"I’m so happy I transferred my dad to this facility. We had a great experience. His last place looked like a jail and felt really cold. Regency was so invitin and homelike. They worked really hard helping me getting him transferred because the last place wanted to keep him because of his good insurance. Whenever I visited him, he seemed to be really taken care of. Call lights could be answered better but the staff were helpful when they did come. I’m not going to complain much because no place will be perfect but Regency was most def better then his last place all around. "

"The rooms of Oakwood Common are very neat and clean. They have a cleaning crew that comes in once a week. The staff is always friendly with smiles on their faces, and they know me and my mom by name. They are always there, willing to assist if I have any questions, and they show great concern. I think it is a nice facility. I have not eaten there, but the food looks very presentable. They make sure that the residents get nice meals. My mom has full-fledged dementia, and she does like it in her own way. They probably need a bit more variety of activities for the people to do there. "

"My 96 yr old mom moved here in Sept 2020 from a Senior Apartment that offered 3rd party daily assistance. Best move ever!! The woman who runs the assisted living area is a gift from heaven. She goes out of her way to make sure that mom feels like this is HER home and the staff will do what ever is needed to make my mom feel important. My mom needs help with toiletry and when she calls for help, the aides come right away and NEVER make my mom feel like she is a burden. My mom is a completely different person since moving here. The entire staff is friendly which just makes my mom into a HAPPY person! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place that their loved one is treated like family! "

"My husband moved to The Orchards of Wayne and so far it's been great. No complaints. So far, the staff has been good. The staff hasn't told me anything out of the ordinary. He's in a three-person room, so he's in a room with two other men. They do cooking, they play bingo, and they do some kind of activities for motor skills."

"I did a tour at St. Jude Nursing Center. I was impressed. The hospitality and genuine feeling of welcoming was over whelming Not to often do you find an environment so inviting in the healthcare industry. I am delighted with the experience. . "

"I didn't like Autumnwood of Livonia; it just didn't grab me. It was spacious and OK, but they were doing lot of construction. The residents weren't doing any activities. The person who assisted me did fine. She was knowledgeable and knew about her community."

"It was nice, clean, and spacious. It didn't smell like old people. The person who assisted me was knowledgeable and nice. The dining area looked OK. What turned me off was that they didn't have private rooms."

"I got my mother into Camelot Hall. I used to do eye care in nursing homes, and this was one of the nursing homes that I used to go to. I have seen the care they provide for the residents in there. The staff is so nice. Before I put her in there, as I took her and had her eye examined, they found out that she had really bad cataracts, they arranged for her to see an ophthalmologist and sent an aide with her to the ophthalmologist because I wasn't able to be there, and they also arranged for her to have the cataract surgery and then sent an aide with her that day because I couldn't be there with her that day either. My mom said they have really, really good food. She is pretty picky, and I chatted with her while she was eating dinner, and it looked very good. They play little games, and if she wins the games, she gets her nails polished at the end of the game. The whole staff is very, very caring. I know my mom is safe; it is a safe place. "

"My dad is in a long-term care facility, Pine Creek Manor. He has been there for three weeks now. The aides who work there are very companionable with the residents. The nurses are mean and short. There are three people to a room in a room that should only hold two people. So, it's overcrowded. You can't visit in the room; you have to visit in the lobby. Overall, I am not happy with the place. To get a day pass for him, it felt like we had to harass, harass, harass, harass, and then even when we got there, he wasn't ready to go. The residents are not a priority in that place. The place is very old, and it looks its age. It comes across as dirty. It may be clean, but it's so rundown that it just looks dirty. We're not allowed in the room. My dad is not eating while he's there; he's not eating well. Medicaid fully pays for it, so if Medicaid fully pays for it, I guess it's worth the money."

"I've been here at ProMedica Skilled Nursing And Rehabilitation for about 4 months now. This place is top-notch. Everything is very clean, the food is good, and everyone is pleasant. I have no complaints. I am in a shared room. It's got 3 beds in it and it's very roomy. I'm in a bed that has the most room. I have quiet roommates, so everything is just fine. We have our own shared bathroom. The food here is very good with a nice variety. There is a very large dining room. I do lots of activities here like card games, crafts, dice, and hangman."

"Heartland was very clean and seemed to be ok. They have a daily activity time for the folks that live there, they do their wash, help clean them, feed them, etc. This is the only one I have ever visited so it seemed ok, not too much to complain about. "

"My mother and father lived in the Woodhaven apartments for a number of years until they were unable to care for themselves. They both moved to the skilled nursing facility at Woodhaven when they needed additional care. The facility provided loving Christian care and my parents enjoyed the lovely wooded setting. "

"My father is in Regency at Westland. It's nice on the inside. It looks like a hotel. He's not sharing it with anybody, so he has a pretty big room. It looks pretty clean to me. I haven't really met too many of the staff, but they seem pretty good. Their rehabilitation area is huge and it's good. The dining area is just like a typical cafeteria-looking place."
