I visited this facility

Twin Creeks was dark, and it didn't seem clean. The other thing is the director was not there. There was someone else who was giving us the tour, so he seemed less knowledgeable. He was very friendly, and we liked him, but the tour seemed a little less professional. It was a nice facility, too, but the rooms at the other place looked newer and bigger. I think we didn't have the person who was supposed to give us the tour, but we chose to take the tour anyway. The staff who gave the tour was very friendly, and he showed enthusiasm for the facility. We saw one of the rooms, but it was in disarray. I think someone had just moved out. He probably shouldn't have taken us in that room, but it was the director of the home who normally gives the tours, so he probably would have known better not to take us in that room. And the rooms were smaller and darker.

My brother-in-law was at Twin Creeks for respite. They just really took good care of him and let us know everything that was going on, if there's a problem they call. The room was very clean, very nice, and had a good layout. The food smells good but we never tried it. There were activities, but he didn't participate. They're a little higher than a couple of places, but there are not too many places to take him.

Twin Creeks was beautiful. Everyone there seemed happy. As soon as you walk in, you didn't smell an antiseptic smell or a urine smell. It's very clean-smelling. I told the lady when we were there, I wish I could move in there. They had a theater, a gym, and a happy hour for the guests. They had everything. The people were just very, very friendly. The place itself was new and it had kind of a plantation home feel to it. They had a couple of really good balconies and porches they could sit on. It was very nice. The staff was very helpful and very informative. I have not tried the food, but it looked delicious. The chef put a little plate out for everybody to see before they went to dinner and it looked really good and it smelled good, too.

I toured Twin Creeks. The thing I liked best about it was the location, and the thing I liked least was they didn't have a bed for my husband. The staff were all friendly and they all greeted us as we went in. They were just very friendly people. The facility was bright and sunny, which is what I was looking for for my husband to move into.

Twin Creeks was a nice facility. I went there based on a neighbor's daughter who said that she had put her mother there because she said that her mother liked it. I liked it, and I thought my mother would be comfortable there. It was well-appointed and it was very well-kept and clean. It offered chef-prepared meals. Everything was pretty well on par with most places that I had seen. However, they also had relatively high prices. I was told that the facility was only four years old, but it was definitely out of my mother's budget. The woman who gave us the tour was very professional. Everyone I encountered was also very professional. It's just that their price was just too high. The rooms were very nice. It was a typical place that offered a wide selection of layouts like studios and one-bedrooms. They might have even had shared companion rooms.

My husband is staying at Twin Creeks Assisted Living & Memory Care Community. We are very satisfied and happy with them. It was perfect. They did a great job. He has been there for almost a month now. They're understaffed sometimes, but besides that, they do an excellent job. The facility itself is clean. Great food. My husband wasn't eating very much, but that wasn't their fault. They clean everything. They love their patients. The coordinators and the administrator, are always involved in everything that you do. When you walk in, they ask you, 'Hi, how are you doing?' And everybody is very friendly. Unfortunately, my husband was not able to do too many activities because he was pretty much a vegetable there for a long time because they had overmedicated him at the hospital. As far as amenities, they have a little bus and if you want to, you can go to their doctor. They have an amazing, sweet, and very nice therapist. They have TV, they have karaoke, and they have a nice little place where they can sit outside. It's not a big place, and it's more contained. I think it's a safe place. I honestly do not have anything bad to say about them. It's a great place.

Provider Response

Thank you Dottie. It has been an honor to take care of your husband. We appreciate you both being part of our community.

My dad moved into The Twin Creeks. It looks like a nice facility and they're doing a reasonable job with a shortage of personnel that everybody's got right now. They have nice amenities, but they have COVID in the area and the place is locked down, so I have not been able to make use of those items. Before my dad moved in, we had a tour, and they took us through the whole facility. We got to see everything, and they answered most of our questions. We probably didn't have as many questions as we should have had. More of them came up afterwards but they were able to answer those so far. I've not been witness to the activities because we're not allowed into the facility. They can bring one person out and you could meet in an isolated location, but you can't just go back and see what's going on. We're able to go meet at what they call the porch. That's the outdoor facility. There's some room for improvement, and I think that goes back to the difficulties in staffing right now, and the communication with the responsible person. You can certainly get there if you make an appointment, but you can't just stop by. In fact, at the moment, you can't go in at all without an appointment. I have not tasted the food, but I suspect it's probably fine. I met the chef who seemed like a nice guy, and he made my father and I a sandwich, and it was perfectly fine. The facility looks in tip top shape there. Everything's maintained very well. It's a little expensive, but it's a hard job.

My friend moved into Twin Creeks Assisted Living & Memory Care, and so far, so good. We're still on COVID lockdown, but I talk to her daily, I talk to the nurses daily, they communicate with me, and they're wonderful at communication.

Toured this facility with a friend and it was overly priced, didn't see much staff, was told some of the original hired staff had already changed since they've opened, which means high turn overs on staff. Everything new looks nice, but not sure if price is really worth the care.

I like Twin Creeks but it's a lot more money and it's too expensive. It's newer and the rooms were nicely made and were like model apartments. They fixed it up really nicely.

My mom is at Twin Creeks, and so far, it’s been a good environment. The staff is very caring, and she seems happy. They were nice, they seemed friendly, and ready to meet our needs during the tour. It’s one of the nicer places I’ve seen. This is the nicest one, and of course it's clean and there are no smells. They have ongoing activities every day, arts and crafts, and musicians come out and perform. This place was closer to me in terms of location.

Twin Creeks was a brand-new place in a well-traveled area close to many features. It was run by a nice lady. The apartments were clean and neat. My brother wanted to move in there right away, but we had other plans in our minds and we convinced him that he didn't need to do so. Nevertheless, they had all the accommodations and all the amenities that were necessary for that style of living. The staff was excellent. She was quite explanatory of all the things we had inquired about like the rooms, the meals, and the common areas. It was very nice. They have a variety of rooms. They have some places that accommodate two people in one room and they have individual studios, but all of them were quite affordable. The people that were there looked happy too.

We're moving my brother this week to the memory care of Twin Creeks. It's a brand-new facility. They have two, trained nurses who give the medications. It's well laid out, and his room will be near the nurse's station. Everybody I have dealt with interviewed my brother, and they seem very skilled and appropriate.

Provider Response

We are excited to have your brother here, and strive to deliver the best personalize care. Thank you for the great referral, Twin Creeks Team
