"My mom was in Marywood before. It was very good; that's why I tried to get her back in there again. She was there for rehabilitation because she couldn't walk after she got out of the hospital. The staff was very good. Everything about it was very good. They give good care. It was very clean. It was close to our house. Some of the food was really good, and some was mediocre, but she didn't really complain about it too much. "

In general, I thought Camelot Nursing facility was an excellent nursing facility for a low income person or for a person on a limited fix income. Camelot was a nice facility and it offers competitive rates for someone who is looking for an excellent patient care nursing facility for a friend or family member that are low income or that are on a limited fixed income. The grounds of the facility are pretty and the landscape was very well maintained and structured in a nice suburban neighborhood in Westland Michigan. The common areas of the facility are in a very nice suburban neighborhood with malls, restaurants and shopping centers surrounding to the facility. The facility is nice and clean and it does not smell. The patients receive excellent care at Camelot Nursing facility and the vast majority of residents are happy there. There residents' rooms are nice and the coordination is nice and of many bright colors such as; white, off white, and beige and the colors are also coordinated well together. The carpet is earth tone, brown and the furniture is medium brown in the residents' rooms. The staff and management of the facility are very professional and team, task, oriented in their specific job duties and their performance. I think the residents receive excellent care there. The vast majority of residents were happy and interacting with one another and some of the rooms are huge and have four beds in them. Camelot matches up the rooms that have four beds in them; to residents that are most similar in character and personality. The residents' rooms did not smell there were automatic air fresheners in the residents' rooms that set off as I noticed every twenty or thirty minutes on a timely basis. While I was there, I noticed that the residents were treated like family with great respect and dignity from the staff and management. I also noticed that they dining, recreational, and activity areas were rather large and nicely coordinated with matching furniture in all three rooms. I also noticed that the entire setting of the facility was structured and maintained well and had more of a contemporary style look and décor enhancing it. I would have to give Camelot Nursing facility a five star rating for its excellence in patient care. Overall, Camelot Nursing facility is an excellent choice for someone that is looking for an excellent patient care nursing facility for a friend or family member that is low income or on a limited fix income. I would recommend Camelot Nursing facility to anyone, everyone, and for seniors 50 and over that is looking for an excellent low income nursing facility for a friend or family member because I know they would like it there and because I know that they would do well there. "

"I did a tour at St. Jude Nursing Center. I was impressed. The hospitality and genuine feeling of welcoming was over whelming Not to often do you find an environment so inviting in the healthcare industry. I am delighted with the experience. . "

"Recently my mom had a stay at Livonia Woods, this was her second time there. The administration staff is excellent, qualified and caring people. The rehab department is very good and realistic about limits and goals of the patient. David the activities director, is the shining star of the facility with his consistent care and concern. I agree with the previous reviewer about the dining room being small, but it's ok. The quality of the food is average, they do try to accommodate a patient's requests when possible. Nursing and aid staff do the best they can considering there are numerous patients do deal with at all times. As a family member, my best advice is to be hands on. It's unrealistic to think that you can just drop off your loved one and everything will go without a glitch. At any nursing home, you will need to double check on the patient's medications, meals, grooming, etc., and do the best you can to work with the staff. "

"We liked Star Manor of Northville enough to place our mom there. However, she had some incidents that she had to go to the hospital and now we wanted to bring her back. They had a lovely staff. I was not there during any activities, but I knew they had a list every day by hour of what activities they were going to do. I know they did flower arranging, bingo, and puzzles. The dining area was small, but they did three meals a day. "

"The experience we have had at Hope Health Care has had its ups and downs. The staff is either on the good side of the spectrum or the bad. The nurses, some of them really know how to do their job. I have really liked a few of them, and others well I don't understand how they got a job there. The social workers they have there are great. They are willing to work with you 110% on everything you need. Hope has plenty of things to do for the elderly, game days, sing a-longs, bingo, and sometimes they even go out on outings. There was one time they went to a baseball game, my mother in-law loved it. The meals they serve there are pretty good. Usually they have a couple different choices, just in case someone doesn't like the "main" course, they have substitutes for them. All in all, I would recommend it to anyone that needs assisted living, they are kind and courteous at Hope and I am glad we picked them. "

"As close to home as you can get. Clean spacious rooms. Home cooked meals. Compassionate caregivers. Very peaceful. They admitted my mom when no one else would and provide excellent care. Her room is beautiful. Amy treats everyone with kindness and respect and has a great knowledge about dementia care. I can finally rest easier knowing mom is well cared for. "

The food looked great and the residents there seem to enjoy the food they were eating. The management and staff their treat their residents like family. The common grounds of the facility were in a beautiful suburban neighborhood in Michigan and the surrounding neighborhoods were also well landscaped, maintain and structured. The residents there like it there and I know that anyone 50 and over would like it there too. The residents there receive excellent care there and they also offer their residents a variety of services, activities, and recreations. I know that their residents are comfortable there because they conveyed to me that they like it there. Their residents also socialize with one another congruently. It is such a homey environment and atmosphere there too. I enjoyed t it there too while visiting there at Dorvan Nursing Center. In general, I would rank Dorvan Nursing Center on a five stars rating for their excellence and expertise. "

"My mother-in-law is currently there. We have found the staff willing to listen to our comments and suggestions are implemented about as well as can be I think. Like most places, the staff is spread thin enough that residents' buzzers may not get answered immediately, but generally they are looked after well. The activities are frequent and efforts are made to involve residents that can participate. When visiting, noticing any offending odor is rare. I do my mother-in-law's laundry, and find she is dressed in clean clothes daily. A pressure sore she has from sitting has been treated on and off successfully. They are attentive to her physical and mental care. "

"I didn't like Autumnwood of Livonia; it just didn't grab me. It was spacious and OK, but they were doing lot of construction. The residents weren't doing any activities. The person who assisted me did fine. She was knowledgeable and knew about her community."

In general, I thought White Hall Nursing Rehabilitation and Nursing Center was an excellent choice for someone who is looking for an excellent placement for a friend or family member. White Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is beautiful inside and out with a cozy cul-de-sac appearance. The grounds of the facility are beautiful and wooded in appearance that tends to set off a cozy cul-de-sac look it is so heart warming to see. The common areas of the facility are in a very beautiful wooded like area and the beauty of the trees and landscape is just simply breath taking. The surrounding neighborhood is also that of a cul-de-sac appearance as well. The residents' rooms are beautiful and nice and clean and have no smell the residents’ rooms are of beige and earth tone colors that all bend very well together and compliment the facility. The residents rooms are very formal but of a contemporary style living. The residents were all very happy when I visited my grandmother there and they were also interacting with one another also. The staff and management of the facility are very dedicated to the residents, professional, and team, task, oriented in their job duties and performance. I think the residents receive excellent care there. While I was there, I noticed that staff was serving the residents various kinds of snacks as the residents were watching a movie. They were serving the residents juice, coffee, tea, Frito corn chips, potato chips, popcorn, and various other snacks. The residents conveyed to me that they like it there and that the staff there treats them like family. I would have to give White Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center a five star rating for their excellence and expertise. Overall, White Hall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is an excellent choice for placement for someone who is looking for a placement for a friend or a family member that would like to interact with some very nice people. I would recommend it to everyone, anyone or to anyone 50 and over because I know that they would do well there and I know that they would like it there. "

My grandmother needed a lot of encouragement to get up and do things and they were all very helpful. The unit manager came and checked on her daily jut to see how she was doing. I would bring her back if ever the need came again. "
