"I've been here at ProMedica Skilled Nursing And Rehabilitation for about 4 months now. This place is top-notch. Everything is very clean, the food is good, and everyone is pleasant. I have no complaints. I am in a shared room. It's got 3 beds in it and it's very roomy. I'm in a bed that has the most room. I have quiet roommates, so everything is just fine. We have our own shared bathroom. The food here is very good with a nice variety. There is a very large dining room. I do lots of activities here like card games, crafts, dice, and hangman."

"Heartland was very clean and seemed to be ok. They have a daily activity time for the folks that live there, they do their wash, help clean them, feed them, etc. This is the only one I have ever visited so it seemed ok, not too much to complain about. "

"I visited Westland Nursing facility in January of 2011. In general, I thought Westland was an excellent choice for someone that is looking for a placement for a friend or family member. The facility was beautiful inside and out and it was clean and well maintained and structured to fit anyone's individual needs. The grounds of the facility are beautiful and well maintained and very well structured and the landscape was beautiful and coordinated very well. The common areas of the facility were beautiful and had a much laid back, quiet atmosphere surrounding it. The surrounding neighborhood was also beautiful and complimented the facility in general the neighborhood was also beautiful and elegant looking. The residents' rooms are gorgeous and had a picture perfect view inside and out. The residents' rooms were of earth tone colors and the facility was also of earth tone colors also. The residents there were socializing with one another and seemed very happy together. Some of the residents were singing as one of the residents was playing the piano in a very large dining area. The facility did not smell and it was nice and clean. I really liked the décor in the facility it was all coordinated very well together and so did the furniture there. The furniture there was cherry and cedar wood but it was very beautiful to look at and I know that the residents also enjoy the beauty of the furniture and the other surrounding areas in and outside the facility. The staff and management of the facility are very professional, team, task oriented in their job duties and performance. They also treat the residents like family. I think the residents receive excellent and professional care there. While I was there, I noticed that the residents' food looked good and also smelled good. I noticed that a staff person was always in sight for the residents to see if they needed something a staff person was always available for them. I would give Westland Convalescent Center a five star rating for its excellence and expertise in patient care. Overall, Westland Nursing facility is an excellent choice for someone that is looking for a beautiful large nursing facility for a friend or family member who loves to interact with others in an elegant setting. There they would never get lonely because there are so many nice and wonderful people for them to interact with. I would recommend it to everyone, anyone, and anyone of any age group that is looking for a beautiful, elegant, nursing facility for a friend or family member. I know that they would like it there and I know that they would also do well there. "

"My great aunt stayed here for a short time after falling and injuring herself. The facility is clean, the staff was so kind and courteous, they treated my aunt like she was a member of their family, and that was so important to me, to know she was cared about when we weren't present. My family owe a lifetime of gratitude to the staff of this facility. Hopefully we wont need them again but if we do I am more than confidant in saying we will be happy. "

"I visited Sheffield Manor and the whole community is marginal. I wouldn't say it's the lowest and they're also not the best. The staff is sometimes helpful and sometimes not. The rooms need to be updated. It could be the right fit for the right type of person. They can improve on customer service. "

"I visited Advantage Living Center, and they were pretty good. The rooms were semi-private, meant for two people, and they were pretty nice. The staff was very nice and courteous. The floors are clean, the rooms are clean, and didn't smell of urine."

"The rooms are a nice size and very clean and comfortable. Food was great with variety every night. The Nurses and aides were very helpful and friendly (4th floor). They were very attentive to the patients and their families. My Mom’s (Mrs. D) had excellent care from her crew of professionals. When I came to visit her the room was always clean, smelting fresh and quiet. The floors in the entrance and hallways were clean and obstacles free. This Nursing Home/ Rehabilitation Center is a wonderful place to place your family members in need of care. I was very pleased with Boulevard Temple!!!"

"My father is currently at The Lodge at Taylor and he is getting pretty good care there. The place is old, but the care is good. He was in the COVID section first and it was much nicer there, the staff ratio was better, he got much better care, and they were more attentive. The rehab section is just old. The staff comes in and checks on him. I've never seen them do that at the other nursing home he was in. They ask him if he needs to use the bathroom, he's always got water on his table, and he's clean. The dining area is also nice and this is paid through Medicare."

"I got my mom transferred to a nursing facility named Medilodge of Taylor. I checked out a bunch of nursing homes, and this is very convenient to where we are living. They have the services she needed. The rooms are very good. The rooms are not actually quite done yet because they are under construction. The whole wing where she will be staying is brand new. She's got her own room, so that is nice. They offer a lot of activities, but she is at a point with her Alzheimer's and Dementia that she is not able to do much. They got her in physical therapy and are working on her as much as they can. I'm very happy with them. "

Their team of skilled Nurses, skilled and trained CENA's are very professional and they are also team, and task oriented in their job duties and their performances'. The facility is very pretty with blues and earth tone colors and very clean and do not smell. The food there is prepared by a professional culinary cook. The food their looks great and the food there is also very tasty as well. While there, I noticed that Hartford Nursing facility provide their residents with a vast majority of services, activities, recreations, and outside travel activities also. Their residents there are also treated like family. The facility is very beautiful interior and exterior with matching décor that is so satisfying, comfortable and very tasteful to the eye. They also provide their residents with social entertainment so that their residents can interact and socialize with one another. The surrounding neighborhoods surrounding the facility is beautifully landscaped and very well structured and maintained as well. The facility is one of the most beautiful eye catching properties on West Outer Drive. Hartford Nursing facility sits back off too itself with acres of land greenery, and flowers. Hartford provides their residents with all the privacy that any senior can enjoy in the Metropolitan Detroit area. In general, I would rank this facility on a five stars rating for its expertise and excellence. "

"My grandmother is in Law Den Nursing Home. The community is excellent, they're great, they communicate with you, they're nice, and hands-on. They make sure she gets everything she needs. After getting used to it, she likes it there. However, it's an older facility and needs a little work."

"My aunt is at The Villa At Great Lakes Crossing. It is a small facility. They only have about 90 beds. The care that my aunt has been given has been excellent. She is always clean, always fed, and she is happy. She has dementia, but she's a very sweet person, so everybody there has fallen in love with her. I talk to a lot of the residents there because many of them don't get any visitors, so I make the rounds and become their visitor and I hear the same things over and over: they like the food, they like the care that they get, and it's clean. The facility is clean, you never walk in and smell any kind of unpleasant odors. They plan a lot of activities for the residents. They play different games like Bingo. They have a disc jockey come in and play music for them sometimes, and because it's a smaller facility, the staff members really do engage with the residents. One of the things that I value is that they offer church services regularly. My aunt is a devout Christian, so she absolutely loves that. She likes the food. They tailor the menu to the things that she likes. There are a lot of things that she will not eat, so they sit with her and they prepare her menu for the week. I've been very pleased with them. The price is very good. They have a huge dining room when you first walk in. So after they have their meal, it takes them a while to move everybody out."
