"Well where do I start? My name is Robby. Im 27. And got vary sick and needed rehabilitation not just in heaalth in life as well. So When i arived throwing a temper tantrum because i didnt want to go. I was extreamly impressed with the level of understanding and compasion for those who are in healing form.the staff and resadents. The atmosphere was that of cleanlyness and order even at worse times. My heart is to All of the nurses who were impressivly above the call of duty at all times. Alot of the aids did there best and i pray some of them will go far in life if they stick to it. Expeshaly Ms. Diane. That girl deserves a grant for shool or something. Shes got what it takes. I learned alot on my 2 week journy and il hold it wilth me forever. Even my boumont hospital stay. Those nurses were as equaly great people. In the end i wish everyone to get an individual thank you for your for service and the lessons I needed. I just want you all to know This next chapter in my quest for better life is all for you heartland... God Bless "

"My mom went to The Manor of Farmington Hills. At first, some of the staff were great, others weren't so great. The rehab part was really good, and my mom enjoyed that. The food was OK, and they tried to cater to the patient's dietary needs."

"This was the only nursing home I have ever had to have a family member in and it put a bad taste in my mouth. The person I had living in this center was my 67 year old grandmother, she ended up living there for 7 months before passing away. At first this place seemed like it was great the staff was friendly and everything seemed perfect. It seemed like this was an area you could trust a loved one to recover in or even live in for the rest if their life. A month and half down the road and my grandma has bed sores all over here back becuase they were not turning her. this was something that upset the family bigtime, not only because it was our loved one , but at lease two or three of my family members would be there from sun up til sundown every day, so it kinda was like a devoloping relationship type thing that they stabbed us in the back on. "

"I visited Saint Jude Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in 2010. In general, I thought Saint Jude Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, was an excellent choice for someone who is looking for a beautiful small private elegant and classy nursing facility for a friend or family member. The grounds of the facility are private and beautiful sets back off too itself in a cul-de-sac setting. The common areas of the facility are wooded looking with pine trees surrounding it and the scenery is so beautiful to look at; all seasons of the year. The surrounding areas of the neighborhood are also wooded looking, and have that cozy cul-de-sac appearance as well. You can imagine the picture perfect view in every season of the year and the winter is just too gorgeous to try to imagine. The residents rooms are beautiful and also have a picture perfect view their rooms are a combination of earth tone and pastel colors combined together to compliment the wooded view surrounding the facility. The facility does not smell and the facility also is a Christian based facility. There is an increased amount of prayer and mediation time for the residents. The country air surrounding the facility sends off a country fresh scent in the spring and summer, in the fall it sends off a fresh smell of fresh fall leaves and tree bark, in the winter it sends off a fresh pine scent because of surrounding pine trees that surround the facility. It is a perfect place for someone that loves to be in touch with their Christian denomination and enjoy a cul-de-sac environment and atmosphere and that just enjoy being around some nice people. The staff and management of the facility are very nice, professional, task, team, oriented in their job duties and performance and they treat their residents like family. I think the residents receive excellent and professional care there. While I was there, I noticed that the residents were having a prayer and they were being served, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate among various other snacks to eat such as cake, cookies, donuts, and potato chips etc. The residents conveyed to me that they love it there. Some of the residents were going home and they conveyed to me that they were spoiled by the staff there and that they hated to leave there. I would give Saint Jude Rehabilitation and Nursing Center a five star rating for their excellence and expertise in patient care. Overall, Saint Jude Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is an excellent choice for someone who is looking for a placement for a friend or a family member. I would recommend it to everyone, anyone, or for anyone over 50 because I know that they would like it there and I know that they would do well there. "

"I got my mother into Camelot Hall. I used to do eye care in nursing homes, and this was one of the nursing homes that I used to go to. I have seen the care they provide for the residents in there. The staff is so nice. Before I put her in there, as I took her and had her eye examined, they found out that she had really bad cataracts, they arranged for her to see an ophthalmologist and sent an aide with her to the ophthalmologist because I wasn't able to be there, and they also arranged for her to have the cataract surgery and then sent an aide with her that day because I couldn't be there with her that day either. My mom said they have really, really good food. She is pretty picky, and I chatted with her while she was eating dinner, and it looked very good. They play little games, and if she wins the games, she gets her nails polished at the end of the game. The whole staff is very, very caring. I know my mom is safe; it is a safe place. "

"My mother is in memory care. The staff is so kind and takes good care of my mother. After transferring her from another facility that didn't treat my mom well, this was a breath of fresh air. The facility is clean, and I always see the workers working hard. I am thankful to know that my mom is safe, and she always has a smile on her face now, when we come to visit her. Thank you for all the hard work that you do."

