My mother, who has sinced passed. Was forced into this DUMP by the hospital n 2016 Had to take her back to the hospital for dehydration, she was 90 at the time. Nurses very unresponsive & rude. Usually 1 nurse for the whole floor. Food was awful, melted candy in the canfy machine. Didn"t see any activities for seniors. Just residents walking around, asking for help. The hospital discharged her to a much better nursing home once I got her on medicaid.

Horrible staff. They have no compassion or concern for their residents. Awful bedside manner, as well as a lack of manners. Wouldn't recommend this place. They'll ignore the buzzers, as well as screen their calls if you try to contact them after your loved one calls you to get something done (such as being changed etc..)

The facility look clean.... But the service for the people who could not do for them selves was very disheartening, sad, and uncaring . Because my heart was in pieces when I want to visit my mother in the Lord ....This lady LOVE the Lord and through it all she is holding on to her Lord and Savior the spirits of our heavenly Father is with her......She had bedsore all over her body her condition is POOR her legs, arms couldn't move because the Doctor nurses, staff don't move her or request for any physical therapy or any other help with her condition. She lose her eye sight in Camelot facility two years ago and the doctors did nothing to improve the quality of life for her so she could cop with the change of not being able to see. I had to as the the aid to clean her up change her bedsheets and the aid come back with 3 cold wet wash towel in her hand and laid them down on the table beside the bed. I just had to see how far things would go.... know gloves , never wash her face, arm , legs, back, or private area I just did it . I had to ask her to change the bed sheet and that all she did . So I said What about the blanket and pillow case she said what about them???? I started crying and Praying .... Service was POOR!! And the quality of care to keep the people who can't do for themselves POOR ... Things that go around always come back .... I'm only asking for the staff to be kind , care about the job they apply for and got.. We all have somebody we Love and care about

I got my mother into Camelot Hall. I used to do eye care in nursing homes, and this was one of the nursing homes that I used to go to. I have seen the care they provide for the residents in there. The staff is so nice. Before I put her in there, as I took her and had her eye examined, they found out that she had really bad cataracts, they arranged for her to see an ophthalmologist and sent an aide with her to the ophthalmologist because I wasn't able to be there, and they also arranged for her to have the cataract surgery and then sent an aide with her that day because I couldn't be there with her that day either. My mom said they have really, really good food. She is pretty picky, and I chatted with her while she was eating dinner, and it looked very good. They play little games, and if she wins the games, she gets her nails polished at the end of the game. The whole staff is very, very caring. I know my mom is safe; it is a safe place.

I am a friend of a resident of Camelot Nursing facility. In general, I thought Camelot Nursing facility was an excellent nursing facility for a low income person or for a person on a limited fix income. Camelot was a nice facility and it offers competitive rates for someone who is looking for an excellent patient care nursing facility for a friend or family member that are low income or that are on a limited fixed income. The grounds of the facility are pretty and the landscape was very well maintained and structured in a nice suburban neighborhood in Westland Michigan. The common areas of the facility are in a very nice suburban neighborhood with malls, restaurants and shopping centers surrounding to the facility. The facility is nice and clean and it does not smell. The patients receive excellent care at Camelot Nursing facility and the vast majority of residents are happy there. There residents' rooms are nice and the coordination is nice and of many bright colors such as; white, off white, and beige and the colors are also coordinated well together. The carpet is earth tone, brown and the furniture is medium brown in the residents' rooms. The staff and management of the facility are very professional and team, task, oriented in their specific job duties and their performance. I think the residents receive excellent care there. The vast majority of residents were happy and interacting with one another and some of the rooms are huge and have four beds in them. Camelot matches up the rooms that have four beds in them; to residents that are most similar in character and personality. The residents' rooms did not smell there were automatic air fresheners in the residents' rooms that set off as I noticed every twenty or thirty minutes on a timely basis. While I was there, I noticed that the residents were treated like family with great respect and dignity from the staff and management. I also noticed that they dining, recreational, and activity areas were rather large and nicely coordinated with matching furniture in all three rooms. I also noticed that the entire setting of the facility was structured and maintained well and had more of a contemporary style look and décor enhancing it. I would have to give Camelot Nursing facility a five star rating for its excellence in patient care. Overall, Camelot Nursing facility is an excellent choice for someone that is looking for an excellent patient care nursing facility for a friend or family member that is low income or on a limited fix income. I would recommend Camelot Nursing facility to anyone, everyone, and for seniors 50 and over that is looking for an excellent low income nursing facility for a friend or family member because I know they would like it there and because I know that they would do well there.
