The rooms are a nice size and very clean and comfortable. Food was great with variety every night. The Nurses and aides were very helpful and friendly (4th floor). They were very attentive to the patients and their families. My Mom’s (Mrs. D) had excellent care from her crew of professionals. When I came to visit her the room was always clean, smelting fresh and quiet. The floors in the entrance and hallways were clean and obstacles free. This Nursing Home/ Rehabilitation Center is a wonderful place to place your family members in need of care. I was very pleased with Boulevard Temple!!!

Boulevard Temple is clean and the staff seems to be efficient and has no attitude about their work. Most of the time my wife is in the dayroom watching television and conversing with the other clients. She said she likes the food and she looks a lot better than when she left. She seems to enjoy their company.

Some workers are lazy. If you get nurses catrina or serenity you are in trouble. there focus is cell phones and gossiping. I would not trust my loved one there. basement floods and hasn't been in for years. elevators broke and seem to be the norm. licenses should be revoked.

Family member was at this facility for rehabilitation. Family member remained in clothing for greater than 4 days. Family member was not frequently checked and toileted. Family member in wet brief for greater than 5 hours. Had to ask direct care workers to change family member. Had to speak repeatedly to staff regarding family member's privacy and confidentiality...family would walk on unit and hear family member's roommate discussing her care/business (that had been talked about between nursing staff/family) that had taken place at facility with their visitors. Family member was sent out of facility for appointment with same clothing arrived in on admission after 4 days, hygiene not properly performed (if at all), house slippers, hair not attended to. Concerns voiced with Unit Manager (attempted to do "damage control"), no follow up noted.

A large community that are allowed independence in their daily activities. The rooms are monitored frequently and needs are cared for by seasoned caregivers. Temple seems to be a very old facility that has a great history of dedicated care. Price is great and visitors are treated extremely well. Improvements are needed in food and cleaning of the rooms and patients. Dementia patients are allowed to roam the several floors in the facility with access to elevators. Security is very sparse considering temple is in a urban area of Detroit.
