"I visited Sanctuary At Fraser Villa for my father. It was very nice. It was very warm and welcoming. They had everything that was absolutely needed there. They had physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. People were very nice. The work ethic was wonderful. The staff members were very attentive to the residents. The staff members were very good and very kind. They were very attentive with helping those who were having difficulties, e.g., feeding themselves. They were right there to assist residents if they needed help, and that was very impressive. They had luaus, dances, and ice cream socials. They had singing and wine and cheese events. They showed us their calendar of activities. "

My family toured Shelby Nursing Center and found the facility clean and inviting, with a helpful admissions staff. The facility has set their standards very high. My nursing staff and therapists were exceptional! I will definitely recommend this rehab facility to my family and friends. "

"My father-in-law moved into Shelby Crossing Health Campus. Out of all the facilities we looked at, it was the one that had the most capability of fulfilling his needs. He's in skilled nursing in hospice. It's excellent. It looks very clean. The food is really good. He's getting the care that he needs. It doesn't stink, so it's very good. They've got excellent staff. His room is very nice and quite spacious. They have moved them out to the meeting area, so they can be part of the group there."

"We have decided on Shelby Crossing Health Campus. There are doctors on staff, the pharmacy is right there, and they do everything and don't charge extra for it. The staff is awesome, very caring, very outgoing, and get people interested in activities instead of staying in their rooms. They don't have a pool, but I believe they have everything else, and it's all one level with only 40 residents. The rooms are small but adequate. The dining area is awesome, always open, and always has food, fruit juices, and everything there. "

"The level of care that my mom is receiving at Martha T Berry Medical Care Facility is what we were needing for her. There have been many improvements to the facility over the last several years and it is welcoming. The actual care team is very caring and concerned with her well-being. It's beautiful and they have a couple of internal courtyards where the trees are starting to bloom. The grounds are kept well, too. She is in a shared room, but there is a wall dividing the two rooms. It's not just a curtain. There is an actual wall that divides them and then there's a curtain that closes off each side of the room. Each room has a window, which I think is important, too. It's like having their own space. If she presses her call button, not only does the light go on the wall, but it also goes outside in the hallway. Then it notifies the staff via their cell phones that she needs care. So, if they happen to be in another part of the floor where they can't physically see her light, the staff are still notified. The food is very good. They usually do lunch in the dining room and then breakfast and dinner are usually served in their rooms. They have other options besides what is just being served, so they could order off of the menu. They had a piano player that came in and a juggler the other day. They have movies in their big auditorium room and in case they don't want to go down, it's offered on their TVs as well. They have different craft activities, a Keno game, and several things highlighted throughout the day on their activity calendars. Another nice thing is if she needs help, it doesn't matter who it is (whether it's the activities people, physical therapy, people or occupational therapy, the nurses or the aides), they all support one another and they help. So, if she's getting ready to go to therapy and she needs to use the restroom, the therapy person or the activities person would help her to go to the bathroom. They all seem to work well as a team."

"I would say that the rooms are 3-4 clean. The patient really has to work with the nursing staff here. They will prescribe medical if needed, what ever, this place takes care of all ur needs. House doc is fantastic. Food, ahhhh!!! Let's just say, I hope they r working on that. Some meals r a 4 star restaurant & others, not so good but they do have a menu so u can also order from that. The chef is great & this entire staff tries really, really hard to meet all your needs"

"Our experience with the Church of Christ facility has been truly exceptional. The rehabilitation team is phenomenal and demonstrates a high level of skill, compassion, and dedication to each resident’s progress and well-being. The nursing staff genuinely cares about the residents and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure comfort, dignity, and quality care. Each staff member takes the time to build meaningful relationships, not only with the residents but also with their families. That personal connection made a tremendous difference for our family and gave us peace of mind throughout the entire process. The care conferences were extremely informative and well-organized. The team—including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Admissions, and the Business Office—was knowledgeable, attentive, and compassionate. "My mother moved into the Windemere Park Warren. She stayed there before she passed away. They were very helpful, and the place was really nice and wonderful. She came from the hospital and she was in the rehab portion. They did have a Medicaid bed, and she was Medicaid pending at that time. She wasn't even out of quarantine yet. The people were wonderful, and the care seemed good for the time she was there. The surroundings were very nice, clean, and they had very professional people."

"She was at Sanctuary at the Abbey. The place was very good and clean. They had good, very caring staff. They have hospice people come in. They were recommended by the hospital. "

"I was at Regency at Shelby Township. They seemed to know what they were doing. There's a certain amount of waiting sometimes, but they worked pretty hard. They were helpful and they tried to take care of the people. The food was edible. There were nice things, and sometimes they delivered it and you're waiting for things like blood sugars or whatever, it ended up kind of cold. They had some activities. They didn't have that many things for short-term care, but they had some for the long-term care people there. They made a good effort. It's a nice place. They have a rehab place, but they want you to go with a therapist. There's a dining area but since COVID, they haven't opened it up completely. The dining area was nice and quite large. It was mostly paid for by insurance."

"This is a very clean facility. The rehab rooms are updated ans have their own personal shower in the room. Therapy was good. Our Doctor was absolutely wonderful. He saw my mom and spent time with her and explained and answered any of her questions. No one likes to be away from home, but this facility was good. I highly recommend it"

"I visited Cherrywood Nursing and Living Center in November 2011. In general, I thought that Cherrywood Nursing and Living Center would be an excellent choice for someone who is looking for a beautiful Nursing facility for a friend or family member. Cherrywood Nursing and Living Center, is one of the most comfortable and homey facilities that you could ever imagine. The grounds of the facility are comfortable, and have a very homey environment, and very tasteful to the eye, tastefully decorated and inviting common areas. A varied menu that is also prepared on a daily basis to meet all of their residents' nutritional and dietary needs. The common areas of the facility are situated on Park like grounds with beautifully landscaped courtyards with a serene setting for rest and rehabilitation that is very unique and tasteful to the eyes and the surrounding neighborhood has the same serene settings. The residents' rooms are beautifully decorated with full matching décor from the furniture to the bedding and the carpet on the floor all match and blend very well together with perfection. The residents' rooms are also very clean and have no smell. This facility is for anyone and everyone that would like to live in a very homey environment. The staff and management of the facility are very nice, professional and team, task oriented in their specific job duties and their performance. They also offer 24 hour nursing care provided by Registered Nurses and Licensed Professional Nurses, Restorative Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants. They also have visiting Physicians to attend to their residents and coordinate their residents individual needs as necessary. I know the residents receive excellent care there. While I was there, I noticed that their Therapy gym, Therapy rehabilitation, is available to their residents seven days a week. I also noticed that they offer their residents a specific plan of care to meet their individual needs. I would have to give Cherrywood Nursing and Living Center a five stars rating for their quality in excellence. Overall, Cherry wood Nursing and Living Center offers their residents rehabilitation, long term care, hospice and respite care and I would highly recommend it to anyone and people over 50 because I know that they would love it there and I know that they would do very well there. "

"The Henry Ford Continuing Care Center was clean, and it does not have a smell. The staff was good. They were very pleasant. They were disappointed when we left but they did not give us a hard time. They were very nice. "
