacement on the left side. Now, they're taking her to the restroom like every two hours and she's not reliant on adult diapers anymore. It's really good. They are excellent. They're always informing us about what's going on and how she's getting along. They keep in touch with us all the time, so it's wonderful. She's very limited to what she can do because she can't stand up on her own, but they're really good about helping her get out of a wheelchair and sitting at the dining room table in a regular chair and then getting her up. So they're making a lot of progress with her mobility, in spite of the fact that she needs a hip replacement. They're all expensive. I knew what the expense was going to be because I went through this with my mother. So, we compared their prices with other facilities, and they're all very similar."

"My Mom has been living in the memory care unit at Beach House for 18 months. The staff is compassionate and attentive to her needs. She feels very secure there. We were so impressed with the way they handled the recent emergency evacuation. They made it as comfortable and stress free as possible. "

"Angels Senior Living at The Reserves Of Idlewild was a newer facility. I like the room for my wife. They were repainting everything. I like the lady who took me on a tour there, and it looked like they had everything that we needed. They even set us up with a preferred rehab specialist there, so it was pretty amazing. They had a rehab center. They had three meals a day. They had different levels of care. They had a bus to take people around, a beauty shop, entertainment, and activities. It was a modern facility."

"My mom is at Angels Senior Living at the Lodges of Idlewild, and it has been a very good experience. She is very well taken care of. They know if she doesn't come to meals. They check on her. They help with her meds, and they are caring when they come in. She has a good friend there now (one of the staff), and so she is very happy there. The rooms are very nice and spacious. They're kept clean and updated. I've tried their food and it's fine for me. The people down there who are waiting on the residents are very good. If she doesn't like what she's having, they take it back and fix it. They have a theater, a library, a sitting room, an area out back for walking or sitting on benches and reflecting, a mailbox area, a laundry area, and a restaurant-type dining room. During Hurricane Ian, I was down in Fort Myers, and she was up there in Lutz. We weren't going to be able to get to her, so when we called to check how they were going to take care of her, they had it all listed out and all planned and everything figured out. So, we were very comfortable with her being there as the storm came."

"My neighbor William is at Grace Manor. He is in a private room, and it is very nice. It is small but very nice. It has a large bath and shower. The food is very good according to William. He really is enjoying the meals very much because he lived by himself for so long and only had the one meal a day, so having three square meals, he thinks he is in heaven. The staff is very nice and very accommodating. They have entertainment every afternoon. They do trips for those who are able. William has his own television, and he watches that. However, he is bothered by the fact that he can't go outside by himself, but that's the way it is when you're in the dementia ward. The door is locked, and anyone of the attendants has a key to let you in and out. We went and visited several facilities, but because Grace Manor has a dementia ward, it seemed like the best place for William, but it is very expensive. "