"When he just started staying at Village of Redford, the care program was our main issue for my dad or the care he was getting like medicine, blood pressure and diabetes check. The food seems OK. He seems OK. I believe the service is pretty good. "

"My mother initially came to Four Chaplains as a rehab patient. When it became apparent that she could no longer live independently, we asked her where she wanted to go, and she picked Four Chaplains on her own after resisting to go anywhere for years. The staff is wonderful and if there ever is a need or question, they are quick to address it. There are a great variety of activities which my mom really enjoys. The facility is always clean. There is a refrigerator for the patients/residents to use for their own snacks. Sometimes the laundry is hit and miss, but that is pretty common when doing laundry at this level for so many people. The nurses are always willing to get it resolved too. The staff are also very good about including me in my mom's care reviews which i greatly appreciate. The only thing I would change is the visiting hours during the week. They end at 6 and it is tough for me to get there when i get off work at 5. With that being said though, they have always been kind and understanding when we are running late past the end of visiting hours and have never hassled us about it. Thank you so much, Four Chaplains, for all the care you provide and alleviating the stress of worrying about my mom's care and safety when she lived alone. :-)"

"My mother moved into SKLD Plymouth. They are very caring and very thorough. The facility is clean. They have knowledgeable staff members. The food is good, and my mom is eating it. They do have activities, but my mom's unable to participate. I love their group dining. You can get your hair done. They have crossword puzzles and coloring. I haven't seen anybody unhappy. Everything is covered because my mom is a dialysis patient, so we don't have to pay anything. They make adjustments where needed. If something is off track, they try to ensure that it gets fixed immediately. For example, when my mom gets back from dialysis, they try to make sure everything is warm and ready when she gets situated. I appreciate that."

"I am a friend of a resident of Farmington Nursing Center. In general, I thought Farmington Nursing Center was an excellent choice for someone who is looking a placement for a friend or family member. Farmington Nursing Center is a nice place and it is pretty and in a really nice secluded neighborhood and it is a mid size facility. The grounds of the facility are pretty and very secluded in a country like setting surrounded by trees and in a rural wooded area and very well maintained and landscaped .The common area of the facility are country and secluded but there are houses spaced apart and the neighborhood is a very beautiful neighborhood and the neighborhood itself is also secluded. The residents' rooms are nicely coordinated with matching décor that all blend in well together. The colors are white, brown, orange, and yellow and a variety of other colors that all blend very well together and they also compliment the facility. The residents rooms doesn't smell and are very clean and neatly decorated. The residents get along very well together and seem to have a great time together and the food there looked good and the residents there conveyed to me that the food was good. The staff and management of the facility are professional and team, task oriented in their job duties and performance and treat their residents like family. I think the residents get excellent care there. While I was there, I noticed that a staff person was always seen for the convenience of their residents. I also noticed that the staff members and management interact often with their residents' and also keep track of their residents. It shows that they are concerned and have interest in the residents there. I would have to give Farmington Nursing Center a five star rating for their excellence and expertise. Overall, Farmington Nursing Center is an excellent placement for someone that is looking for a great placement for a friend or family member. I would recommend it to everyone and anyone over 50 because I know that they would like it there and I know that they would do well there because it is such a great placement. "

"I have placed my mother in 3 senior assisted homes. This is the best by far. Expert Loving Care! "

"My mother was at Medilodge of Plymouth. The people were very friendly. It was a much older place. The people were very nice; however, we didn't have the best experience just because of a miscommunication. My mother had a private room, but there wasn't a bathroom in the room. It made it really inconvenient for my mother because she couldn't walk and she had to be transferred into her wheelchair. Out of all the beds they had there, there were only five to six bathrooms that you had to share with multiple people. That was a little bit inconvenient. She didn't really get to participate in many activities while she was there, though they did have them. We didn't have the best experience there as far as that went. Again, the people that worked there were very nice and did what they could."

"I visited Westland Nursing facility in January of 2011. In general, I thought Westland was an excellent choice for someone that is looking for a placement for a friend or family member. The facility was beautiful inside and out and it was clean and well maintained and structured to fit anyone's individual needs. The grounds of the facility are beautiful and well maintained and very well structured and the landscape was beautiful and coordinated very well. The common areas of the facility were beautiful and had a much laid back, quiet atmosphere surrounding it. The surrounding neighborhood was also beautiful and complimented the facility in general the neighborhood was also beautiful and elegant looking. The residents' rooms are gorgeous and had a picture perfect view inside and out. The residents' rooms were of earth tone colors and the facility was also of earth tone colors also. The residents there were socializing with one another and seemed very happy together. Some of the residents were singing as one of the residents was playing the piano in a very large dining area. The facility did not smell and it was nice and clean. I really liked the décor in the facility it was all coordinated very well together and so did the furniture there. The furniture there was cherry and cedar wood but it was very beautiful to look at and I know that the residents also enjoy the beauty of the furniture and the other surrounding areas in and outside the facility. The staff and management of the facility are very professional, team, task oriented in their job duties and performance. They also treat the residents like family. I think the residents receive excellent and professional care there. While I was there, I noticed that the residents' food looked good and also smelled good. I noticed that a staff person was always in sight for the residents to see if they needed something a staff person was always available for them. I would give Westland Convalescent Center a five star rating for its excellence and expertise in patient care. Overall, Westland Nursing facility is an excellent choice for someone that is looking for a beautiful large nursing facility for a friend or family member who loves to interact with others in an elegant setting. There they would never get lonely because there are so many nice and wonderful people for them to interact with. I would recommend it to everyone, anyone, and anyone of any age group that is looking for a beautiful, elegant, nursing facility for a friend or family member. I know that they would like it there and I know that they would also do well there. "

"My father is in Regency at Westland. It's nice on the inside. It looks like a hotel. He's not sharing it with anybody, so he has a pretty big room. It looks pretty clean to me. I haven't really met too many of the staff, but they seem pretty good. Their rehabilitation area is huge and it's good. The dining area is just like a typical cafeteria-looking place."
